1 Comparison of Judgment by Default under Czech and Spanish Law Abstract This diploma thesis addresses Czech and Spanish legislation with respect to judgement by default and the subsequent compassion thereof. First chapter focuses on the defendant's default under Czech law, more specifically on the concept of the defendant's default during court proceedings, conditions that must be met in order to deliver a judgement by default, impermissibility of delivering a judgement by default, excusable grounds of default as well as the remedies that can be relied upon against such judgement. Second chapter follows with a description of Spanish legislation on the defendant's default during court proceedings. It deals with the concept of the defendant's default during court proceedings, conditions under which it is possible to issue a declaration of defendant's default, consequences associated with the defendant's default during court proceedings, delivering court documents to the defendant and to application for annulment of the final decision on the matter of the defendant in default and other remedies available to the defendant under Spanish law. Evaluation of university teachers through questionnaires

The thesis surveys student evaluation of university teachers by questionnaires. Its target is to understand more exactly how both participating sides, ie. teachers and students, see the problems. The empirical part of the thesis surveys the situation at the three faculties of Charles University - the Faculty of Philosophy & Arts, the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Catholic Theology Faculty - by depths interveiws. Those interviews made possible to get relatively detailed information that can be applied to preparation for student evaluation. It can also bring better understanding and acceptance of student evaluation by teachers and students, which is a precondition of the use of the results by faculties, as well as the sufficient participation of students in the evaluation in such a way that the research could brind relevant data. The thesis has got two parts. The theoretical part summarizes knowledge referring to the status of university teachers and their evaluation, the empirical part contains the description of the research methodologies, inroduces the valorization of the data obtained in several evaluations that had taken place, and summarizes the information obtained by the depths interviews. Analysis of the positive aspects of the lifestyles of students of the University of South Bohemia.

It is currently very hot topic lifestyles, especially healthy lifestyle. Therefore, it is the thesis deals with just this topic by analyzing the positive aspects of lifestyle for JU students in the Czech Budejovice. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. In the theoretical part I deal with various positive aspects of lifestyle (physical activity, nutrition, relaxation and regeneration). In the empirical part, the main objective was to compare the results with the results of other studies, dealing with a similar problem. For kvantitivní research method I used questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed to 500 respondentkám, return was 73.8%. I set three hypotheses: H1: The students who have a positive attitude to physical activities, attend at least 3 times a week physical activity. H2: The students who know the principles of a healthy diet, regularly eating breakfast daily. H3: Students who sleep every day for more than 8 hours after waking are enough sleep. Based on Pearson's chi-square test, I examined the relationship between the issues of the hypotheses. Then I describe these results and graphed using graphs. The main objective of the empirical part was fulfilled.

This Bachelor thesis deals with the subject of cold bathes, alcohol and smoking of adolescents aged 16 to 19 years. The sense of this theme is based on the trying to find out, what knowledge and experience to the youth of today in these three areas. There are three objectives of the bachelor thesis. The first objective of this work is to compare the knowledge of students aged 16-19 years from selected schools (School of Nursing, grammar school and extension study providing secondary education with a school-leaving examination) in a selected group of girls and boys. The next objective includes views and experiences of the given topics. The last objective is to compile educational material for teachers, which will be certified in practice. Methodology of this work is based on presentation of own designed survey to probands.
