Applying of marketing tools in chosen firm

Goal of the work is to evaluate use of marketing tools in particular organization and eventually to recommend changes in current marketing activities. Object of research is Centrum pobytových a terénních služeb Zbůch. Theoretical part was based on a professional literature study and the problematics of marketing management and marketing mix individual tools are described here in detail. The work further addresses differences in marketing of a non-profit and commercial companies. It describes marketing specifics related to this area and the very meaning of marketing management in companies whose goal is not a profit. Second part is dedicated to own solutions. It describes concrete subject, real use of marketing mix and its evaluation. The subject of choice is a non-profit organization providing social services. Its marketing mix is different and expanded by tools related to this sphere. Basic 4P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) are amended by tools People, Physical environment and Partnership. Usage details of individual tools are acquired by studying internal documents and publicly accessible informations. The results arising from marketing mix usage in chosen subject and from satisfaction survey of individual users are stated in the conclusion. Based on it is disproved assumption that if individual areas of marketing mix will be analyzed, the tools that dont get enough attention will be found and improved towards company goals.

Evaluation as an effective tool of school management

The process of evaluation and self-evaluation is one of the effective means of maintaining and improving the quality of educational activities. This thesis deals with the theme of quality and evaluation. Key concepts are explained and defined, executive role in the development of quality is formulated and basic parts of the strategic quality plan are introduced. Further, objectives of self-evaluation and phases of the process are named and explained. Methods for detecting climate of the educational process, resources and school management are described and analyzed. Research methods of observation, questionnaires and structured interviews are required to ensure the principle of triangulation. All inquiries are carried out in cooperation with the management of specific schools and teaching staff. Observed data is analyzed and expressed conclusions will be discussed with the school management. This will provide valuable information that might be used by the school management personnel in other phases of a qualified school-as-an-educational institution management in order to ensure efficient decision-making process.

Municipal Development Programme for the village of Nedrahovice as a source document for formulating its spatial plan

The diploma thesis concerns the Nedrahovice Municipal Development Programme as a source document for formulating its spatial plan. In the opening, the concept of spatial planning and planning legislation are defined, followed by the history of spatial planning and specific legal regulations until the present. The following chapters describe the main objectives and tasks of the spatial planning, its basic subjects and spatial planning tools under the current legislation; the work further analyzes the contents and formulating of the particular spatial plan. In addition, the theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to the municipal strategic planning and its strategic document called Municipal Development Programme. The work continues the description of the document characteristics, its particulars and contents at a general level and compares the document with the specific Municipal Development Programme for Nedrahovice 2014-2020. The project part of the work deals with the Nedrahovice strategic document, its contents, shortcomings and errors. With reference to the critical analysis conducted, the thesis offers addition of the missing passages or deletion of the parts incorrectly inserted in the document. The spatial plan proposal is further elaborated in the project part of the thesis. The proposed spatial plan draft for Nedrahovice is based on the data provided in its Municipal Development Programme; the proposal also responds to its formal and content shortcomings. The thesis is concluded by pointing to the specific problems concerning the municipality strategic document where it serves as a basis for formulating spatial plan, it also points out on how the spatial plan shortcomings can affect the plan contents.

The Local Action Group (LAG) Říčansko as a tool for rural development in the region

The thesis contains an evaluation of LAG as a tool for development of the rural region. The default hypothesis is that the LAG Říčansko has of its region and the influence of this effect can be evaluated positively. It followed the trends and developments in the field of rural development with a focus on the LEADER approach. Furthermore, for the final evaluation analyzes the structure of the LAG, the selection of supported projects and the implementation of cooperation projects. Part of the work is devoted to the characteristics and the current situation in the region LAG Říčansko. As a basis for the design of projects in problematic areas include a description of activities of some foreign LAG in Germany and Austria. The aim is achieved through interviews with workers LAG Říčansko and compares its structure and focus of the recommended and mandatory requirement for LAG. It was also the focus of supported projects compared with regard to problem areas in the region. The main part of the job evaluation LAG was a questionnaire survey among inhabitants of the region, partners and holders LAG regional brand Zápraží original product, which was focused on knowledge of the activities of the LAG and satisfaction with the treatment. Economic efficiency projects LAG was assessed using a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) of the selected project. Due to the nature of the project, its methodology was amended and as a result of its work is proposed for evaluating the effectiveness of cooperative projects using space CBA cost utility analysis (CUA). Knowledge about the work of LAG Říčansko are summarized in the conclusion that the MAS Říčansko has on the region a positive effect. Conclusion also includes the realization that this fact is only sustainable if the LAG will respond to changes in the region and its activities will involve local stakeholders in all sectors in sufficient representation.

The Development of the Party System in the Russian Federation

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the development of the party system in the Russian Federation to determine whether this development can be applied to the classical theory of political parties and party systems designed by european political scientists. In the first chapter there are described theories designed by Maurice Duverger, Jean Blondel, Stein Rokkan and Giovanni Sartori. In the second chapter there is the description of the beginning of the party system in Tsarist Russia. Its task is to draw the options and foundations of the first political party in that territory. The third chapter focuses to the reign of the CPSU, the tools of its government and the reasons for the gradual weakening of its power. The fourth chapter is divided into two parts, the first of which describes the development of the party system in Russia since the fall of the USSR, the second part deals with the comparison of theoretical concepts mentioned in the first chapter and the actual development in Russia.

