The Implementation of Transport Projects in the Context of Developing Axes in Czechia

The bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of transport corridors in the context of the Czech Republic's development axes. A general definition of transport corridors is initially presented along with their supporting methodological and legislative documents. Next, the thesis is devoted to showing geography affects TEN-T sites in Europe and the Czech Republic, respectively. Main part discusses the strategic documents in the transport sector and transport policy coherence related to compliance with implementation plans. In conclusion, transport network's problems are indentified and an evaluation of the relationship between planning and reality is presented.

Euroregion Bílé Karpaty - Česko-slovenská přeshraniční spolupráce

This thesis focuses on cross-border cooperation. To set the reader into context, its history and position within European Union is mentioned here. However, the main focus is set onto the cross-border cooperation in the Czech Republic, Czech-Slovak borderland is further analyzed in detail. Using socio-economic analysis of regions of Zlín and Trenčín, particular euroregion, White Carpathian Mountains, is studied, whether socio-economical level is raised on both sides of the border as a result of this cross-border cooperation. SWOT analysis, which can point out possible directions of development of this region, is also part of this thesis. Questionnaire method is used in the conclusion of the thesis. This method has to reveal, whether this region was created on historical background, or whether it was formed more or less artificially in order to get funds.
Cross-border cooperation of Euroregion Neisse Analysis by EGTC

Thesis in its theoretical part deals with cross-border cooperation and analyzes a new legal instrument at EU level - European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC). The work describes the instrument, including the establishment of a legal basis. It also deals with the potential use of the EGTC, which focuses on the permanent structure for cross-border cooperation, ie. Euroregions and make a summary of the EGTC already developed within the European Union. The practical part focuses on a description of the Euroregion Neisse, who ordered the creation of a legal entity as one of the main objectives and is currently in the process of preparing the establishment of an EGTC. This section is in addition to the characteristics of the Euroregion analysis of individual steps in the creation, use specific options on the EGTC and the comparison with existing legal entities within the EU. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the EGTC and determine whether it has the potential for the development of the Euroregion Neisse.
Measuring the performance of quality management system

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of quality management systems productivity. The introductory part is devoted to the importance of quality for company competitiveness with an emphasis on the economic benefits of improved quality. An important part is devoted to methods of performance evaluation system of quality management in the context of the recommendations of ISO 9000 and EFQM Excellence Model principles. Considering the follow-up practical part my thesis is also supplemented by the requirements of ISO TS 16949, which is used as a sectoral standard for the automotive industry suppliers. The practical part is devoted to evaluating and analysing productivity of a selected company quality management system. The thesis evaluates this company according to the Model Organization Start National Quality Award, which is based on the principles of the EFQM Excellence Model. On the basis of the analysis, areas with potential improvement were identified, and appropriate steps designed. Despite the undoubtedly existing potential for further improvement we can observe that the Quality Management System of the selected company permanently achieves a high level.
