Automatické třídění pošty pro IMAP servery
Kulič, Luboš ; Obdržálek, David (referee) ; Bednárek, David (advisor)
Number of received e-mail messages is growing explosively which forces users to classify them into several categories. In the presented work we introduce a tool called Apofis, which helps users to automate their routine every-day work with IMAP mailbox by sorting new messages for them and also by step-by-step creating of new rules based on their behaviour, while it still lets the user create, edit or delete the rules and thus affect the process of sorting and learning effectively. Two-level system of sorting rules is introduced - final rules, which the application uses to sort, and potential rules, which have been created according to user's behaviour and are waiting for more successes to prove their usability. Two potential rule learning algorithms were designed - the basic algorithm, fast but not accurate for some cases, and the advanced algorithm, which improves the accuracy by creating a new rule based on condition relevances determined from the organization of the whole mailbox. This thesis contains the most important facts and decisions about the design and implementation of the application and its algorithms.

Death in the media nowadays and twenty years ago
STAVRAKI, Arina
This bachelor thesis deals with death in media nowadays and twenty years ago. Some articles were chosen from Lidové noviny and Mladá fornta DNES newspapers issued in 1990, 1991, 2010 and 2011. Those articles described tragic events when somebody died. These topics were divided into the following subcategories: death in a car accident, train collisions, earthquakes, murders, suicides, death of an important person, restoring the death penalty, abortion and euthanasia. The chosen articles were afterwards analysed and compared. Firstly, the thesis analyses 1990 and 1991 articles and consequently evaluates this chosen period. Then followed the analysis of the 2010 and 2011 articles. The final evaluation of the work consists of the particular comparison of the articles on the same, similar or completely different events within twenty years. This bachelor thesis maps view changes of these events in journalism within the given period in terms of style of informing readers about tragic events and also the increased rate of death reporting in general

Education towards respect to the elderly
Klevetová, Dana ; Pelikán, Jiří (advisor) ; Votavová, Milada (referee) ; Lorenzová, Jitka (referee)
We have been on the threshold of 21 century, where the structure of population is to be changed because of the decrease in natality, longer life expectancy and increase in number of advanced age people. For the first time in humankind history there are going to be four age categories, which have not realised their mutual roles yet. Contemporary family has been changing its structure and mutual family relationships. The state has taken control of some family functions so senior population has released its juniors from duties and the middle age generation neither feel the responsibility to prepare for their own old age or induce their children to respect the great age. There is a character of current society of hard individualism, the wish to get graduated, having their own life styles. The ability to understand people his or her need to live with somebody has disappeared. Hence it is quite difficult to achieve good relationships. The love for a man and understanding of the differences of the others has faded out somewhere. The old people are losing their dignity and feeling endangered of the time where they live. They stress inconvenient society nature and instructional patterns for contemporary youth. The upbringing is one of the basic social functions that are based on forming individuals and their...

Integration of parents into the care of critically ill child from the perspective of nurse
MULAČOVÁ, Romana
Nowadays the parental presence in the pediatric intensive care units (PICU) is quite common. Building a fellowship between parents and health care staff and high quality parents' integration into the care is a very demanding process. First of all, the success of this process largely depends upon the nurse. It is the very nurse who leads, educates, supports and also professionally integrates parents into their child's care. In addition, critically ill child's care in cooperation with parents is complicated by a high parental stress level, child's serious condition and high professional and technical requirements posed to the nurse. The graduation thesis concentrates on the parents' integration into the care of a critically ill child from the nurse's point of view. The goal of this thesis was to describe the general conditions of parents' integration into the critically ill child's care and to map the actual state of the cooperation within the nurse ? parent ? critically ill child relation from the nurse's point of view. Other goals included the analysis of nurse's feeling of readiness for work with parents of critically ill children, and elaboration of a booklet concerning the initial introduction of an intensive care and resuscitation unit for infants and older children for better parents' awareness. In the research part of the thesis a qualitative research was used. The data collection technique was a semi-standardized interview. A research sample was represented by seven nurses working in the sphere of the critically ill children care in four selected hospitals in the Czech Republic. The study took place in the period starting May 2011 till July 2011. The research results revealed that the parental integration conditions are not quite optimal. First of all, in this sphere the nurses pointed to a limited accommodation capacity for parents, lack of supporting services and unsatisfactory site layout of the intensive care units. The nurses expressed their readiness to the closer cooperation with critically ill children's parents in the basic nursing sphere, mostly, thereafter, in the sphere of hygiene care. The parental cooperation in the special-care sphere was accepted rather negatively by the respondents. As the research results show, most of the nurses consider the work with parents psychologically very demanding and during their school education they had never been prepared for it by anybody. Findings flowing from the research results gave birth to the information booklet that is a basic informational and educational material for parents of children admitted to the intensive and resuscitation care unit for older children and infants in Hradec Králové University Teaching Hospital. It also represents a detailed instruction for a similar material for other facilities of this type and, last but not least, it facilitates the whole process of initial parents' education for nurses. This graduation thesis can also assist in the education of children's nurses, help students and nurses working with critically ill children's parents understand the "Family-centered care" principles and their practical introduction.

