Child exposure in a problematic family environment
Šustková, Lucie ; Vítečková, Michaela (referee) ; Koťa, Jaroslav (advisor)
Life and internal family structure is influenced by many factors. Family is implanted into broad social and cultural system. Every individual, in this case parent, falls into daily pressure of problems, which can further influence his behaviour and acting inside of a family. Family is founding themselves in front of countless problems. Each family has different ability to be resistant against problems and to solve them, thus ability to observe its functions. In case of repetitive and permanent failure to perform one or more of function, family has negative influence on child life and its evolution. Child can be endangered by improper parental educational activity, which means improper educational style. Among the most serious problems endangering child from the physical, mental and moral side, belongs physical and mental maltreatment, sexual violation. Overall negative behaviour of family onto a child influences him undesirably in his actual situation as well as in his future life. Educator, who is nearly in daily contact with child, can be at help to endangered child in several aspects. First of all he should be able to recognize endangered child at classroom and undertake him primary assistance. The relationship between the teacher and students should be based on mutual trust and partnership. The educator...

Project Development of Integrated Testing Node
Ženíšek, Jan ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Kolář, Ladislav (referee)
Nowadays the development speed of new software products is a key to success and it is not important whether the aim is to make customer's urges satisfied or get ahead of one's competitors and fill the market gap. Because of the increase of development speed the demands on the saving process of software quality are increasing. There are two types of tools that are supporting the process of software quality assurance. Firstly, we talk about comprehensive testing tools of commercial character that usually include many functions, but their purchase is extremely expensive. On the other hand there are open-source tools that are available for free, they function on many kinds of operating systems and it is possible to modify them. Unfortunately their functions are basically focused on a certain subset of controlling the software quality assurance. Company TRASK solution a.s. has decided to change this current situation, so it asked competence centre Software Quality Assurance at the University of Economics in Prague in order to create Integrated Testing Node (ITN) that would combine the advantages of open-source tools. Moreover, it would offer broad range of functions as commercial solution. The purpose of this thesis is to describe relevant phases of the process of creating the Integrated Testing Node from the factual and methodical point of view. This aim is divided into partial aims included task analysis and the proposal of solving system, open-source products portfolio analysis, choice of the most convenient tools for following integration, choosing the method of information system building, evaluating the feedback from a client and the proposal of future development of this tool. As far as the biggest contribution of this thesis is concerned, it is the realisation of ITN project that can be used during information classes at the University of Economics in Prague. Furthermore, it can be used as the control of software quality in commercial companies.

Global Constraints with Cost
Hejna, Martin ; Čepek, Ondřej (referee) ; Barták, Roman (advisor)
Planning problems are a very important application area for constraint satisfactory problems. Temporal networks are a common way of planning problems representation. In temporal network nodes represent time points and arcs represent time relations. A solution of temporal network means finding such parameters of nodes, that all constraints hold. A nested temporal network, as presented in this thesis, is a special case of the temporal network, which has a restricted structure to be still powerfull for practical use and simultaneously allows using of more effective solving methods. In this thesis nested temporal networks are defined and explored. A polynomial time method for global consistency of alternatives is presented and a proof of NP-completeness for global consistency is demonstrated. If more than one solution exist, it is suitable to have a method for comparing solutions. A common way to accomplish this is price. Usual task is to find solution with minimal price. In the thesis we use the Branch and Bound method with a new filtering algorithm, which exploites the special structure of nested temporal network.

Roman spa and sauna world
Foltýnová, Michaela ; Macháčková, Šárka (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The project deals with the study of recreational facilities named Roman spa and sauna world. A new building has been associated with the proposed aquacenter "Water Temple Brno", which is by its character and by the capacity predestined to be a multifunctional main "water world" in Brno. The aim of this study is to design a wellness center that would cover the capacity requirements resulting from population density of the city of Brno, that would architectural and urban correspond with the site, and last but not least, offering a wide range of comfortable services covering the needs of potential customers. As a result, it was suggested modern wellness center, does not disturb the landscape construction sites, understated building that more than itself prefers landscape scenery around and its design slightly underscores the balance between nature and human work planted in it.

