Analysis of the EU regulations in the field of Information and Telecommunication technologies and their effect on the single market
Hart, Ludvík ; Procházka, Pavel (advisor) ; Strejček, Ivo (referee)
The bachelor thesis describes the EU regulations in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT), particularly the Digital agenda for Europe strategy. These regulations are then tested for their influence on the European single market. The major question answered here is whether the EU regulations in field of ICT have a positive impact on the EUs single market. Answer to this question helps us evaluate the ongoing Digital agenda strategy. The impact of the regulations is analysed by induction of the following indicators, international trade, ratio of population buying online, DESI index and NRI index. With this method it is possible to tackle the wide range of fields the Digital agenda covers. I conclude this work with the statement, that European ICT regulations do have a positive impact on the single market, although are problematic due to the slow legislative process and low efficiency in addressing the regulated issue.

Analysis of the current situation in international banking regulation and its outlook for the future - from the Basel I Basel III
Růžička, Jan ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the evolution of banking regulation from the turn of the 19th and 20th century with regard to the introduction of global standards of regulation and supervision. Great emphasis was placed on the status and functionality of the current regulation and also on its future shape as Basel III rules. In the theoretical part Basel I and Basel II projects are presented. The first of these is the concept from 1987 (Basel I) with the emphasis on greater stability and reliability of the international banking system. Basel I, however, represented a very simple and straightforward form of regulation, where the only monitored standard is bank's credit exposure. The amendment to Basel I and primarily Basel II, introduced a pillar regulation structure, which is still valid and provides national regulator a sufficient power to carry out its activities. The second, practical part of the thesis is devoted to current development and problems of banking regulation. This part introducing Basel III represents not only the key point of the gradual increase in the amount of regulatory capital until 2019, but also the introduction of uniform standards for measuring liquidity and strengthening the supervisory powers.

Turbocharger Regulating VNT Mechanism Load Simulation
Cetkovský, Martin ; Svída, David (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with turbochargers with a focus on the ways of their regulation. The main subject is to design CFD simulation for a turbocharger with VNT mechanism at specific positions. Simulation is based on the turbocharger Garrett by Honeywell, for which measurement was realized. Finally torques acting on the vanes are evaluated from the simulation. The means of results improvement are considered at the end of the thesis.

CFD Simulation of Turbocharger Regulating Mechanism
Drdla, Adam ; Vančura, Jan (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to provide research into turbocharger regulation, and analyze the force load of vanes in the VNT mechanism of Garrett turbocharger by CFD simulation. In the thesis there is one model with two different mesh densities. It describes the relevance of supercharging vehicle engines and the kinds of supercharging aggregates in the introduction. Then, the thesis is divided into two chapters. The first chapter provides research, describing primary principle of supercharging, turbocharger construction and kinds of air regulation. The practical part of the thesis solves the force load of VNT mechanisms. It was necessary to optimalize the 3D Garrett turbocharger model, create two meshes with different element densities, specify boundary conditions and analyse the results of both cases. A general description of solved problems, comparison of results of force load vanes and propose simplifying and verifying the CFD calculation are included in the conclusion.

Regulation of accounting and taxes in the Republic of Mauritius
Vyroubalová, Adéla ; Dvořák, Martin (advisor) ; Skálová, Jana (referee)
The introductory part of the bachelor thesis briefly deals with the legal forms of business in the Republic of Mauritius. The main objective of this work is based on the characterization of accounting regulation in the Republic of Mauritius and bring the national form of accounting regulation. The thesis describes the individual parts of Financial Reporting Standards for Small Entities issued by Financial Reporting Council Mauritius. The Financial Reporting Standards for Small Entities are compared with the International Financial Reporting Standard for Small and Medium Sized Entities at the same time. When the standards were compared, significant conformity and differences were highlighted. The final part is devoted to the tax system of the Republic of Mauritius. This section deals mainly with constructional elements of corporate and personal income tax.

Motion control during hanged object transportation
Richter, Jan ; Davidová, Olga (referee) ; Němec, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Diploma Thesis focuses on examination of most suitable optionsof movement regulation of pendent object from the perspective of various requirements on the course of the process as such. The environment of Matlab-Simulink was used for the analysis. The first part of the Thesis deals with the creation of the model of the whole system and creation of additional models of systems with similar, highly oscillating behaviour. The central part of the Thesis focuses on the design of suitable methods of movement regulation during translocation of the pendent object, which is tested on a simple model of travelling monkey. Four approaches to the problem solving were chosen: simple regulation by PID regulator, branched regulation, state regulation and predicative regulation. All solving options are being analysed and optimised and their results mutually compared according to requirements defined, such as: speed of the process, fluency of the movement, small pose overshoot or small angle of rope deflection.

Legal and social regulation of addiction to alcohol
Urban, Andrej ; Munková, Gabriela (advisor) ; Kotous, Jan (referee)
Alkohol a jeho konzumácia je významný fenomén, ktorý sprevádza ľudstvo na ceste dejín už od skorých "počiatkov". Súčasť civilizácie, vykresľovaná väčšinou v negatívnom svetle, predsa neodstrániteľná, pretrvávajúca dlhé stáročia, vzbudzujúca polemiky a diskusie. Alkohol polarizuje spoločnosť, rozdeľuje do názorových skupín.

Cloning and characterisation of selected Class II formins
Stillerová, Lenka ; Cvrčková, Fatima (advisor) ; Rösel, Daniel (referee)
Formins are proteins involved in regulation and construction of actin filaments of eucaryotic organism. They parcipitate in regulating cytokinesis, polar tip growth, and thus participate in development of whole organisms. There are 2 classes of formins in Arabidopsis thaliana. Both classes include FH1 and FH2 domains (formin homology 1 a 2). Class I formins have N-terminal transmembrane domain, unlike class II formins. Some formins of class II have a N-terminal PTEN domain (Phosphatase and Tensin Homolog). Sequence analyses predicted membrane binding via phosphatase or C2 subdomain of PTEN. This thesis was focused on the formin AtFH14, specifically its PTEN domain. Based on predicted sequence, a DNA fragment encoding the PTEN domain was amplified, sequenced and cloned to destination vectors for YFP and EOS phusions. Marked protein was visualized by transient expression in Nicotiana benthamiana. Stably transformed Arabidopsis lines were prepared for stably expression of protein. The tagged protein was localized in cortical cytoplasm, cytoplasmatical strands, probably in nuclear membrane or perinuclear cytoplasm, as well as in peculiar "folicle-like" structures that might be due to binding of PTEN at the periphery of some membrane organelles. Also were seen filament structures, maybe caused by PTEN binding...
