Trčková, Květa ; Světlíková, Božena (referee) ; Černíková, Helena (advisor)
The thesis deals with the problems of ethics. After a general introduction the contents focuses on professional ethics and ethical codices in particular. At first it maps the usage of ethical codices as tools of personal control at a profit sector, and then it moves its attention to the non-profit sector. The main topic of the study lies in the existence, necessity and usage of ethical codices in the educational system and in the primary education in particular. In the research part the author puts forward several assumptions about the ethical codex of teachers and by critical observation tests its verity. By analyzing the obtained results, the author reaches the conclusion that there are no given ethical codices at the Czech elementary schools, although head teachers consider its existence as necessary and are conscious of its role as a potential operating tool at several areas. Although the research shows that the head teachers know where to look for the information in the field of professional ethics, at the last part of the thesis the author offers several resources helpful for the creation of ethical codices. The work may serve as an initial point for subsequent steps of implementing ethical codices of teachers at elementary schools.

Understanding Concrete Environment in Geographical Education Research

The aim of this thesis is being reached by using a qualitative research methodology. The thesis builds on the initial investigation, focused on the question to which extend do pupils of grade 7th - 9th (upper primary school) are able to use their classroom knowledge on landscape in the field to understand/read concrete environment. In search for a geographical attitude while reading the landscape, four groups (two groups of geography graduates, geography teachers and a control group) were asked to find and come up with a solution in summing up the best way to perceive and read landscape. Diploma thesis consists of four parts. The first one presents definition of landscape and theoretical base to empirical research. The second one is description of my own field program and discussion of its aim and results. The third one describes qualitative research project including suitable methodology along with the description of the respondent choice, the structure of the questioning as well as the way of data collection and data analysis. The last one is focused on analyzing, comparing and summing up the results. Data have been worked up in qualitative analyzing software MAXQDA...

One of the main notions of private law system - conclusions of commercial transactions - belong to those human activities that have achieved a high level of complexity and have long-reaching consequences. The often present a long process with the necessity of incurring substantial investment. In the second subsection of the first chapter, we discuss the theory of pre-contractual liability, which was deduced from Roman law by the German legal scholar Rudolf von Jhering. In the second chapter an attempt is undertaken to explore the contents of the primary obligations of pre-contractual liability, or in other words the concept of objective good faith as it is applied to contractual...

Gait and balance disorders in Parkinson's disease - comparison of two different methods of physiotherapy
Kříž, Petr ; Hoskovcová, Martina (advisor) ; Matolínová, Vendula (referee)
Title: Gait and balance disorders in Parkinson's disease - comparison of two different methods of physiotherapy Abstract: This thesis is concerned with the problematics of balance therapy applied to patients with Parkinson disease. The aim of the theoretical part is to briefly describe contemporary knowledge about this problem. The aim of the practical part is then to compare the level of postural stability before and after the therapy applied to those patients, that consider postural stability as their main problem. To assess postural stability problems, following tests were used: computerized Sensory Organization Test, MINI BESTest, UPDRS and measurements of knee flexion and extension. One patient underwent a balance training in the gym according to methodical row of sensory motor stimulation, another two patients underwent balance therapy on the SMART Balance Master®, all of them in the scale of 10 therapies during 5-7 weeks. In the intraindividual comparation, all patients have reached an overall improvement of their postural stability. The amount of steady state stability has not changed (according to the methods used). Proactive stability has improved in one case, the stability of gait has improved in two cases. Key words: Parkinson's disease, postural instability, physiotherapy, balance training,...

Learning for Classical Planning
Chrpa, Lukáš ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Železný, Filip (referee) ; Berka, Petr (referee)
This thesis is mainly about classical planning for artificial intelligence (AI). In planning, we deal with searching for a sequence of actions that changes the environment from a given initial state to a goal state. Planning problems in general are ones of the hardest problems not only in the area of AI, but in the whole computer science. Even though classical planning problems do not consider many aspects from the real world, their complexity reaches EXPSPACE-completeness. Nevertheless, there exist many planning systems (not only for classical planning) that were developed in the past, mainly thanks to the International Planning Competitions (IPC). Despite the current planning systems are very advanced, we have to boost these systems with additional knowledge provided by learning. In this thesis, we focused on developing learning techniques which produce additional knowledge from the training plans and transform it back into planning do mains and problems. We do not have to modify the planners. The contribution of this thesis is included in three areas. First, we provided theoretical background for plan analysis by investigating action dependencies or independencies. Second, we provided a method for generating macro-operators and removing unnecessary primitive operators. Experimental evaluation of this...

Vašíček, Václav ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Matějovský, Jan (referee)
Enterprise Architecture is so far the highest development step in IT's architectural description of enterprises. At the beginning, just technological architecture existed. However, with the quickly growing complexity of IT other domains occurred, that had to be described. Information or application architectures can serve as examples. IT then realized, that it needed to add to its IT architectures a business view and consequently the discipline Enterprise Architecture came into being. Strategic management is crucial for the development of each enterprise. The thesis focuses on the strategic management of business and the strategic management of IT. The strategic management of business consists of a business strategy and an operating model. To the strategic management of IT then belongs an information strategy and IT governance. Business-IT alignment further explores and ensures the accord between the strategic management of business and the strategic management of IT. The aim of the thesis is to describe the relationship of Enterprise Architecture and the different forms of strategic management and to express to which rate Enterprise Architecture supports them. The explored relationships are: - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and business strategy - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and operating models - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and information strategy - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and IT governance - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and business-IT alignment The goals of the thesis are reached via theoretical research and subsequent deduction. The author's personal asset consists of creating a hierarchical model of Enterprise Architecture, of defining Enterprise Architecture's reaction to business strategies, of modifying the methodology MMDIS in respect of information strategy, of depicting, how Enterprise Architecture can be used in IT governance, of illustrating, where Enterprise Architecture contributes to business-IT alignment and of assessing, to which rate Enterprise Architecture supports the different forms of strategic management.
