Analysis of the EU regulations in the field of Information and Telecommunication technologies and their effect on the single market

The bachelor thesis describes the EU regulations in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), particularly the Digital agenda for Europe strategy. These regulations are then tested for their influence on the European single market. The major question answered here is whether the EU regulations in field of ICT have a positive impact on the EUs single market. Answer to this question helps us evaluate the ongoing Digital agenda strategy. The impact of the regulations is analysed by induction of the following indicators, international trade, ratio of population buying online, DESI index and NRI index. With this method it is possible to tackle the wide range of fields the Digital agenda covers. I conclude this work with the statement, that European ICT regulations do have a positive impact on the single market, although are problematic due to the slow legislative process and low efficiency in addressing the regulated issue.

We have identified number of possible advices for the Czech Republic to improve its rating for both Heritage Foundation and Fraser Institute Economic Freedom Index, which often leads to top 10 countries in the world. These advices range from cuts in government spending, betterment in judicial system, to the establishing healthier environment for startups and advices to combat corruption. We further noticed some divergence between above mentioned indexes and managed to evaluate those indexes, which showed the simplicity yet usefulness of Heritage EFI and flexibility and sensitivity of the Fraser EFI. Weak sides of the research were noted and ideas for further research were given.

Diagnosis and treatment of the injuries to the permanent teeth

Injuries of the permanent teeth represent extensive and serious problems of dentistry. With the exception of the hard dental tissues, gingiva, periodoncium, dental pulp and alveolar bone are offen affected. The healing of injured teeth depends upon different factors, such as the stage of root development, the presence of bacterial infection in oral cavity and the possible penetration of bacteria or their toxins through the dentinal wall. These factors as well as incorrect treatment can cause posttraumatic complication, which appear immediately after dental trauma or up to several years lato. In this study the evaluation of 384 patients with injuries of the permanent teeth was performed. All these patients were treated in the Dentistry Department of the Faculty Hospital in Pilsen. The aim of the clinical part of the study was the analysis of the epidemiologic data and of the occurrence of posttraumatic consequences in every group of dental injuries. The investigated dates were compared with the dates in the literature. The relation between patient' age, stage of root development, treatment of dental trauma and occurrences of posttraumatic complications has been investigated. The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to create a business plan for a network of coffee kiosks in Prague and evaluate its feasibility. The operational goal is to predict and draw up a financial plan with three variations, reflecting pessimistic, realistic and optimistic view of the anticipated profit, financial situation and cash flow development. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part described the structure of the business plan and the specifics of small and medium-sized companies in detail. The theoretical background is applied to establishing a network of coffee kiosks is in the practical part. The outcome of final thesis is a structured plan for establishing and developing the company in the first year of business, which the author uses as a basic document for implementing enterprise-wide activities.

Fast Food Restaurant Business Plan

The aim of this diploma thesis is to execute a business plan for a business in the field of fast foods. The main goal of the business plan is to evaluate feasibility and practicability of this project. The master thesis is divided into two main sections: a theoretical and practical one. The first part describes the entrepreneurship, small & medium enterprises in Czech Republic and a business plan. Moreover, it focuses on theoretical background that consists of principles, methods and approaches that should be respected when writing a business plan. In addition, it describes parts of a business plan. The second part deals with the business plan for the project itself that is based on the theoretical background. The evaluation of this business idea in terms of its aspects is then provided.

Analysis of success factors of the company

The main goal of the thesis is to analyze a business project TamTam. The partial aim is to confirm respectively to refut the presumptions that were set by the co-founders of the project. Another goal is to evaluate the feasibility of the current strategic plan. If the current strategic plan shows to be unfeasible, an alternative strategic plan with a different business model will be proposed. The theoretical part describes the methods which are used in the practical part. The practical part analyzes the market with Vietnamese entrepreneurs. The companys financial position will also be evaluated with suggestions for improvement. In the last chapter, an alternative strategic plan is drafted and recommended. Analytical conclusion of the alternative strategic plan is measured against ROE, EVA, net present value and SWOT analysis.

Influence of handball on the shoulder girdle state

Title: Influence of handball on the shoulder girdle state. Goal of the project: Examine and evaluate of functional condition of shoulder joints of young handball players on various player positions between input and output investigation. Suggestion of strengthening and stretching exercises for the area of shoulder girdle and finding if the exercises has some influence on the shoulder point as well as on the player performance. Method: We made comparison of input and output test results by the method of "kvasiexperimental" qualitative study. A modified questionnaire was given to each player before input investigation. Based on the questionnaire we learned deviations from the function, eventually the pain in the area of shoulder joint. After input investigation strengthening and stretching exercises of the shoulder girdle for 13 handball players on the various player positions in the youth team of Dukla Prague were suggested. Results: Results of the investigation of shoulder girdles in the group of handball players did not prove large number of subjective symptoms in the sense of pain and limitation. Conditional preparation of members of the Police of the Czech Republic

Résumé Name of the Project: Conditional preparation of members of the Police of the Czech Republic The aim of the Project: The aim of this Project is to resume and to evaluate contemporary situation of conditional preparation and its testing applied to the members of the Police of the Czech Republic in the selected districts of the Central Bohemian Region. Methods: I have received information necessary for completion of my diploma work from research of available literature, law and other sources that deal with the given problem. I have analysed documents and evaluated obtained data (results of revisions) to confirm or rebut the specified hypothesis. Furthermore, I have questioned anonymously policemen in the selected districts of the Central Bohemian Region. Afterwards, I have evaluated the questionnaires and have resumed obtained data for final interpretation and final comparison and evaluation. Results: Discovered knowledge presents overall state and testing of conditional preparation and introduces opinions and attitudes of policemen towards conditional preparation.
