The role of the radiological assistant in the radiotherapy of prostate cancer
Macháček, Jan ; Jirkovská, Michaela (referee) ; Malinová, Běla (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis "The Role of the Radiological Assistant in the Radiotherapy of Prostate Cancer" deals with a malignant disease of prostate which represents the most common type of cancer of adult men. In preface of my work, I concentrate on anatomy and function of prostate, epidemiology, disease symptoms and I so describe the way of diagnosis (PSA, DRE, TRUS, biopsy, radioisotopic scintigraphy, CT, MR and cystoscopy) here. The extent of tumour (staging) and clinical stage of disease (TNM classification, level of tumour differentiation) are very important at prostate cancer too. In realm of the curative strategy, I write about the surgical treatment, the possibility of radiotherapy, and about the hormonal treatment and the chemotherapy in the end. Especially I want to remark a daily working content of the radiological assistant at workplace of the radiological oncology (localization, planning CT examination, contouring, radiotherapy plan simulation, daily patient positioning and irradiation on linear accelerator) and equipment needed to radiation therapy (simulator, planning CT scanner, linear accelerator). In the end of my work I concentrate on the prognosis of prostate carcinoma and why it is important to do the preventive examination (screening) of this disease. Contemporary care about dying patients from the point of a nursering staff view
Stránská, Aneta ; Mareš, Jiří (advisor) ; Hodačová, Lenka (referee) ; Švecová, Dagmar (referee)
First degree work characterizes the process of dying and death and nears the contemporary possibilities of a lenitive and hospice care in the Czech Republic. The starting point is the definition of basic ideas and their brief characterictic drawing from get-at-able literature and information from practice. For finding the answer for contemporary level of care about dying patients was chosen the method of a qualitative research in the form of an anonymous questionnaire appointed for a nursering staff of a standard department in the chosen medical institutions. This first degree work isn't the universal instruction how to care about and to behave to dying people. This work contributes to thinking about the question of the death and dying, about own mortality and about the factors that influence this period. It nears the needs of dying people and the opinions of a nursering staff concerning priorities and obstacles in accompanying of the dyings.

Dynamic analysis of bridges structures
Prokš, Tomáš ; Salajka, Vlastislav (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with dynamic analysis of cable-stayed steel pedestrian footbridge. The dynamic response of pedestrian-induced vibration was studied. The response of structure exeeded standard acceptance limit. Due to the effect of installed Tuned Mass Damper was studied. Motion equations of single and two degree of freedom model were solved in program MATLAB and the results were compared with numeric model in ANSYS.

Cross-border transformations of commercial companies
Rajdová, Denisa ; Dobiáš, Petr (advisor) ; Brodec, Jan (referee) ; Pauknerová, Monika (referee)
This thesis discusses a method of implementation of the freedom of company establishment in the form of cross-border transformations after the amendment of the Transformation Act, which came into force on 1 January 2012. This right which a company is guaranteed is analyzed in the context of relevant CJEU case law. This thesis follows the structure of the Act. The first part deals with general issues of cross-border transformations and is followed by a chapter on the types of cross-border transformations. The final part of this thesis is devoted to a discussion about the possible kinds of economic movation for the tranformations. The goal is to analyze the possibilities of cross-border transformations and to assess their historical development with respect to both major CJEU decisions and legislative activities of the EU and the Czech Republic.

Hodnocení Výsledků Fuzzy Shlukování
Říhová, Elena ; Pecáková, Iva (advisor) ; Řezanková, Hana (referee) ; Žambochová, Marta (referee)
Cluster analysis is a multivariate statistical classification method, implying different methods and procedures. Clustering methods can be divided into hard and fuzzy; the latter one provides a more precise picture of the information by clustering objects than hard clustering. But in practice, the optimal number of clusters is not known a priori, and therefore it is necessary to determine the optimal number of clusters. To solve this problem, the validity indices help us. However, there are many different validity indices to choose from. One of the goals of this work is to create a structured overview of existing validity indices and techniques for evaluating fuzzy clustering results in order to find the optimal number of clusters. The main aim was to propose a new index for evaluating the fuzzy clustering results, especially in cases with a large number of clusters (defined as more than five). The newly designed coefficient is based on the degrees of membership and on the distance (Euclidean distance) between the objects, i.e. based on principles from both fuzzy and hard clustering. The suitability of selected validity indices was applied on real and generated data sets with known optimal number of clusters a priory. These data sets have different sizes, different numbers of variables, and different numbers of clusters. The aim of the current work is regarded as fulfilled. A key contribution of this work was a new coefficient (E), which is appropriate for evaluating situations with both large and small numbers of clusters. Because the new validity index is based on the principles of both fuzzy clustering and hard clustering, it is able to correctly determine the optimal number of clusters on both small and large data sets. A second contribution of this research was a structured overview of existing validity indices and techniques for evaluating the fuzzy clustering results.

Vliv POS na prodeje: LEGO Nexo Knights kampaň 2016 v hračkářstvích
Kinštová, Veronika ; Král, Petr (advisor) ; Karlíček, Miroslav (referee)
In today's highly competitive and cluttered marketing environment it becomes increasingly harder for brands to differentiate themselves form others. This is especially pronounced in the retail space. Shopper marketing is a discipline that focuses on shoppers and their needs to create a unique shopping experience and thereby increase in-store communication effectiveness. Keeping in mind the challenges of marketing to children, LEGO aims to communicate to its shoppers as well as consumers through the platform of in-store its core values of creative play, fun and learning. The thesis discusses the effectiveness of LEGO shopper marketing, specifically the engagement elements it uses in various channels. The aim is to test and evaluate the impact of these materials on the target audience and sales as well as define the hierarchy of LEGO in-store communication materials. In the theoretical part shopper marketing concepts, shopper beaviour and marketing in the toy industry are discussed.
