Žerava, Zdeněk ; Houdková, Lucie (referee) ; Boráň, Jaroslav (advisor)
The first part of the thesis is focused on the problems related to sludge and evaluates sludge disposal from waste treatment plants. The thesis mentions factors influencing method selection of sludge disposal as well as it compares sludge disposal in the Czech Republic and in the other states of the EU. It deals with sludge disintegration and describes the most effective methods of disintegration. The second part of the thesis describes an experimental part of disintegration of waste treatment sludge. An experiment was conducted in the school laboratory in a way of thermal disintegration in the double-surface pressure tank. The disintegration was conducted to temperatures of 60 °C, 90 °C, 120 °C, 150 °C, and 180 °C. We monitored dependence of the sludge dry residue content on disintegration temperature as well as content of suspended solids in liquid fraction (FUGAT). It was possible to choose optimal temperature of disintegration in accordance with processed results.

Is import of goods from european countries to Czech republic more or less influenced by changes in nominal and real exchange rates than in non european countries?
Vereš, Jan ; Stroukal, Dominik (advisor) ; Slaný, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis analyses the connection between import of goods from foreign countries to Czech Republic and the exchange rate changes. The initial hypothesis of this paper is to prove that the depreciation of domestic currency has positive influence on balance of trade balance. For this purpose there is eight econometric models which were created by using time series from years 2003 to 2016. These models are divided in pairs among four chosen countries. For each country two models were created that follow the development of trade balance between Czech Republic and one of the countries in two different time frames. All the models always use the real effective exchange rate, growth rate of GDP for Czech Republic and growth rate of GDP for one of the countries as explanatory variable. It is connected with the second task of this thesis, which is the analysis of the differences in the behaviour of the models that belong to the countries which are members of the EU and these that are not. The aim is to find out whether the existence of tariffs on imported goods from countries out of the EU causes visible differences in the behaviour of the variables that were included in the models. Based on the outcomes of all eight models the main hypothesis has been proved right for three out of four countries. In the models for Germany, China and France the relation of real exchange rate and trade balance came out as positive in long term, in short term the outcome was ambiguous. The second question of this thesis has been answered, but its added value is questionable. The final models for each state do show some noticeable differences and they can be used to determine if the influence of the change of exchange rates on trade balance is smaller or bigger in the countries where tariffs are used. On the other hand, from the results we can learn that the sample of only four countries is insufficient for the deduction of any conclusions.

Kubeková, Michaela ; Macurová, Alena (advisor) ; Adam, Robert (referee)
This dissertation compares information on personal pronouns provided in grammar books, general linguistic analyses, dictionaries, and other essays and studies dealing with this topic. The first chapter examines seven Czech grammar books, from which information relating to personal pronouns (including spheres which relate only tangentially to personal pronouns, e.g. the formulation of the pronominal subject, the category of grammatical person, deixis, anaphora, the coherence of a text, etc.) is extracted and compared. The second chapter looks at information contained in five general linguistics manuals, and the third chapter is concerned with the information given in the three most popular dictionaries. Information contained in other publications and essays related to the topic of personal pronouns (including several foreign periodicals) is cited in the form of footnotes to the individual chapters. By way of conclusion this dissertation seeks to characterise the main divergences between the individual types of publications examined and summarise the basic differences (or similarities) in their approaches.

Bartončíková, Jaroslava ; Dvořák, Jan (advisor) ; Švestka, Jiří (referee)
90 X. RÉSUMÉ In my work I deal with marriage, specifically with the conditions of its inception and the consequences of its demise. In spite of the fact that the crisis of family and marriage has been discussed extensively in the last years, marriage remains the fundament of a family and a relationship that gives birth to children. The decline of the number of marriages in the Czech Republic can be seen as being caused by the creation of a space for individualization, for free lifestyle, both in men and especially in women. Marriage is no longer regarded as an institution serving the purposes of the whole but in the future should serve mainly to individuals. One of its characteristics is the higher age of people entering into marriage, and the number of people living as lifelong singles has been increasing. Another alternative to marriage, living as partners without entering into marriage, is gaining a prominent position. It could be seen as caused also by adverse economic conditions, the growth of the costs of living, the lack in social welfare, housing etc. It is also characterized by the transition to a one-child family model. Natality has been decreasing, while the ratio of children born outside marriage has been increasing. The divorce rate has likewise been increasing. The stability of marriage,...
