The Meaning of School Success and Failure at Primary School
Vojtíšková, Kateřina
The text deals with social construction of two social categories - "school success/failure" - at primary school. Data were obtained by an ethnographic study conducted at two Prague schools in eight and ninth year classes. Everyday evaluation practices of school mates and teachers toward pupils considered as un/successful were analysed. It is shown that crucial aspects of "success/failure" are not only academic abilities (intelligence) and an individual effort (merit), but also proper behaviour of child – internalization of certain values, his/her attitude towards authorities and education, being respectful. School success/failure has always moral consequences. A failure means an absence – of aspiration, intelligence, abilities, will, manners – and means stigmatisation.

Marketing of Breast milk Substitutes Recommendation and Practices
Dočkalová, Jitka ; Schneidrová, Dagmar (advisor)
The topic of my thesis Marketing infant formula - recommendations reality I chose based on their own experience with motherhood, breastfeeding and marketing of infant formula. Personally, I must say that despite all the medical education, I initially had a problem with breastfeeding. I never thought, how much patience and effort will have to make in a situation that is so natural and seemingly simple. I have not the slightest doubt that women who are less educated and less motivated, are an easy target marketing infant nutrition. In the hospital is no exception that newborns have dokrmují in the first days of life and not medically indicated situations. In counseling pediatricians and pharmacies are freely available leaflets that promote substitute for breast milk. For women, this can mean that substitute for breast Milk is something normal for a child just as valuable as breastfeeding. at doubt whether infants breast milk enough, it is very important to support health professionals and other stakeholders. If this support is missing or even doctors offer mothers samples of breast milk substitutes is only a small Step to the mother chooses not to breastfeed. In this work I would like to point out the fact that breastfeeding in our society is increasingly replaced by substitutes feeding breast milk, even in...

Criminalistic theory of a crime victim
Biňovec, Adam ; Musil, Jan (advisor) ; Konrád, Zdeněk (referee)
Resumé This master's thesis deals with the field of forensic study of crime victims, also known as forensic victimology. The aim of this text is to draw attention to issues of this field and to discuss crucial topics based on their practicality, incidence or tendency to be incorrectly interpreted. That includes, among others, the relationship of forensic victimology to related disciplines, especially general victimology as its foundation, their development, utility of victimological knowledge and methods in criminalist practice, status of victims in the process of crime reporting, as carriers of forensic trails, the phenomenon of victim pretending from the perspective of practice and its contrast with the media image etc. It also aims to emphasize the need for sensitive, but unemotional approach to the victims, which makes it possible to perceive them with sufficient respect; this means to see them not only as a piece of evidence, but as persons in a very complicated and difficult situation when inappropriate and/or insensitive approach may lead to a number of negative consequences, in particular, but not limited to, supporting the victim mentality and increasing the victim's risk of repeated victimization in the future. It is however also necessary to maintain proper efficiency of the relevant authority...

Magnetostratigraphic investigation of volcanic complex Úhošť hill(Doupovské hory Mts.)
Schnabl, Petr ; Cajz, Vladimír ; Chadima, Martin ; Rapprich, V. ; Šlechta, Stanislav ; Pruner, Petr
A detailed magnetostratigraphic study was carried out at the locality of Úhošť near Kadaň on the NE margin of the Doupovské hory volcanic complex. The majority of the samples had small viscous component that was possible demagnetized in the range 1 to 5mT or below 100°C. The primary components were pointing to the origin and were mostly interpreted in the range between 10 and 100mT or 100 to 560°C. The mean declination from all localities is 11.5 deg and inclination 53.9 deg. The parameter alpha 95 ranges between 2 and 10 degree. It's mean all lava flows has normal polarity. The major task is why all 13 localities have normal polarity although in the time range between the first and last volcanic event are several normal and reverse polarity periods.

