Jan Petránek and his position in the media. A biographical study.

The master thesis Jan Petránek and his position in media. A biographical study. is describing life and publishing activities of journalist Jan Petránek. Text is dedicated to extensive period of time, from the birth of Petránek in 1931 up to the current year 2016. In each chapter, you can find foreword describing political and social context, which influenced not only Czechoslovakia Radio but the journalist himself. The used key methodology was oral history, conversations with Jan Petránek, research and work with the archived materials from National Archive in Prague and Archive of Czechoslovakia Radio. The biggest emphasis is focused on Petránek's work in Czechoslovakia Radio, he started to work there in 1951 until 1970, when he was fired for his activity in anti-occupation broadcasts in 1968. In the thesis, you can find information about his family, signature of Charta 77, activity in Lidové noviny and in the company Šanson - věc veřejná, established to support self-immolation of Jan Palach. Taking into account, that Jan Petránek until today, 2016, is still external contributor in Czech Radio and often guest in television programs, last chapter is dedicated to his activity after fall of communistic regime in 1989. This master's thesis is focused on the problems of financing of buying warehouse of company which is specialized on domestic and international logistics, stock-keeping, customs declaration and collecting services CS Expres. It consists of possibilities of financing analysis, comparation of proper options of financing, prediction of the interest rate development of 1M PRIBOR till the half of the year 2011, prediction of the cash flows and proposals for optimal way of acquisition of the warehouse.

Experimental design of asphalt mixtures

The diploma thesis is focused on an experimental design of low-noise asphalt mixtures. The theoretical part describes the problems of noise and methods for noise measurements. There are also specified the characteristics of various low-noise asphalt mixtures. The practical part addresses the experimental design of SMA 8 LA. Subsequently, the mixture is exposed to functional testing and the results are afterwards compared with the conventional type of stone mastix asphalt SMA 8 S. The second part is focused primarily on an experimental mixture design of a specific asphalt mixture type - coated macadam. There is especially solved the issue ofbinder drainage and the proportion of cracked grains during the compaction. The advantage of this mixture is the lower price demands cause by lower binder content and a smaller amount of fine aggregate. This mixture should be used as a base layer for low-loaded (traffic) roads. In the conclusion are thereafter evaluated the knowledge and the experience with the testing and designing of individual mixtures gained during the testing.

Consumer protection in the European Union

This thesis is focused on consumer protection in the European Union with a special emphasis on online shopping. The first section defines the term 'consumer protection', its development, institutional support, instruments and financing. Also, this part describes the digital market of the European Union, hindrances to the growth of online shopping as well as strategies which are created in order to form a digital single market in the European Union. The second section focuses on protection of personal data, alternative dispute resolutions, current legislation regarding consumers rights on internet and new proposals from the European Commission. The new proposals dominate the second part of this thesis and are discussed with an expert. A survey has been conducted to find out more about the Czech experience with problem solving when shopping online. Moreover, this thesis does not leave out court orders from the European Union´s Court of Justice which have led to the uniform application and interpretation of the consumer protection in the European Union.

Dark Web: Black market on the internet and its impact on the Czech national economy in the years 2011-2015

The main goal of this thesis is to analyse the influence of the Dark Web on the national economy of the Czech Republic between the years 2012 and 2014. The term 'the Dark Web' and basic elements, which are related to the internet black market, are analysed in the theoretical part of the thesis. The practical part of the thesis contains the estimation of the impact of the Dark Web on the national economy, particularly on national accounts, and other macroeconomic indicators such as GDP, tax colletion, the size of the grey market and the black market, employment and exchange rates. The estimation is based on the available data from both the Czech Republic and abroad. Time periods, in which the mentioned macroeconomic indicators from the Czech Republic are affected, are determined at end of the thesis. By using available data, it is possible to prove the influence of the Dark Web on the Czech national economy and on the mentioned macroeconomic indicators. For example, in 2014, the Dark Web accounted for less than 9 per mille of the GDP of the Czech Republic. Another conclusion is that the Dark Web contributed less than 0,1 % to the grey economy, and less than 2 % to the illegal economy. The internet black market accounted for nearly 8 per mille of the revenue of social security and health insurance.

