Healthy lifestyle of adolescents

The bachelor thesis titled Healthy Lifestyle of Adolescents examines the different types of free time activities for teens, focusing on healthy lifestyle and related opinions. It also looks into social networks and their influence on people aged 15-19. This age category comes with self- development and learning about one's personality, sometimes a person becomes more susceptible to commit to certain activities than in other age categories. The thesis emphasizes the effect of physical activity on health which is related to consuming wholesome or unhealthy food and other factors, and the differences in the perception of social media between boys and girls. I mainly focus on exploring the relationship between the young adults' views on healthy lifestyle and their participation on social media, I wish to help understand what healthy life means to youngsters and if their views vary depending on gender. Case management in multidisciplinary care of family with disabled children

Summary: The main objective of this thesis is to describe the limits of existing methods and case management in providing health and social services in the Czech Republic of multidisciplinary care for a family with a disabled children. The work is divided into two parts. First - theoretical part - summarizes the theoretical issues, the basic terminology, case management, case manager, describes the role and method of use of case management in social and health services in the Czech Republic and abroad. There is also summarized the issues of families with disabled children, concept of multidisciplinary care for families with disabled children and the legislative framework governing the health and social care for these entities. The second, empirical part, qualitative research focuses on mapping the experience of families with disabled children in the multidisciplinary care of their children in practice, indications, course, professional representation of multidisciplinary care. The research describes the role of parent as a key person and needs in the care of children with disabilities through semi-structured interviews with five respondents who have children with disabilities. Sensory Stimulation of Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury in the Acute Stage of Disease

Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor's thesis is to promote the comprehensive utilization of sensory stimulation in Occupational Therapy practice in patients with traumatic brain injury in the acute stage of disease using a Sensory Stimulation Kit. The work is divided into two parts. The first section summarizes the theoretical issues of traumatic brain injury, early rehabilitation of patients with traumatic brain injury, distribution and causes disturbances of consciousness, the various methods and concepts usin element sof sensory stimulation in Occupational Therapy praktice. In the second, practical part of that case reports of patients, in which I used information from clinical documentation, dates from the patient's own observation, description, course of treatment and condition assessment conducted in patients after sensory stimulation throughout the course examiner's investigation using a Sensory Stimulation Kit. It turned out that using sensory stimulation of two patients with traumatic brain injury in the acute stage of illness, had the conditions in which it was implemented, the impact on the health status of patients. Crime and perceptions of safety in housing estate - Case study Černý Most

This Master Thesis deals with the issue of crime and the perception of safety on the example of a housing estate area. In this case, it is a case study of the housing estate Černý Most. The basic principle is to provide a subjective perspective on the perceptions of safety of the inhabitants in the investigated area and to monitor the issue of what personal experience these residents realistically have with crime. The Thesis also seeks to identify the places that residents consider to be dangerous for them, which evoke the feeling of fear in them and to find out how their behavior changes in these places. Where applicable, to identify the similarities of these places, to trace if there are similar characteristics or whether it is the social and physical environment of the settlement itself that adds to the increased sense of fear. Moreover, work of the police and prevention against crime in the given location will be mentioned.
Proces adaptace českých občanů v cizích zemích

This bachelor thesis concerns with theory of adaptation of individuals who live in different cultural environment. The attention is particularly concentrated to ability of Czech people communicate, work and live in Republic of Indonesia, mainly in island Bali. Theoretical part is based on knowledge from intercultural psychology and interkultural communication. There are explained underlying terms, which are connected with futher mentioned theories, for example: culture, nation, ethnocentrism, stereotypes, cultural shock, acculturation or adaptation. There is also intepreted Geert Hofstede's cultural dimensions theory. According this theory is compared czech national culture with indonesian national culture and mentioned their common similarities and differencies. The main attention is paid to models of acculturation and theories of adaptation. In the practical part bachelor thesis are interpreted results from interviews and questionnaires with Czech people, who live in part of Indonesia namely in Bali. These questionnaires were made by the model od CCAI (Cross-Cultural Adaptability Inventory). Interviews and questionnaires inform how Czech people perceive indonesian culture and if they are able to operate effictively in this foreign milieu.
Competition policy of EU in the field of state aid

This thesis deals with competition policy in the field of state aid. The objective is to outline how the system of granting the state aid works and how the regulations are anchored in the legislation of EU. On the other hand the thesis wants to offer different points of view on the policy. The second half of the paper focuses on the Czech banking sector -- it studies the environment of late 90s and compares the positions of big bank before their privatization. The case of Komerční banka has been chosen to analyze the specific impacts of granted state aid.
