Střihové napětí na stěně pod velkou bublinou stoupající v nakloněném plochém kanále
Tihon, Jaroslav ; Pěnkavová, Věra ; Vejražka, Jiří
The motion of single air bubbles in an inclined flat water channel is investigated experimentally. The electrodiffusion technique of near-wall flow diagnostics is applied to measure the wall shear stress distribution under large bubbles rising along the upper channel wall. The electrodiffusion measurements are synchronized with the visual observation of bubble movement done by a high-speed camera. The analysis of video records provides information on the bubble shape and terminal velocity. The experiments are carried out for three different channel heights and cover a wide range of channel inclination angles (from horizontal to vertical position). The experimental results on bubble motion characteristics obtained in stagnant and upward-flowing liquid arrangements are confronted with the recent predictions and scaling provided by theoretical models.

Wall Shear Stress Induced by Taylor Bubbles in Inclined Flow Channels
Tihon, Jaroslav ; Pěnkavová, Věra ; Vejražka, Jiří
The motion of single air bubbles in flat channels is experimentally investigated. The electrodiffusion technique of near-wall flow diagnostics is applied to measure the wall shear stress distribution under large rising bubbles. The measurements are synchronized with the visual observation of bubble movement by a high-speed camera. The analysis of video records provides information on the bubble shape and terminal velocity. The experiments are carried out for three different channel configuration (with heights of 1.5, 4, and 8 mm), cover a wide range of channel inclination angles (from horizontal to vertical position), and dealing with both the bubbles in stagnant and in co-flowing water.

Establishment and Termination of a Membership in a Cooperative Society
Mach, Ondřej ; Oehm, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Černá, Stanislava (referee)
Establishment and termination of a membership in a cooperative society Membership in a cooperative society is a basic cooperative relationship due to the fact that a cooperative society is a corporation which cannot exist without personal substrate and which cannot have solely one member. The understanding of establishment and termination of a membership is hence essential for the mere existence of a cooperative society. The task of this thesis is to describe in detail the means of establishment and termination of a membership in a cooperative society. This thesis provides a comprehensive explanation of individual means, especially with respect to the terms and their legal consequences. My goal was to point out the problematic issues and describe how those issues are resolved in theory and how they are solved by legal practice. I also attempted to compare those issues with foreign regulation, especially with German and Austrian ones. It was necessary to compare the Czech regulation with international cooperative principles since the Czech understanding of a cooperative law is frequently challenged by misunderstanding of those principles. Apart from the general principles applicable to all cooperative societies, I was in detail describing housing cooperative associations and European cooperative society...

Protection of Tenancy of a Dwelling-House in England
Zámyslický, Jakub ; Salač, Josef (referee) ; Pohl, Tomáš (referee)
93 Protection of Tenancy of a Dwelling-House in England The aim of this thesis is to analyse legal regulation of protection of tenancy of a dwelling-house in England. The reason for the research is the fact, that legislation of that area is gradually developing in the Czech Republic and legal regulation of that issue in England could be interesting inspiration for any future changes. The thesis is composed of four chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of protection of tenancy. Chapter One is introductory and briefly presents last changes of relevant Czech legislation and states the goal of the thesis. Chapter Two examines relevant common law legislation that regulates tenancy of land in general. The chapter consists of six parts. Part One characterises estate in land and its types. Parts Two and Three describe legal titles of occupancy of land - lease and licence. Part Four recognises basic types of tenancy. Part Five outlines an overview of termination of tenancies. Part six focuses on sub-lease after termination of head-lease. Chapter Three is subdivided into six parts and describes relevant acts providing tenancy of a dwelling-house with specific protection. Part One illustrates relation of common law and the acts, Part Two looks at different types of legal protection and its historical...
