Title: Motivation to increase the synchronized swimming coach qualification Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out what motivational factors could lead the Czech synchronized swimming coaches to improve their qualifications. Methods: The data obtained from the questionnaire survey was processed in Microsoft Excel 2016. Subsequently, it was sorted and further analyzed using basic statistical operations. Results: Interest in synchronized swimming and the need of the coaches' home clubs was the main motivational factor of the III. class coaches. Main motivational factor of II. class coaches was interest in this sport. The motive of the I. class coaches was mainly their own ambitions. Motivational factors for coaches who themselves want to further improve their qualifications are more diverse. These in particular are personal growth, interest in sports, achieving a higher level of expertise, and the possibility of better training the athletes. There are only a few motivational factors to change the opinion of coaches when they are reluctant to improve their qualifications. Title: Use of mental training by swimming coaches in the Czech Republic Objectives: The goal of the work is to find out the use of mental training by swimming coaches in the Czech Republic, both in the training and in the competition. Furthermore, the work finds out which methods coaches apply the most in both areas. Methods: In our work we used the method of questionnaire survey. A modified Questionnaire Test of Performance Strategies * 2 (TOPS * 2) was used for the survey, which determines whether the coaches know the methods of mental training and how they include them in the psychological training of the swimmer. Results: We found that most coaches are educated in mental training. Mental training is used in training and competition only sometimes. In the competition is mental training used more often than in the training. In each part of the mental training, the trainers stated at least one method or skill that they apply to their wards or themselves. Keywords: swimming, mental training, TOPS * 2
Influence of buoyancy dumb-bells on load intensity during shallow water aerobic
Houdová, Veronika ; Peslová, Eva (advisor) ; Čechovská, Irena (referee)
Title: Influence of buoyancy dumb-bells on load intensity during shallow water aerobic Objectives: The aim of this theses was to compare the heart rate to several variants during 14 minutes head-out aquatic exercise (with simultaneous legs and arms actions and with simultaneous legs and arms actions using buoyancy dumb-bells). 8 females, clinically healthy and with a regular level of physical activity in age between 25-60 years (age 42 ± 11,4 years) were studied. The other aim of this theses was to compare the heart rate during rest on land and rest in water during shallow water aerobic in an upright position with water level to shoulder depth. Methods: We monitored heart rate changes during 14 minutes head-out aquatic exercise by Sport Tester S610i. The results of the tests were analyzed and evaluated with Polar Precision Performance software. Chi-squared test was used to examine the average difference to heart rate during tests. Results: We found non-significant increases on load intensity during test with using buoyancy dumb-bells. Average heart rate during rest in water showed decreases by 13 beats per minute. Keywords: buoyancy dumb-bells, load intensity, heart rate, shallow water aerobic
Training optimization of swimming of school-age children
Hudcová, Stanislava ; Čechovská, Irena (advisor) ; Břečková, Gabriela (referee)
Subject matter: Training optimization of swimming of school-age children Objectives: The main goal of this research work is to suggest a model of advanced swimming training lessons with school-age children. Swimming training is practised in deep swimming pool. Next goal is to create an inventory of games and game disciplines which are suitable for training in deep water. Through the analysis of specialized literature and realization of experimental education we will be able to formulate new pieces of knowledge and introduce practical experience as a recommendation for practice. Method: The research work will observe swimming skills of school-age children within the advanced swimming training. The method of direct participant observation, measurement and scaling will be used. Results: Check on a model training we find out that advanced swimming trainning practised in deep water requires modifications of didactic methods of swimming skill training and swimming locomotion. Constant training of basic swimming skills, well- considered practises on a shore, motivational games and game disciplines are considered as the most important on the advanced swimming training. Key words: advanced swimming training, games, game disciplines, deep swimming pool/water, unsuitable swimming conditions

Kučerová, Miloslava ; Fialová, Ludmila (advisor) ; Čechovská, Irena (referee)
Verification of the Educational Programme for Swimming Instructors Working with the Disabled The aim of my work is to verify the quality of the didactic method used in the training program, which has participants at the elementary level to prepare for the role swimming instructor for the handicapped. This is a specific area richly entwined interesting, sometimes seemingly disparate fields such as sport and disability, rehabilitation and enjoyable experiences help not in the sense of "charity" but rather as an accompaniment to search their maximum possibilities and boundaries with a final, unexpected profit to both sides. In this research, we want to verify that the selected didactic approach and content can interconnect areas mentioned in a meaningful whole. Whether the training conforms to the participants as an educational program where there is a predetermined learning knowledge and skills. Whether met their expectations and that they are taught content usable in practice. There is also the possibility of longer-term profit not only from the knowledge gained, but a kind of enrichment inside man through principles that are in a training program instructor communicated and that appears. I wondered also how the participants perceive teachers as speech and access to participants and trainer přednášenému...

Observations of reactions of children to reciprocal didactic style and inclusion style were registered after each examined lesson to logs that were then analysed. To assess the effectiveness of the selected teaching styles were used the level of swimming test, which was conducted for each of the subjects at the beginning and end of the research. Results: The results show that children accepted the reciprocal didactic style and didactic inclusion style. It took some time before they got used to the reciprocal didactic style while the inclusion didactic style was accepted immediately. These two teaching styles were popular for children. The lessons were more interesting because of use of these didactic styles. Even the teachers were enriched by the new ways of leadership in lessons. For testing the level of...
