Cibulka, O. Influences affecting the development of completed housing construction in the Czech Republic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. This bachelor thesis aims at identifying and quantifying the macroeconomic factors, which fundamentally influence the development of completed housing construction in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of the thesis there is presented the known knowledge about the solved issue. The next chapter deals with the nature of the data, the method of their acquisition and the methods used for econometric modeling. To find factors that significantly affect the volume of completed housing construction, two final regression models, each with a different approach, are compiled and compared in the chapter Results using the regression analysis. After that, a prediction of the development of completed housing construction for 2016 is made. It is also solved the impact of the crisis on the number of completed dwellings in the Czech Republic and compared the development of completed housing construction in the Czech Republic and the South Moravian Region. The conclusion of this bachelor thesis contains the interpretation of the achieved results.

Cibulka, O. Factors influencing the amount of sales in accommodation and catering facilities in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The thesis deals with the quantification of factors affecting the amount of sales in the area of accommodation, catering and hospitality in the Czech Republic. In addition to assessing the significance of these factors, the development of sales in the observed area is examined. To do this, a model is drawn up that describes the behaviour of sales of the given facilities, and on the basis of which the prediction of values for the next 5 quarters is then made. Subsequently, the impact of the financial crisis on the size of sales in the observed area is clarified. Finally, according to the findings, appropriate recommendations for improving the quality of provided services in the observed area are created.

GaN/AlGaN-based high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) attain better performance than their state-of-the-art full silicon-based counterparts do, offering higher power, higher frequency as well as higher temperature of operation and stability, although their voltage and current limits are somewhat lower than for the SiC-based HEMTs. GaN/AlGaN-based HEMTs are a potential choice for electric-powered vehicles, for which they are approved not only for their power parameters, but also for their good temperature stability, lifetime and reliability. It is important to optimize HEMT structures and their growth parameters to reach the optimum function for the real-world applications. HEMT structures were grown by MOVPE technology in AIXTRON apparatus on (111)-oriented single-surface polished Si substrates. Structural, optical and transport properties of the structures were measured by X-ray diffraction, optical reflectivity, time-resolved photoluminescence and micro-Raman spectroscopy.\n

We have prepared the photonic crystal at the top of the nanocrystalline diamond layer. We have obtained the effective extraction of diamond intrinsic photoluminescence via leaky modes. We have shown the simulation of optical gain enhancement in the photonic crystal.
Maturity assessment of BI processes in the banking industry
Cibulka, Ondřej ; Novotný, Ota (advisor) ; Hauzírek, Michal (referee)
Diploma thesis named Evaluation of BI processes in the banking sector is focused on obtaining information from production databases and streamlining the process of creating BI reports in the organization. The process of creating a report is an analytical work, examining the current state of business processes and their support by enterprise applications. The aim of this work is to create a practical proposal for improving the effectiveness of tasks connected with a report set up within GE Money Bank. The main objective is achieved through a design work on the maturity model of BI reporting. Part of the model is a set of tools for identifying the current level of maturity and the conditions necessary for a transition to the next level in accordance with the required level of a BI reporting. The benefit of this diploma thesis is an analysis of commonly used approaches to assess the maturity levels of processes and an application of results of this analysis in Business Intelligence area, specifically the maturity assessment reporting. The result is a maturity model of BI reporting.