Implementation of lean manufacturing and application of Kaizen management in small and middle company

The thesis deals with the application of the Lean manufacturing and Kaizen ma-nagement in processes of production and logistics management and selected tools and techniques of lean manufacturing and Kaizen management. The research of the imple-mentation of the Lean manufacturing was conducted at the production departments of the company. It is necessary to involve the processes principles.We can say, that the introduction of lean manufacturing principles and application of Kaizen management is a significant competitive advantage. The aim of tools supporting the implementation of the principles of the Lean manufacturing and Kaizen management is the elimination of wasting, improving response to customer´s demands. The keeping of the principles of company culture with the transition from the concept company to concept my (our) company. These principles are applicable to systems in the mass production and the small batch production. The some methods and tools are applicable in the area of services and public administration. We can say, that into each activity can be found reserves which are wasting about the Lean manufacturing. We are able to reduce or eli-minate them with use right tools. The subject of research are a never-ending changes the set up manufacturing processes during the implementation of Lean manufacturing and next application of Kaizen management. The changes which were done was not concern only for new set of material flow, workplace layout, leveling and optimization work, but also changes focused to thinking of people who are involved in these changes or the changes affecting them. To evaluace of the success and applicability of the newly introduced methods were set up measurable indicators and methodology of their eva-luation. The results which are presented are important for the company where the re-search was conducted. The outputs is important for other companies and recommen-dations of general application can help their further development and help to futher de-velop scientic knowledges.

The dog and its effect on the human psyche

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a scientific research which is both comprehensive and current on the topic Dogs and their influence on human mental health. The first part is about general usage of dogs in animal-assisted therapy. The history of the mutual relationship between people and dogs is mentioned briefly, including not only domestication of dogs but also the first utilization of dogs in animal-assisted therapy. Further there are different methods of animal-assisted therapy, which can be divided into activities (AAA), therapy (AAT), education (AAE) and animal assisted crisis response (AACR). Coherent conception of education as we know from other fields is still missing in canistherapy as well as unification of testing rules for dogs used in canistherapy. The mentioned levels of therapists qualifications and testing rules for dogs in canistherapy in this thesis are based on a non-profit organisation Pomocné tlapky o.p.s. The second part of this work is focused on dogs influence on human mental health in different diseases and stages of life. Dogs can have an important role in infants emotional development including self-confidence growth, independence and empathy. Dog assisted therapy is proven to be useful for improving psychosocial adaptation of young people in institutional treatment, who suffer from psychosocial problems caused by a traumatic experience from childhood. Dogs can help to stimulate speech development in autistic children, support social interactions as well as both verbal and nonverbal behaviour. Dog assisted therapy was designed as a care complement for patients with posttraumatic stress disorder because it is well known that dogs have positive influence on reducing stress and anxiety. As anxiety is a key schizophrenia feature, dog assisted therapy is also beneficial when treating this disease. AAT application is used for aphasia patients to aim at their desire to communicate, improving their mood and decreasing their feelings of loneliness. Animal assisted intervention (AAI) is also one of the methods designed to improve life quality of geriatric patients. AAI is used as an innovative means to improve mental health in geriatric patients. Dogs also represent big psychological support in oncology patients and make healing process easier. Dogs support feelings of Calmness, wellbeing and safety during hospitalization. As emerged from many studies, dogs have positive influence on human mental health and due to this it is beneficial to include dog assisted intervention as a complementary method within complex rehabilitation.

Oligopolistic Competition among Telephones Operators (including International Comparison)

The subject of this thesis is the analysis of oligopolistic competition in the market of mobile telecommunications services in the Czech Republic in comparison with the neighboring country Germany. This thesis describes the behavior of companies in the telecommunications market in the Czech Republic and Germany and all members associated with them. The theoretical part of the thesis describes and analyzes in detail the oligopoly models. Its structures are precisely defined and the differences between the various models explained. And also, this part focuses on the competence and activities of the Czech Telecommunications Office and the Office for the Protection of Competition. It shows the important changes that have occurred in recent years in the context of these organs came, showing in which direction the market is evolving and identifies tools to help authorities intervene in the competitive environment of the market. In the analytical part there are characterized a specific telephone operators on the territory of the Republic with the focus on their rivalry with the problems of competitors in Germany, in order to predict the development in the near future. As a special area defined virtual operators and their specific market environment is defined relative to its specificity.

CRM as a supporting marketing tool

The aim of this paper is to characterize software solution of CRM system BlueJet, product of the Compekon software company and evaluate its benefits for business companies which are using it. The next aim was to find out problems of these companies which were solved by using the system, conduct cost-benfit analysis in selected company and propose some recomendation for extending the profit of Compekon company.These objectives have been met.

Monetary policy and central banking in the Czech Republic

The subject of my thesis is characteristic of central banking and monetary policy, conducted by the Czech National Bank in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part is divided into three main chapters. The first of these chapters describes central banking, indicates its basic characteristics and functions. The second chapter is more focused on the monetary policy of the Czech National Bank and its nature. There are also defined the various monetary policy tools and their use. The third chapter contains a description of basic macroeconomic indicators and models. Analytical part is also divided into several chapters that describe several aspects of the development of the Czech economy in recent years. The first one contains the characteristics of the Czech economy in terms of sector structure. The second chapter focuses on the development of key macroeconomic data, the inflation and GDP. The third chapter provides an analysis of the development of the selected monetary instruments. In the last chapter, the data will be will evaluated and subjected to paired analysis.