Advanced HDR image viewer
Wirth, Michal ; Křivánek, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Wilkie, Alexander (referee)
04.01.17 abstract.txt 1 file:///home/misa/Desktop/dp/abstract.txt The primary purpose of this thesis is to determine criteria for a high- dynamic range (HDR) image viewer accented by computer graphics artists and other users who work with HDR images produced by physically-based renderers on a daily basis. Also an overview of already existing solutions is present. Based on both of them, a new HDR viewer is designed and implemented giving an emphasis on its memory and performance efficiency. For these purposes two alternative image data layouts, Array-of-Structures (AoS) and Structure-of-Arrays (SoA), are discussed and their impact is measured on the speed of an algorithm for changing image saturation which has been selected as a representative part of whole tone mapping process of the viewer. It has turned out that the latter type of layout allows the algorithm to run about 3 times faster or more under the conditions of a defined testing environment. The thesis has two main contributions. First it gives the above users a tool which could help them when working with HDR images. Second it indicates that there may be a potential of significant speed-up of implementations of tone mapping algorithms.

Application statistical methods for estimation customer lifetime value
Samuseva, Katsiaryna ; Vraná, Lenka (advisor) ; Sobíšek, Lukáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis pay attention on statistical methods managing relationship with customers and different approaches of estimation customer lifetime value for the company in long time period. It is an empirical type of bachelor thesis, where we will test the theoretical assumptions on the real data. During this paper we research and measure customers behavior in order to obtain quantitative outputs to adaptation marketing strategy, efficient allocation of resources and choosing key clients. On the basis of past and present behavior we simulate expected in future level of purchasing behavior and thus try to determine the most profitable target groups for high-quality application of marketing tools. Main purposes of thesis are describing various attitudes to modeling CLV, applying the model Pareto/NBD on real date of the company Práce pro Vás, to evaluate forecast applicability in practice. Following tasks will be resolved in this paper: to introduce advantages and disadvantages of each modeling CLV approach, to evaluate quality of Pareto/NBD model and to determine the advanced extensions of the research in this issue. There are various attitudes to estimation of CLV, which are described in theoretical chapters, but practical part of this paper focuses primarily on application of probability model Pareto/NBD. With the help of Pareto/NBD managers can get the information about future customers activity, i.e. expected number of transactions from real behavior a probability that customer will be active in observation period. In nowadays reality of overloaded market, almost in every business sector, every company should rely on quantitative base of marketing and choose target clients, on which to focus their marketing efforts. Exactly this need matches with described and applied in this bachelor thesis model Pareto/NBD, with it help we will estimate customer lifetime value for strategic decisions and managing relationship with customers. Finally, we will resolve continuous tasks and will achieve all the determined goals.

Comparison of lump sum expenses in certain countries
Nguyenová, Chu Hong Minh ; Finardi, Savina (advisor) ; Vančurová, Alena (referee)
Lump sum expenses were firstly introduced in the Czech Republic in 1993. Unlike other countries of European union, Czech Republic leads a very generous policy and allows their tax payers to deduct very high percentage of revenues as their costs. Although it may seem that by this method, the government is losing money that could go to treasury, the original intent was to help small businesses to lower their administrative costs and at the same time simplify the process for tax administrators. Nowadays the actual lump sum expenses are however used as the instrument of fiscal support for the businessmen.
