The influence of swim on bodily development of child at infantil age\\

The work deals with questions of infant swimming and determines how this motion activity influences motion development of child. The theoretical part describes the history of infant swimming, child´s psychomotor development which is significant for this activity and the characteristics of the field of infant swimming. The experimental part follows with a clarification of both elementary methodics and initial examination of all participating children aged three months in accordance with Vojta´s method. Enclosed video recording shows next part of the experiment - swimming in tub and swimming in pool. After nine months all children were examined in accordance with Vojta´s method again. The comparison of the experimental and control groups is shown in charts processed with non-parametrical statistical method. Literature states that swimming helps remove various imperfections and abnormalities in body posture. This work determines whether it is true.\\

Psychomotricity in swimming education of preschool children

Diploma thesis "Psychomotricity in swimming education of preschool children" focuses on the use of psychomotor activities when teaching preschool children swimming. The theoretical part describes in detail, all according to available sources, the terms related to psychomotricity, development and swimming of a preschool child. The practical part of thesis focuses on the fact, whether it is beneficial and appropriate to apply psychomotor activities in swimming education. Further it strives to find out how big is the psychomotor awareness of Czech swimming instructors.

Swimming Programs for Infants and Toddlers and the Influence on Gross Motor Development Dynamics

Title: Swimming Programs for Infants and Toddlers and the influence on gross motor development dynamic. The aquatic programs for Infants and Toddlers are very popular in the contemporain culture and they presents the maximal stimulation for the motor development dynamic. This study observe the influence of swimming lessons on the Gross Motor Level. Objektive: To identificate the Gross Motor Function level for a group of 10 two years old children who participates in swimming programs for infants and Toddlers. Metod: Identification ofmotor deviation from "normal" motor behavior, using The Gross Motor Function mesure ofL. Vaivre- Douret. Comparative study ofthe gross motor function level and the real age. Results: For the group of 6 children, the motor function level was higher than the real age and in the case offour children, the motor function level corelated with the real age. Conclusions: In the majority oftested infants the developmentallevel is higher than the real age, but in the reason of developmental factors multiplicity, it is impossible to prove that the swimming programs are the major cause of developmental deviations. Mother's Motivation for Attending Children "Swimming" courses.

Title:Mother's Motivation for Attending Children Swimming courses. Objectives:The aim of the thesis is to find and to descript mother's basic motivation incentives for voting children swimming. Methods:This work has a descriptive character. In our work we have used non-standardized methods.These methods were applied to a nonrandom selective file of 44 mothers that, at least with one child, has completed or has just been visiting a children swimming course. Results:Mother's main basic motivation incentives differ in reasons for attending children swimming courses. At the beginning in swimming mother mainly sees the positive influence on healthy development of children, while at the end the most important for mothers is that their children are enjoying swimming lessons. Most often the decision for swimming courses in each family make mothers, fathers rather agree with this proposal. By analysing results we can answer all setted research questions. Thesis describes history of infant a baby swimming in Czech republic and worlwide. It brings an overview of current methods and methodologies of infant a baby swimming worlwide and in the Czech republic. Thesis describes in a reasonable detail methodology, developed by BabyClub Plaváček. Second - practical part of the thesis tries to evaluate hypothesis concerning methodologies used in infant and baby swimming. Evaluation is done upon questionaries and their evaluation. This thesis describes also a therapeutical work of Igor Carkovský as it has been observed during his workshop in the Czech republic.

Performance of masters category swimmers in freestyle disciplines

Title: Performance of masters category swimmers in freestyle disciplines Objectives: The main objective of the study is to evaluate the level and trends in performance of masters swimmers of various age categories in crawl disciplines in the Czech Republic. Particular objectives are: record and evaluate performance according to categories and disciplines, record the opinions of masters swimmers on their sport activity and obtain sport anamneses for selected masters swimmers. The performance of both men and women is monitored. Methods: In our study, we applied the combined type of research and used both quantitative and qualitative investigation of the selected topic. The quantitative part of the study was based on the examination of documents and inquiries. Data gathered was analyzed and interpreted by using descriptive statistics and tabular and graphic representation. The observation and interview methods were used in the qualitative part of the research to explain sport anamneses of selected swimmers. The survey took place in the competition season 2010/2011. Results: The results presented show that the best results in the youngest masters age categories approach the results of the sport swimmers in their top period. Possibilities and importance of physical education of pupils with visual impairment in the basic education.

Subject of this bachelor thesis is the opportunity and meaning of physical education for visually impaired pupils at primary school. The main aim is to perform a modification of the education plan for visually impaired pupils. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present theoretic points of the meaning of physical education for optimization of development of all character attributes of the pupils with visual handicap. The other aim of this bachelor thesis is to modify an education plan in the subject "Man and Health" (Physical Education) for visually impaired pupils at primary school. This bachelor thesis is composed of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with the processing of the starting theoretic points, which topic is visually impaired pupils or children. I dedicate to visual handicap, its definition and classification in the literary research specifically. The theoretical part also presents the specifics of the visually impaired child's development, its motor, mental, cognitive evolution and its progress of exercise and spatial orientation. The other topic of the theoretical part is the early care and education system of visually impaired children. The last biggest chapter of the theoretical part are some chosen physical and sport activities for visually impaired children. e.g. athletics, swimming, cycling, goalball and showdown, suitable for visually impaired children. The practical part deals with a modification of the education plan itself at the primary school at České Budějovice. Firstly, there is introduced the aim of the thesis and research methodics. This is followed by a summary of the results of the quantitative research, modification of the education plan and the conclusion of the thesis. A document analysis and an interview were used as methods of research in this bachelor thesis. The interview was held with teachers from primary school at České Budějovice. On the base of research there was made a modified education plan for physical education. Suggested modifications have material, personnel, didactical and methological character. The base for data processing was research results from analysis and literature and from interview with teachers at the primary school at České Budějovice. This bachelor thesis should serve as a study material for pedagogic students at university, also for public and it should be used by teachers for visually impaired pupils at primary school.