Effect of sampling and storage on larvoscopic results of coprological materials
Lovecký, David ; Lamka, Jiří (advisor) ; Ducháček, Lubomír (referee)
David Lovecky Tutor: Prof. RNDr. Jiři Lamka, CSc. Institute of Pharmocolgy and Toxikology The aim of this thesis was to examine the influence of obtaining and storage of excrement samples on larval investigation results for the European Mouflon or wild-sheep (Ovis musimon). This experiment is justified due to the large variations of results in previous studies that focused on quantitative larval investigation methods. We proceeded in two ways: a. The first method, based on larval science, involved fresh dropping samples collected from areas frequented by mouflon. Based on laboratory measurements, according to Baermann, we came to the conclusion that freezing it for a period of 56 days at a temperature of -11 degrees Celsius had no effect on larval activity. In fact, the number of larva slightly rose even after an eight-week period of continual refrigeration. These results can be linked to the findings of Erhardova, Rysavy and Cabernet. b. The second method was the sampling of excrement from the disemboweled intestines of animals removed from breeding herds. Unfortunately, during this larval science study, we weren't able to obtain a suitable sample along the entire length of the large intestine and our measurements reflected only physiological functions. In short, the further way the excrement from the...

Modulace exprese alfa-synukleinu pomocí působení 5-S-cysteinyldopaminu na buňky lidského neuroblastonu SH-SY5Y: možná úloha katecholthioetherů při neurodegeneraci
Hrabáková, Rita ; Štaud, František (advisor) ; Mladěnka, Přemysl (referee)
-Synuclein is a presynaptic protein which has been demonstrated to be involved in PD etiopathogenesis.It can regulate DA homeostasis by inhibition of TH activity, by regulation of the DAT activity and finally by potential role in vesicular storage. - Synuclein is a natively unfolded protein, which can undergo overexpression and aggregation due to toxic insults or oxidative stress. The aggregation of α-synuclein leads to a loss of function, which in PD neurons may determine a dysregulation of the DA pathways with subsequent excess of cytosolic DA, that can enhance the neurotoxic effect of α-synuclein aggregates. In recent years, a catecholthioether metabolite of DA, 5-S-cysteinyl-dopamine, has been identified in certain dopaminergic regions of the brain, notably the Substantia nigra. Cys-DA seems to have a possible significance as an index of oxidative stress in aging and in neurodegenerative processes and it was recently hypothesized that this substance or its metabolites may be the endogenous neurotoxins responsible for neurodegeneration in PD. Hence, the aim of this experimental work was to determine whether Cys-DA is able to cause overexpression of -synuclein both at transcriptional and translational levels in a cellular model of PD, the human neuroblastoma dopaminergic cell line SH-SY5Y....

The Impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Economic Growth – The Case of Selected Arab Countries
Hodrab, Rami Mohammad Awad ; Maitah, Mansoor (advisor) ; Soukup, Alexandr (referee)
Information and communication technology (ICT), population growth, gross capital formation, Openness, labour and inflation are frequently well-thought-out as important drivers of economic growth for all countries, so as for Arab countries in our case. This study aims to examine the effect of these factors on 18 selected Arab countries economic growth, covering the period from 1995 to 2013, with the main interest of the impact of ICT. The results show positive and significant impact of ICT index (infodensity that represents the capital and labour stock of ICT) for each individual country (except for Djibouti with negative ICT index elasticity and UAE with insignificant impact) ranged from 0.10 for Lebanon to 0.469 point for Qatar. The panel regression results show that ICT positively and significantly affect the whole sample of 18 Arab countries economic growth with 0.108 point, as well as GCF ratio with 0.129 impact, in addition to openness which encounters positive and significant impact with 0.054 point, and inflation with negative significant impact. These results are accommodated with many related studies. Population growth is insignificant to economic growth. The 18 Arab countries are divided into three sub groups according to their infodensity levels. The research results show that there is a relatively large gap between first and second groups of high and intermediate infodensity values in one side and the third group (with low infodensity and GDP per capita values) on the other side. In order to verify further the results of positive and significant impact of ICT on economic growth, a second study model that depends on Cobb-Douglas production function is applied with ICT and non-ICT capital services and labour services. This second model is applied on five Arab countries that covers the period from 1993 to 2014 using ARDL method. The regressed results show a long run equilibrium cointegrated relationship between ICT and non-ICT capital services, in addition to labour services and GDP growth. The results tell a positive and significant elasticity of ICT capital services at short and long run, and this value is more than the ICT capital services compensation share, which indicates ICT spillover in these Arab countries. Labour services impact on GDP growth is positive and significant on long run, but for non-ICT capital services, there is a negative and significant impact. So finally it is worth for the Arab countries to invest more and efficiently in ICT assets, in addition these countries have to efficiently use the available ICT resources.
