The metodology of delimitation of economically weak areas of South Bohemia region

An essential part of regional policy is the definition of areas which should be supported with regard to the balanced development of the region. The present thesis deals with analysis of methodical progresses in definition of problem regions in the Czech Republic which then is used to fulfil the main task of the work - making up The metodology of delimitation of economically weak areas of South Bohemia region. Introductory chapters devote to the aims of the work and summarize the used literature. The chapter ``methodology of the processing{\crq}q explains the use of various methodologies for the processing of this work. The following chapter brings a brief overview related to the regional policy. The next chapter is devoted to some selected socio-geographical characteristics of South Bohemia region. The following chapters give an overview of definition of problem regions at the national and regional levels. The last and main chapter deals with the creation of methodology of delimitation of economically weak areas of South Bohemia region. Thesis contains a number of tables, graphs and cartograms which with regard to the nature of the work make an essential part of it.

Animal ceramic sculpture

The master{\crq}s thesis is divided into three parts. The introductory part is concerned with the turtle from a professional viewpoint. The historical development and symbolism of this creature are dealt with, as well as palaeontological findings and relevant bits of interesting information. The following chapters are primarily practical. This practical work on the ceramic sculpture, though, is also based on the study of relevant literature. The third part provides a photodocumentation to the text. It features the final product as well as the process of its creation.

Jirasek's minor prose pieces.

The thesis is focused on the small prosaic historical creation of the writer Alois Jirasek. The main aim of this work is to affect the nature and the transformation of this set of material and artistic development due in it, which is done on the basis of the analysis of selected historical works from his prose. In addition to above analysis, the work in the introductory section focuses on the construction of the bibliography of this minor prose and also tries to, by using selected works, reconstruct its historical resonance. The conclusion of the the work contains a summary of Jirasek's minor prose pieces and assessment of the most commonly used themes in the works, which analysed the nature of his work reflect his artistic development.

Oskar Wiener and his creation for children

The subject of this thesis is the German writer and Prague citizen Oskar Wiener, one of the city's lesser known authors from the turn of the 20th century. Special attention is paid to the author's writing for children, works that play a significant role is his overall creative output. The first chapter formulates the subject matter and establishes the goals of the thesis. The second chapter takes a look at the life of Oskar Wiener through the use of archive material, the recollections of friends and autobiographical elements in Wiener's work. The third chapter discusses German literature in Prague at the turn of the 20th century, including the historical background and a presentation of the literary groups of this period, especially the Jung Prag group and its literary tendencies. The fourth chapter is devoted to the Prague neo-romantics, a group to which Oskar Wiener belonged. The fifth chapter provides a brief overview of Wiener's overall work, with an emphasis on his activities as collector and agent. The sixth and seventh chapters then take a closer look at Wiener's writing for children: chapter six introduces his specific works and chapter seven places them in the general context of modern pedagogy. Domenico Cimarosa: Il matrimonio segreto in Bohemia

The bachelor thesis deals with the Domenico Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto and its premiere in 1792 at Nostitz Theatre in Prague. In the first part of thesis I summarize Cimarosa's life and work. The following chapter of thesis represents characteristics and development of opera buffa in the 18th century and then creation and genesis of Il matrimonio segreto. The work is also examined from the perspective of multiple structures of the libretto and music. In the third chapter the development of opera in Prague during the 18th century is approached and there is also the discussion about the premiere of Il matrimonio segreto. Due to lack of surviving sources, which would come from the late 18th century, however, can not prove most of the necessary information for the reconstruction of the Prague performance of this opera. The last section also provides a list of sources of operas that have survived in Bohemia and made their description. Approach is to form strands, where the opera Il matrimonio segreto is gained wide currency in the Czech lands and capture their deviations from the surviving German scores.

Serious games and their Possible Use in Teaching and Learning

Diploma thesis "Serious games and their possible use in teaching and learning" describes the so-called "serious games" and evaluates the potential of teaching and learning with regards to the current educational and information needs. This thesis originated in 2010 and especially the research case studies, Simon E. Nielsen, Vit Šisler, Cyril Brom, and user testing of educational games such as Europe in 2045 and his active participation in the workshop devoted Enter3 serious games, where the author participated in the creation of several "serious" modules the game Unreal Tournament. At the beginning author describes the methodological apparatus of the thesis with the focus on the theoretical aspects and the research of computer games as a scientific field called game studies. The second part deals with the development and current form of computer games. Furthermore, the author attempts a breakdown and categorization of "serious games" in compliance with the genre or centred on their influance on the key groups (students, employees). He also wants to find an answer to the question "why we play the games" or what makes the games serious. This thesis deals with realization of modular camera system. Introductory part is focused on market research and concept of the system. Next part is dedicated to the choice of components for realization of the system. Practical part deals firstly with design of printed circuit board for supporting control unit which will be controlling peripherals like motion sensor, IR illuminator, eventually magnetic door contact and also focuses on software creation for main and supporting control unit.

Pavel Prudký Digital divide problematics between different age groups and it's solution The thesis is focused on digital divide problematics between different age groups and it's solution. The initial theoretical part is being followed by a practical part, including it's own research, dealing with digital divide problematics between different age groups in the specified region. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I discribed the phenomenon of the information society, information society and social exclusion, Czech information society, digital divide, gray digital divide and I also examined the specifics of different age groups. In the practical part of the work I dealt with the analysis of the digital divide problematics between different age groups in the specified region. After determining the objectives and description of survey methods for obtaining and processing data collected in the questionnaire survey, I dealt with analyzing the survey data, especially data relative to hypotheses set, describing the creation of digital divide between members of different age groups. In the conclusion, there were described existing conceptions in the European Union, in Czech Republic, and then were determined suggestions for specific procedures to eliminate the digital divide between different age groups.

Sekundarní aromatické látky ve Svatomartinských vínech

This thesis deals with selected ingredients of the chemical structure of wine. Greater attention is given to a smaller group of substances which have a positive influence on the aroma of wine. It describes the creation and concentration in wine. The most important of these compounds are esters. The first section describes " Svatomartinské víno", the varieties and technology suitable for the production of these wines. Trade brand name "Svatomartinské víno" may be used by any wine producer registered in the Czech Republic who is capable of meeting the criteria Wine fund Czech Republic. In this work we can find mention of yeasts, which have a bearing on the final aroma of wine. Finally, in this work we find methods for determining aromatics, of which the best known methods include chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry.

Human and material resources of choice region

This work is looking for potential development trends of the region Prachatice. For the development of region are necessary as basic expectations {--} human and material resources of a region. Forepart describes a theoretic view on regional development and of his conditionality with a capital, including of a human capital. The economic growth is associated with investments and accumulation of capital. In the second part are quantified human resources of the region Prachaticko and described their structure. The next part finds possible approaches delimitation and quantification of material resources. The material resources were determined in four fields {--} natural resources, infrastructure, touristic potential and assets of firms and households. Potential development directions are sought in the main part by four methods. SWOT analysis, numeration of choice factors in monetary units, appreciation qualities of entrepreneurial environment and searching potential directions of development pursuant to previous findings grant differently valuable records. Altogether, the biggest potential of the region have been found in creation of unified system tourist and sports service trades unific small enterprisers in this branch.
