5 Title: Methylene-bis(phosphonate) Derivatives for Modification of Biomolecules Author: Tomáš David Department: Department of Inorganic Chemistry, Faculty of Science Supervisor: RNDr. Vojtěch Kubíček, Ph.D. Supervisor's e-mail address: vvvojta@seznam.cz Abstract The aim of this work was to prepare derivatives of methylen-bis(phosphonic) acid. Thirty compounds (from which 29 are new) were prepared with moderate or good yields. All compounds were fully characterized by NMR and MS. Four new crystal structures were obtained by RTG monocrystal analysis. Derivative containing 4-nitrobenzyl group in the side chain was used for study of bis(phosphonates) adsorption parametres to hydroxyapatite (with quantification by UV-Vis spectroscopy). Several derivatives containing characteristic functi- onal groups (-NH2, -COOH, -NCS) were prepared. These compound are suitable for further derivatization, mainly for conjugation with more complex structures through amide bond or thiourea bridge. Conjugates of building blocks with fluorescent probe (fluorescein and dansyl) were prepared for potencial optical imaging. Sketching 3D Models

This thesis deals with the processing and representation of polygonal models. It is devoted to methods for creating and editing 3D models, especially the sketching method. It describes the procedure for design and implementation of a simple plug-in for application OpenFlipper. This plug-in allows creation of 3D model of object by drawing a closed line.

Port of OptaPlanner on Android

This thesis deals with portation of the OptaPlanner tool to the Android operating system. The OptaPlanner is used for solving planning problems and it is completely written in the Java programming language which is also used for application development of the Android operating system. However, Android does not contain all of the Java Standard Edition Application Programming Interface libraries and porting of OptaPlanner to Android thus causes dependency problems. The result of the thesis is solution design and implementation of the problems mentioned above and model Android Vehicle Routing Problem application which uses ported OptaPlanner tool.

Municipal Office Rapotín

The diploma thesis deals with the administrative building, which will serve as a municipal office in Rapotín. The building is designed as an extension to the existing cultural center Rapotín. The building structure is made as a masonry construction with ceiling construction of prestressed panels Spiroll. Single-layer flat roof is divided into two levels, the lower part is extensive green roof and the top of the roof is made such as usual flat roof. The building has two floors and partial basement coverage as well. The building is provided with four sheltered parking lots.

Steel industry in the european region.

The topic of this diploma thesis is "Steel industry in european region". It is divided into four main parts. The first part is concerning the history of smelting industry, its general characteristics on worldwide basis and organizational structure associating the companies of steel industry. The second part is following the situation of steel industry in the european region and specifically in its most important regions. Next part is focusing on the worldwide situation on steel market, actual fininacial crisis and the consequnces and impact of these factors on the status of european smelting industry. The last part is describing the process of the merger of one of the world largest steel companies, concerns Arcelor and Mittal Steel in 2006, preceding circumstances and results of this incorporation. At the end I am trying to outline the perspectives of steel industry in nearest future and summarizing the knowledge acquired during writing this diploma thesis.

The analysis of new trends in marketing communication

In the world of marketing there have been a lot of changes.The traditional principles are not that effective as before. Segmentation, targeting and positionig are still important in marketing strategy, but it is necessary to think about their effects. That is why I cleared up their pross and cons in order to traditional concept of marketing. My aim is to point on the synergetic effect which appears by linking new trends in marketing communication and traditional marketing. I am trying to prove that there is place for murketing, crowdsourcing and Word of Mouth in Czech market and using them would be effective.