Svobodová, Jana ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Pučalík, Marek (referee)
RESUMÉ MARIE MARKETA OF WALDSTEIN'S FOUNDATIONS This bachelor's work represents Marie Marketa, Countess of Waldstein, as the founder of sacral objects in her estates, and presents an overview of buildings with an explanation of their origin in the given locality. Bachelor's thesis is part of research on Waldstejn's patronage in northern Bohemia prepared for the exhibition of this important aristocratic family in the Museum of the Bohemian Paradise in Turnov. During my research, I did mapping of individual sites and I described them. From my point of view the work in the field was important, this means acquisition of photographs of individual churches and gathering additional information on the creation of buildings. Most reference period was the years 1724-1729, when the Countess of Waldstein was truly generous in promoting the arts, when the favorable financial situation help her. Thanks to this situation newly built or restored religious buildings on Waldstein's estates were built. Such as decanal church of St. James in Mnichovo Hradiště, St. Nicholas in Turnov, and St. Vojtěch in Kruh near Doksy, St. Wenceslas in Boseň and the chapel of St. John of Nepomuk at Waldstein, St. Stapin in Klokočka. The aim set for this work I managed to meet, even though I remained in this work due to my research even more...

Support of bachelor and master thesis couching
Winkler, Jakub ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Bartoš, Jan (referee)
Today, procedure of creating bachelor and master thesis suffers from many problems. Amongst them the main issue would consist of absence of central storage ability connected to creating and couching the thesis. In practice that would mean information about records from consultation, comments to thesis etc. are to be lost and neither student, nor his thesis couch can take a look to the history of thesis progress. Furthermore, there is a lack of date registration for consultations and deadlines of handing out thesis. As a consequence, both efficiency and quality of final thesis are decreased by such poor management. As a solution, support of whole thesis procedure with software tool is suggested. There are many options of such software solutions, however only one is the most suitable and that is exactly what this thesis is trying to find. Thesis formulates requirements for such software application, after the analysis of current situation and identification of core issues. Application should bring improvement of the situation and at the same time should be users, operational and financially acceptable. From wide spectrum of available solutions, only those which had fulfilled basic conditions were chosen. Basic conditions such as: users interface in Czech language, saving documents availability and large capacity of users accounts. Final group of potential solutions was put through detail analysis for support utility for thesis couching. This analysis finally shows the most suitable solution. This bachelor thesis brings analysis of utility for commonly available web application or hosted applications for bachelor and diploma thesis couching. The implementation could be done quickly without further problems, thanks to the undemanding IT and financial requirements of software application. After finding the most suitable solution, this thesis shows how large scale of efficiency Microsoft SharePoint Services 3.0 brings. Furthermore, at the end of this thesis, many more options for using this application are shown.

Impact of digital imaging on practical work of radiographer
MAREK, David
The submitted bachelor{\crq}s paper deals with the impact of digital imaging on the practical activity of a radiological assistant. In 2006, I participated in a professional seminar held by the AURA-GROUP company, which focused on digitalization of modalities in the health service. This topic seemed to be so interesting for me that I decided to find out what their experience were and what the comparison of the analogue and digital imaging would be like from the point of view of assistants working in practice and to find out more about requirements concerning a radiological assistant{\crq}s work both under the analogue and under the digital operation. In the theoretical section, the principle of X-rays is provided together with a small excursion into the history and the method of analogue and digital imaging and current methods of archiving as well. In this section, the current state of radiology is surveyed and the principles of the individual methods, their advantages and disadvantages together with future prospective are described here as well. In the practical section, I decided to verify the hypothesis that the digital imaging is more valuable in practice that the analogue one. Within the framework of quantitative methodology, the method of fact-finding through questionnaire was used. This questionnaire was presented to employees of radiological departments and the results were subsequently statistically processed and evaluated. The research sample was set up from employees working in the radiological departments in the hospitals in České Budějovice and Český Krumlov. For the purposes of this research, I made no difference as far as the individual age categories or educational background or any other criteria are concerned. This means that this selection was not limited in any way and it has, in my opinion, sufficient support both from the theory and practice and thus it has a sufficient testifying value with respect to the knowledge and experience of the radiological assistants subject to the research. The results of this work confirmed the respective hypothesis and it was demonstrated that digitalization has positive impact on practical activity of a radiological assistant for the purpose of post-processing adjustments, X-ray images archiving using the PACS system, and the fact that there is no need of the so-called wet process is particularly beneficial as well. In the summary, we should also see economic advantages, as they are one of The most important criteria for development of new methods of activities in the field of health care at the present time. The fact that the digital method of imaging saves costs relating to films, chemical substances, archiving capacities (rooms and staff) brings substantial savings, which may be utilized for example for the purchase of technologically advanced equipment.
