Specificity of unit linked life insurance

V rámci diplomové práce je popsán vývoj a základní charakteristiky investičního životního pojištění. Podstatná část práce je věnována samotné konstrukci zmíněného pojistného produktu. Nejprve se zaobírá investiční částí produktu, tedy tématem podílových fondů, oceněním podílových jednotek a strukturou příslušných poplatků. Posléze přechází k části týkající se samotného pojištění a popisuje postup při odvození pojistné částky, pojistného plnění a opět rozebírá strukturu příslušných poplatků. Pozornost je soustředěna taky na moderní metody v pojišťovnictví, které jsou využívány i při konstrukci investičního životního pojištění. Podrobně je rozebírán hlavně profit testing a analýza citlivosti. V závěru jsou popsány specifika trhu investičního životního pojištění ve Velké Británii a v České republice.

Clustering as a Tool of Competitiveness, the Case of the Czech Republic

This paper deals with the issue of clusters as relatively new tools of competitiveness in economies and examines their linkage to state through cluster policies and initiatives. At the beginning, a theoretical development of the concept is presented. Afterwards, the cluster concept as such is introduced, putting down a wide scale of supportive rationales, presenting also possible risks and explaining a linkage to innovation and competitiveness. The second part of the thesis treats the issue of cluster policies as possible means of a cluster creation. Aside from examining cluster policies in different views, an emphasis is put on the justification of the role of state which can take part as either contributive or disturbing factor. The empirical part of the paper presents the case of the Czech clustering. Firstly, the Czech cluster policy is analyzed concerning its targets, instruments, approaches and other relevant issues, focusing on shortcomings and problems of the policy. Further, a case study of the Moravian-Silesian automotive cluster is presented. In this part, the particular cluster is observed with a view to its origin, development and activities. The endeavor is to compare the case with the classical Porter model and find out its inadequacies.

Employees job satisfaction analysis on company's branches

The goal of this thesis was to define the basic terms of the problems of job satisfaction and to make the job satisfaction analysis in the chosen company, which name will be not published , because of the inside information protection. The necessary data for the analysis were obtained via questionnaire, in which took part 122 employees from 13 different branches. Respondents were divided into three groups according to the performed work position and the intensity of the contact with clients. Results of research were processed for each individual group. It allows to catch better the differences in the group satisfaction. On a basis of results were pointed out the most problematic areas and suggested concrete steps, which could lead to job satisfaction increase in researched branches.

The goal of bachelor's thesis is to analyze quality of life children wiht hydrocephalus with installation ventricle-peritoneal shunt. In the thesis there are given detais on problems, which arise from leave hospital and treatment at home. Thesis inqure problem 's influence on quality of life illness children and their families. A quantitative oservational study is made of questionnaire that include 9 parts about future children 's life. Physical effort was researched on diseased children from neurosurgery clinic.

Housing cooperatives from the perspective of law, accounting and tax

This diploma thesis aims to assess the issue of housing cooperatives in terms of law, accounting and tax. The part relating to law is based on Business Corporations Act and the new Civil Code. Using the coherent application example, the work tries to show the specifics related to housing associations in the field of tax and accounting, which include settlement of advances, billing advances for the normal operation of cooperati-ves, billing additional membership contributions and repair fund. In parts relating to taxes is pointed to obligations arising from tax laws. For this thesis was determined following hypothesis: Rent from members of the cooperative to cover the cost of normal operation is accounted through profit or loss.

People with Disabilities on the Labour Market in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the issue of persons with disabilities in the labor market in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part explains the concepts related to persons with disabilities in terms of the labor market and their employment legislation and also explain all the tools employment aid these people. In the practical part of the thesis deals with the comparison of the advantages and disadvantages of persons with disabilities and through its own research among employers are trying to determine what the position of these persons in the Czech labor market and attempts to suggest changes to improve the current situation.

Analýza motivace a spokojenosti v podniku Europrint

The thesis focuses on summarising the basic theoretical knowledge in the field of motivation and job satisfaction. It further analyses motivation and satisfaction in the selected company, aiming to determine the level of employee motivation and satisfaction. It identifies factors of dissatisfaction and suggests possible solutions to problem areas on the basis of the data. The analysis was carried out on the production staff of Europrint stock company. Survey metodology to research this area was by way of questionnaire survey. The respondents answered questions about routine matters, labour conditions and wage, working conditions and environment, management and relationships in the workplace.

Employability of graduates of the University of Economics, Prague and their quality assessment of acquired higher education

This diploma thesis deals with the employability of graduates of the University of Economics, Prague (UE) and their quality assessment of acquired higher education based on REFLEX 2013 survey. The first part of this thesis is focused on theoretical concepts and statistical methods that are subsequently used in analytical part. The analytical part contains analysis of UE graduates employability and the quality assessment of acquired higher education. The aim of this diploma thesis is to provide answers on whether there is a relationship between studied faculty and job classification or which factors affect the monthly wage level using the multidimensional statistical methods. The thesis also deals with the graduates evaluation of acquired knowledge applicability and practical usability in future career.

Fundamental analysis of Erste Bank

This bachelor thesis deals with fundamental analysis of Erste Bank's shares on the Prague Stock Exchange. The first chapter analyses the influence of macroeconomic variables on development of the stock index. In the second chapter attention is paid to banking sector, therefore how its development can influence share price. The last chapter deals with corporate analysis, which using various methods calculates the share's intrinsic value. Based on these partial analyzes is derived investment recommendation relating to Erste Bank shares in conclusion.

Attitudes toward social system securing – November 2016

In November 2016 CVVM included in regular research questions on social policy. Questions investigated opinions of the czech public connected to the involvement of the state and the citizens themselves to funding the sphere of social policy. Other questions focused on whether the current distribution of responsibilities is divided equally between state and citizens. Finally, we were interested in opinion on the fair distribution of benefits and abuse of the social security system.
