Transmission of cultural and artistic influence in the fourteenth century with an emphasis on cultural relations between Czech lands and England

This work is dedicated to the question of political and cultural relations of Czech lands and England in the second half of the 14th century. Attention is also paid to international relation in western Europe which led to cultural and artistic exchanges. Using historical events as a background, it analyses extant resources and works of art, by which can be the contact proven. Detailed analysis of the preserved works of art with English origin in the second half of the 14th century during the reign of English King Richard II, is followed by comparison with contemporary art production in Czech lands. The goal is to find features these two groups share and to find a way, through which the cultural ideas were transmitted. In that respect it is especially the marriage of the royal daughter Anne of Bohemia to English king Richard II Plantagenet in the year of 1382.

1 FREE MOVEMENT OF HEALTHCARE SERVICES IN THE EUROPEAN UNION RESUMÉ: Cross-border healthcare services, more specifically, patient mobility meaning provision of health care to a patient in a Member State other than that in which such a patient participates in the healthcare security system, can be both unplanned and planned. Patient mobility has become a striking phenomenon having impact on national healthcare systems. While Article 168 (7) TFEU guarantees exclusive competence of Member States in the area of organization and financing of national healthcare systems, they must also exercise their power within the limits of EU legislation, including the rules on freedom to provide services. Thus, despite very limited competence of the EU in the area of healthcare, national systems have not remained free from the influence of EU law. The Court of Justice of the EU played a crucial role in shaping the legal nature of healthcare services in the light of EU law, as it has developed a parallel system of cross-border healthcare rules based on the principle of freedom to provide services directly on the basis of Article 56 TFEU (formerly Article 49 TEC). The role of sculpture in the official art of totalitarian regimes: DDR and ČSR 1948 - 1968 compared

The dissertation is dedicated to the under-researched subject of the official sculpture in the DDR and ČSR in the time-frame 1948-1968. By evaluating the material on a broad background of the art historical, historical, cultural and ideological determinants, the dissertation endeavour to provide an accurate insight into the internal processes of the cultural machinery of the Socialist states with regard to sculpture and sculptors. The comparative character of the dissertation contributes to the understanding of the critical questions of art historical research of the period - such as the (in)authenticity of the local varieties of Socialist Realism and relatedness to the SSSR Socrealism, dates of the Socrealism existence, engagement of modernist sculptors, principles of the state/artist relationship or the second life of the Socrealist sculpture.

Vincenc Kramář and study of medieval art

Vincenc Kramář and study of medieval art. The basic goal of this work is summarization and critical evaluation of the methodological work of Vincenc Kramář for further studying of medieval art, including critical evaluation of the related literature. The main goal should be attempt to define Kramář's methods which he applied on artworks of the medieval era. The connection between Kramář's method and Vienna school of history of art in comparison with contemporary expert approaches of a leading personalities on the field of history of art (B. Berenson, G. Morelli). This bachelor's dissertation also provides detailed analysis of Kramář's works on the field of czech medieval artworks. The influence of Kramář's professional career on development of his method will also be taken into consideration. The more precise subsumption of Kramář's personality and his scientific work within the frame of history of art in czech lands should be the outcome of this dissertation, as well as basic depiction of contemporary expert methods abroad and its infulence on it.
