UML Analysis Consistency Verification
Šrajer, Michal ; Rubač, Tomáš (advisor) ; Skopal, Tomáš (referee)
The UML language is nowadays widely spreaded standard for modelling of software systems. The problem of UML analyses is their inconsistency which is not usually checked by modelling tools. While analysing wider projects, great amount of inconsistencies an arise. Thaťs why the automatic checking seems to be necessary. First part of thesis sumarizes various approaches to consistency verification of UML models and basic notions. In the rest of the work, own approach focused on verification of textual parts of analysis is proposed. Approach to write precise use-case definition is designed, including relevant consistency rules that are further formalized using OCL. Feasibility of proposed approach is confirmed by verification of real analysis of simple software system. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Příklady z České republiky dokumentují celoevropské aktivity Evropské unie v oblasti informační společnosti. V závěru je vyjádřeno zamyšlení nad současným stavem informační společnosti v Evropě.

Analytical evaluation of biologically active compounds using liquid chromatography.
Zerzaňová, Anna ; Klimeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Blešová, Marie (referee) ; Nobilis, Milan (referee)
Disertační práce Summary 133 This dissertation thesis is focused on the analytical evaluation of biologically active compounds with the aid of High Performance Liquid Chromatography, especially with selective and sensitive detection performed by mass and coulometric detector. In the theoretical part of this dissertation thesis, there is attention paid to the importance and status of mass spectrometry as a tool of the modern analytical method of the detection. In this dissertation thesis, there is also a view of electrochemical methods and applications, focusing on coulometric measurements in flow systems. The results of the experimental work have been compiled and presented in three articles published in scientific impact journals. The list of reached results is following: The first article deals with a comparison of four chromatographic columns for their use in bioanalytical studies. Numerous HPLC columns with different bonded stationary phases are nowadays available, and producers continue to expand the range of columns they offer. Four real mixtures of biologically active compounds were used for the testing. Every mixture contained a parent active compound, its real metabolites and proper internal standard. Measurements were performed on two monolithic and two particle-packed columns with quite new...

2008: Dwarves are still alife. Fenomenon of a garden dwarf in the light of culturological context
Pejsarová, Jana ; Borecký, Vladimír (referee) ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor)
The intention of my thesis is to work out a complex study of the fenomenon of a garden dwarf, and through the perspective of culturological disciplines hammer out its merits. In the introduction I claim that the existence of garden dwarves by human houses is manifestation of a very old and deep human requirement subsisting in forming our homes in the way we feel secure there and we can orientate ourselves there. The first chapter presents basic concept definitions and summary of actual knowledge in dwarf-studies. Particularly I am interested in the origin of dwarves generally, and then garden dwarves as a specific species - its phylogenesis. Farther I focus on dwarf as a product of human activity: merchandise and artwork as well - its ontogenesis. I regard the relation between creator or owner and the artefact as very important. Chapter four is an essential part of my thesis. I write about traditional society and cults of home-fire gods, mainly in Czech region. I consider garden dwarf to be a continuator of the aforesaid old tradition. In my opinion, there are two connecting elements: shape and colour of its cap - referring to flames of home-fire and protective function of red colour in traditional opinion. Next chapter is dedicated to interpretation of dwarf in light of psychoanalyse. Then I propose to...

Skalová, Zuzana ; Plíva, Stanislav (advisor) ; Liška, Petr (referee)
Resumé Problems associated with awarding of public procurement by sector contracting entities The topic of this Dissertation is presentation of certain problems associated with awarding of public procurement by sector contracting entities. To begin with, basic issues of tenders and public procurement procedures are presented in a legal framework, referring not only to the Laws of the Czech Republic but also to the Laws of the European Union. This part includes definitions of basic terms, especially the public procurement concept and principles of applicable legislation. A short historical context concerning development of the legal norm after 1989 is provided. In the actual text, appropriate attention is paid to differentiation of public contracting entities with an emphasis on the content and development of the term "sector contracting entity". The definition of sector contracting entities is a key term of this Dissertation. The process of awarding of public procurement by a sector contracting entity is subject to numerous legal exemptions, as well as some specific law regulations. These exemptions and law regulations are described and thoroughly analysed in the Dissertation. In relevant cases, a comparison between the existing laws and legislation amendments enacted as of April 1, 2012 is made, completed...

Monitoring of ABC-transporter expression at the transcription level
Kalmanová, Milada ; Štaud, František (advisor) ; Čečková, Martina (referee)
Human ABC (ATP-binding cassette) family of active transporters contains about 50 functionally diverse transmembrane proteins. They utilize energy from the hydrolysis of ATP and transport a variety of endogenous and exogenous compounds across the membranes against a concentration gradient. ABC transporters play important role in absorption, distribution and excretion of drugs. Some are able to confer multidrug resistance in cancer cells. Nowadays, to observe expression of ABC transporters on transcription level, it is possible to use several methods as Northern blotting, RNase protection assay, real-time RTPCR and microarray analysis. This thesis summarizes up to date information about quantification of ABC drug transporters. It was found that ABC transporters are expressed in the liver, kidney, gastrointestinal tract, blood-brain barrier, placenta and other tissues.