Oceňování a hodnota značky vybrané společnosti

Práce se zabývá postupy a metodami oceňování nehmotných aktiv podnikajících subjektů v současné praxi. Teoreticky zpracovává žádoucí taktiky budování a správy značky, definuje její hodnotu s použitím pohledů různých autorů, které srovnává a poukazuje na zásadní vlivy a charakteristiky sílu a význam značky podporující. Řeší systémy, role, hierarchii, úkol i cíle značky, upozorňuje na vzájemné vazby nehmotných aktiv. Cílem práce bylo na základě teoretického pojednání a seznámení se s metodikou oceňování značek provést ocenění značky vybrané společnosti Agroslužby CZ, a.s., připravit formální náležitosti pro zápis do rejstříku obchodních známek Společenství a tak přispět marketingovou analýzou k orientaci a vyhodnocení situace dané společnosti, zmínit slabé stránky, které by měly být eliminovány, zvýraznit silné, které se i přes mnohé vnější nepříznivé intervence podařilo společnosti dosáhnout a jako výhody použít. Analýza a celkové vyhodnocení vznikalo se svolením a aktivní spoluprací vlastníků a manažerů společnosti, kteří s ohledem na růst a plánovanou fúzi projevili zájem o výsledky tohoto zjišťování a předložené závěry, návrhy a doporučení chápou jako impuls k dalším, lépe orientovaným reakcím na chování trhu, na požadavky zákazníků. Znalost úrovně vnímání společnosti, pozice vůči konkurentům, je výchozím a nezbytným bodem pro kvalitnější plánování a další rozvoj marketingových podpůrných aktivit.

Analysis of men and woman´s position in selected sectors of the national economy

This thesis is closely focused on gender issues in terms of employment in sectors of national economy in the Czech Republic and the Moravian-Silesian Region. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and definitions relating to gender, national economy and time series. In this work the progress of women and mens employment is monitored in Agriculture, forestry and fishing, Public administration and defense, as well as in the sector of Health and social care and Education. Predictions are made by using selected methods from the field of time series. The analysis is done on the basis of available data from the Czech Statistical Office in the period from 1993 to 2015. The final section focuses on the proposals and recommendations for future development.

In theoretic Part of this Work are specified Allowance Organization within the Framework of National Economy with the emphasis on specific Function of Public Sector and Public Goods. Briefly are described both Types of Allowance Organization and how works theirAccounting. Specific Properties are showed off in Comparison with other Business Subjects.
In practical Part is firstly described particular Allowance Organization ZŠ a MŠ Dolní Břežany forward for the historical Development and forward for the inner Workings, including personal Workforce. There is also specified Key Uneconomic Activity (Education), witch depends on Institutor and Economic Aktivity. For Economy Analysis are used Budget Report Cash-Flow in particular Years, Balance Report taking into most important Items of Financing and Profit and Loss Account separately for Key Uneconomic Activity and Economic Activity.
ZŠ a MŠ Dolní Břežany belongs in last Years to rapidly developing Schools with trying to improve Quality of Education and School is succesfull in that besides because of Projects from European Unit. School is trying to improve also Internal Functioning, which relates with Improving Accounting, which is investigated. Potential Suggestions and Recommendations and Conclusions are in the End of the Work.

Danish TV System

The author of this thesis is dealing with danish TV system. He is focusing on it´s historical developement, structure, regulation, way of financing and on it´s most important players. He analyses the literature works of danish professional authors and primary sources, like websites and presentations of included institutions. The author creates current and broad picture of danish TV in 2016, of it´s mechanisms and elements. Then, he compares his findings with system of czech TV´s, which may seem same functional as danish from an external point of view , but it´s nation and international succeeds are imcomparable.
