The information about amenities and reviews of individual properties offering accommodation are firstly categorized. The effects of each such category together with information about size and location on the average daily rate are then investigated using the ordinary least squares method. The following parameters are found to have have the most significant effect on the average daily rate: location in Prague, the maximum number of occupants, hotel-type equipment, and luxury amenities.

Souček, Ondřej ; Kubelková, Karina (advisor) ; Řežábek, Pavel (referee)
Labor share in the neoclassical context is perceived as a share of the labor income in GDP. A very basic way to compute the labour share simply entails dividing compensation of employees by gross value added. After a series studies and the rise of neoclassical economics, the assumption of labor share stability over time was introduced. With the publication of Kaldor's theory of growth, the assumption of labor share stability became a generally accepted fact. The aim of this thesis is to answer the question on how the labor share and its individual characteristics evolved in the Czech Republic in the years 1993-2015 and whether its average level and the overall trend in this period corresponds to the neoclassical labor share theories.

Relation between central bank independence and accountability at the example of quantitative easing of the ECB and the Fed in 2005 - 2016
Pýchová, Jitka ; Ševčík, Miroslav (advisor) ; Řežábek, Pavel (referee)
The thesis deals with relation between central bank independence and accountability. The relation is examined on example of quantitative easing implemented in the period 2005 - 2016 by the European central bank and the Federal Reserve System. From the theoretical and practical point of view the thesis proves that the relation between central bank independence and accountability are influenced by the specification of targets of monetary policy to a great extent. The thesis also proves that the specific definition of both central bank independence and accountability influenced the characteristics of quantitative resp. credit easing. Moreover, such monetary policy can potentially endanger the independence of both central banks in many ways. Thus, the implementation of quantitative easing itself and its potential consequences evidences that the contemporary conception of central bank independence and accountability is insufficient and needs to be reviewed.

Němečková, Dagmar ; Procházka, Pavel (advisor) ; Řežábek, Pavel (referee)
Microbusiness is recognized as an important tool for economic growth especially in less developed countries. It is supposed that a lack of access to capital is one of the most prominent constraints of microentepreneurs. To address this limitation, many forms of loan guarantee programs have been established. This paper examines what demands are placed on an effective guarantee structure in this field and how these aims are accomplished by the current guarantee funds. In conclusion, the access to capital is getting better recently in these countries. Guarantee funds have been growing, however, their importance is not so significant yet. Guarantee funds have a potential to draw an attention of investors to microlending but the cost of these schemes seems to be too high.
