New trends in international marketing: Green services

Green marketing has been one of the most discussed trends in international marketing for a decade at least. Compared to green goods, little attention is paid to green services, although services are an essential part of developed countries' economies. Green services in the Czech Republic stand at the starting point of breakthrough. Until the present comprehensive marketing information about this area has been absent. The aim of this thesis is to fill the gap in information by setting up a framework for strategic marketing planning of green services in the Czech Republic. The information needed has been collected from other markets' data, an interview with an insider and a consumer survey. The data obtained has been used in the various steps of green services strategic marketing framework in Czech circumstances.

Lower urinary tract dysfunctions in patients with diabetes mellitus

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a endocrine metabolic disorder that is associated with many complications and lower urinary tract dysfunction (LUTD) is one of them. In addition LUTD can be caused by many other disorders and sometimes it can be difficult to isolate the cause. Incidence of diabetes is increasing and prevalence is expected to increase worldwide to 300 million people in 2025. The most important causes for diabetes and lower urinary tract abnormalities are diabetic neuropathy caused by hyperglycaemia. Approximately 50% of diabetic patients develop some form of neuropathy. Diabetes can cause LUTD many ways and research have shown many possible mechanisms involved. Among the suggested mechanisms are up-regulation of muscarinic receptors, smooth muscle hypertrophy, increase in myosin light chain phosphorylation and changes of certain calcium sensitive potassiumchannels (MaxiK). The increasing knowledge of pathophysiology and pathogenesis of LUTD made it necessary with a new approach to patients, terminology changes, better definitions and classifications. During the 20th century, medicine has undergone massive development. But countless new methods to save life or improve its quality began to develop a new perspective on health and the role of doctors and patient. Recognizing that virtually everything we do, eat, breathe, etc. affects our health, moved a large part of the responsibility for maintaining health to all of us. A patient who decides on many factors alone, should become a collaborator in self-care and an active participant prevention and therapy. Another change that is greatly reflected in the medical approach to therapy is the pursuit of the lowest of all invasive medical procedures. Doctor must always weigh the benefits and risks of surgery, which intends to make, and it should be attempt to choose the therapy so as to have the least adverse effects in maintaining good efficiency of treatment. The bachelor thesis deals with the community web services and their business usage. It is divided into four parts. The first part is an introduction in which it discussed the issue and derivation of the community web services, on what they are based. The second part of the thesis is an about accessibility and the usability of the web services. Part of the chapter are graphic features, functionality and selection of the address of website service. Another part is based on the classification of web services, a description of social networks as one of the elements of community services. An example of the Facebook is used for a wider understanding of the possibilities of community web services. Also in this section are analyzed the future and the development of web services. One of the most interesting part of the bachelor thesis is the last fourth part. It is about the development phase, ensuring the good will and image of the community web services.

Branches of science such as epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, statistics and various statistical methods are by ground for activity of epidemiological-manager indicators. Incidence and prevalence are numbered among epidemiological-manager indicators. In condition of hospital Pelhřimov are these indicators written, analyzed and predicated for department of hospitalized in years 2005 -- 2007. At the same time is appraised use of capacities department of hospitalized, is made analyse and estimation of most often treated diagnosis and is watched progress their average time of treatment. The watching indicators are by one of series others records for manager decision-making by control of hospital.

March of the Celts. Discoursive and social practice of "celtomania" in Czech Republic in the 1990s

In my thesis I'm dealing with the phenomenon of "celtomania" in the Czech Republic in the ninetees. The main object of this study are discoursive, performative and other social practices that used and contributed to the image of the Celts. In the post-socialist transformation process of the czech society the commemoration of the Celts helped individuals to draw a line between the present and the past and articulate a vision of desired future. This symbolic manipulation supported the image of the Celts as the essence of good. The thesis closes with a brief account about the possibility that the access to the "celtic" symbolic capital is a key factor for understanding the smooth reception of the phenomenon in the czech socio-cultural sphere and also it's relatively sudden decline.

This paper focuses on a timely topic, specifically management of processes and improvement of business processes. Czech economy has now fully accommodated to business in market conditions and Czech businesses are increasingly more integrated into the global economy. These conditions require increasing competitiveness of Czech companies and increasing the efficiency of administrative activity. In order for modern companies to succeed in the marketplace they must constantly focus on the improvement of their activities, and therefore it is important to keep developing new technologies, business methods, and improve the quality of the final products of the introduction of new effective methods of management and organization of businesses. Business processes are an integral part of every company and their improvement is an essential tool to increase competitiveness and proximity to the customer. The study of business processes allows to gain the necessary expertise in complex analysis and a detailed assessment of existing processes, finding optimal solutions that the managers and employees cannot see in their positions. Optimizing business processes supports us in having a clear idea of all the activities, objectives and final outcome of their activities. Only in case where the company will have a good analysis of the underlying business processes focused on a specific goal can the enterprise achieve improvements in all the necessary activities. Process analysis is a good method to answer the question what is necessary and sufficient to achieve the desired objectives. This thesis is focused on business processes and their improvement. The theoretical part elaborates on the process management and compares different approaches to making changes. The practical part focuses on the application of theoretical knowledge in a chosen company. Firstly it describes the analysis of the current situation and subsequently submits proposals for specific improvements.
