Teacher's evaluation as a manager skill

An Abstract: Evaluation is a crucial part of every human activity and every qualified school teacher knows that it is not possible to do the work without evaluating activities. That's why the teacher's evaluation becomes a necessary, meaningful and obvious part of the educational process. It belongs to the most difficult teaching activities. The target of my bachelor's work is to find out teachers' attitudes and practical experiences with evaluation. In a detailed analysis I tried to show the extensive and wide range that the ability contents. The meaning of my work is to describe and analyse all the evaluating activities on the basis of a qualitative research using a method of an interview. I tried to find out in which different professional contents nursery school teachers and manager school teachers do their evaluating activities. The work is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. The fisrt part is a summary of evaluation theoretical knowledge based on a study of technical literature. In the bachelor's work there are described processes of teacher's evaluating activities. In the practical part there are mentioned the results of the research which was carried out by a method of an interview with three nursery school and basic school teachers. Effect of Cryopreservation on Stem Cells

Effect of cryopreservation on stem cells Summary Background: The topic of this study is the cryopreservation of dental pulp stem cells (DPSCs). Cryopreservation is a process of sustaining the viability of cells and tissues by freezing and storing them at sub-zero temperatures where biochemical reactions do not occur. It eliminates the need to preserve stem cells through long-term cultures, allows the storage of stem cells for potential future clinical use or clinical studies. However, it is necessary to fully understand any adverse effects on cryopreserved cells for full applicability in preclinical and clinical practice. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cryopreservation on DPSCs stored for 6 and 12 months using an uncontrolled-rate freezing technique. Methods: We successfully isolated ten dental pulp stem cell lineages from donors aged 13 - 18 years to be able to observe the effect of an uncontrolled rate freezing technique on cell size, viability, proliferation activity, relative telomere length, and differentiation potential. We used 10 % dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) as a cryoprotective agent (CPA). The theme of this thesis focuses on the sociology of rural town Odry and its issues. It contains, in the first place, evaluated information about families, home, work and free time, but there are also information about culture, education, community life, demo-graphic decline and aging, town management, control and participation of citizens in them, the relationship of indigenous people, new residents and possible cottagers. The SWOT analysis was used for gathering necessary information and public opinion data using a survey that was carried out among residents of the town Odry. To summarize, the most important and significant suggestions and recommendations consist in increa-sing the level of safety in the town and, finally, reconstructing town square and some buildings.

Parenthood in the light of case law of the European Court of Human Rights

The aim of this thesis is to analyze development of particular law fields related to the parenthood and to assess how the case law of the European Court of Human Rights influences interpretation of term parenthood, legal regulation thereof as well as practical realization of certain issues related to the parenthood. The thesis focuses especially on development of interpretation of term "family" and "parenthood", determination of parenthood, right to be a parent, right not to become a parent and right of children to know their genetic origin while a special attention is paid to controversial issues such as surrogacy, baby-boxes, assisted reproduction, abortions or secret and anonymous births. In case of all topics is cited, together with the relevant domestic case law, as well case law of the European Court of Human Rights and the thesis analyzes whether and to which extent they do correspond with each other and how the views of the European Court of Human Rights are reflected in the domestic law. Further, the thesis suggests how the Czech legal regulation could be modified in the future thanks to the influence of the European Court of Human Rights. The Mediating Language in Teaching Czech as a Second Language

The thesis deals with the code choice in the language classroom, particularly with teaching Czech as a foreign language. This thesis is an excursion into contemporary teaching Czech as a foreign language and its main aim is to explore the role of the code choice in CFL teaching and find out the motives of this choice on the part of the teacher - whole thesis is therefore primarily concerned with teacher's code choice in the language classroom and with factors that influence the choice. This aim is realized with the use of several case studies that examine in detail the code choice in several courses of Czech for foreigners using participant observation, semi- structured interview and the results of previous similar studies are taken into account. In conclusion, the results of individual studies are compared and we tried to find out trends and key factors that could play an important role in the code choice in the language classroom.
