Project metods utilization /disposal waste from selected machine works
Šíma, Kamil ; Nekvasil, Richard (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
The topic of my master’s thesis is waste management issue in selected engineering company with focus on industrial wastes. With use of information gained from selected engineering operation there is mentioned its brief characteristics, details about individual operations and products, impact of company activities on environment, facts about quantity of produced wastes and summary of current ways of waste management. On the basis of review of gained information there are suggested measures in the master’s thesis which realization would mean not only increase of material and energy utilization of produced waste, increase of degree fulfilment of waste economy and decrease of quantity of wastes placed in dump, but, in the long term, betterment of economical situation of company and its image.

Stress-free and stress-assisted aging of NiTi shape memory alloys
Dlouhý, Antonín ; Bojda, Ondřej ; Fiala, J.
The present work investigates coherent Ni4Ti3 precipitates in a Ti-50,7at%Ni shape memory alloy after different thermo-mechanical treatments. The study is based on the quantitative TEM (transmission electron microscopy) image analysis using the ACC (Adaptive Contrast Control) programme. The attention is given to a number, size and volume fraction of individual crystallographic variants of the Ni4Ti3 precipitates. Preliminary results suggest that, after common heat treatments, the precipitation of Ni4Ti3 particles is inhomogeneous not only as far as the density of particles in the original B2 grains is concerned but also with respect to the distribution of the crystallographic particle variants. The possible influence of the heterogeneous Ni4Ti3 precipitation on the characteristics of the martensitic transformations B2-R-B19’ is discussed.

Low cycle fatigue characteristics of austenitic stainless steel AISI 321 at 23 and 325 °C
Obrtlík, Karel
Cylindrical specimens of austenitic stainless steel AISI 321 were cyclically strained under total strain control to fracture at room temperature and at 325 °C. Hardening/softening curves, cyclic stress-strain curves and fatigue life curves in the representation of total strain amplitude, plastic strain amplitude and stress amplitude versus number of cycles to fracture were evaluated.

Avia BH534 airplane design as ultralight
Kozelský, Martin ; Popela, Robert (referee) ; Juračka, Jaroslav (advisor)
The object of the diploma thesis is a preparation of fundamental bases for realization aerofoils of the replica of the biplane aircraft BH534 Avia. The preambule of the work balances replica against the real historic aircraft. As next the basic aerodynamics characteristics, construction of aerofoils and strenght calculation of the aerofoils are described.

Analysis of the Economic development and the subsequent comparison of the BRICS countries
Herclíková, Marcela ; Plchová, Božena (advisor) ; Müllerová, Františka (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the analyses of the Economic development and the subsequent comparison of the BRICS countries. The thesis is especially focused on Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The first chapter is dedicated to characterization of the BRICS countries. The second chapter deals with the basic characteristics of the BRICS countries. Next chapters are focused on PEST analysis of these concrete countries. The third chapter deals with political and legal environment. Moreover, the fourth chapter focuses on the economic analysis of these countries. The aim of the fifth chapter is an analysis of technological development of the BRICS countries and their mutual comparison. Finally, last chapter is focused on the evaluation of concrete markets using SWOT analysis.

The influence of implementation of DMS in a bank on its business processes
Vejmělek, Vojtěch ; Stanovská, Iva (advisor) ; Cícha, Daniel (referee)
The topic of this thesis is an analysis of the influence of implementation of Document management system (DMS) on a selected process of a specific retail bank. The paper moves from a detailed characteristic of key terms, apart from technological aspects deals with the current legislature, continues on to the current state of the selected process and ends with a proposal of a new process. The thesis is meant for those who are interested in the field of enterprise content management, additionally it can offer motives for thoughts about electronization of documents and how it can be used to better the organization's services.

Design of Landscape Management of Horní Počernice
Barešová, Terezie ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Novotná, Eliška (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the current landscape management in Horní Počernice and the design of ecological measures, which can be used as a basis for comprehensive land changes of Horní Počernice. The theoretical part defines basic terms of landscaping and landscape ecology. The practical part describes the selected area including processing of ecological characteristics. Ecological measures of landscape are designed to improve the quality of life in Horní Počernice. A research was made to investigate the attitude of residents to the scenic countryside in connection with the expansion of buildings at the expense of vegetation. The conclusion contains an evaluation of the research.

Propagation of inclined cracks to the interface of ceramic laminates
Novotná, Lenka ; Trunec, Martin (referee) ; Chlup, Zdeněk (advisor)
Composite materials with laminated structure provide advantages which are utilised during component design. Low density, temperature and chemical stability are the profitable properties predetermining application of ceramic laminates. The main obstacle for wide spread of ceramic materials is their inherent brittleness. Therefore, in this thesis, the crack propagation in ceramics laminates has been extensively studied. Laminated structures with various volume fractions of components (alumina and zirconia) were prepared by electrophoretic deposition. Evaluation of crack propagation through the interface and determination of basic mechanical properties was conducted on the basis of extensive literature search. Crack deflection originated in both presence of internal stresses and differences in elastic modulus during the crack interface passing was monitored. A special type of specimen geometry was employed with the aim to set arbitrary angle between crack and interface. It was experimentally found that the degree of crack deflection is dependent on entering angle and volume fraction of components. Higher crack deflection was already found in the bulk of the test piece comparing to the test piece surface. The 3D fracture surface reconstruction generated using laser confocal microscopy was used in this detailed crack propagation study. Further basic elastic and strength characteristics of laminates were determined and compared to those obtained from monolithic materials. The validity of the mix rule for elastic characteristics was confirmed by comparing of elastics modulus. The most reliable method for elastic modulus determination was marked the dynamic resonance method due to low scatter and consistency in measurement. The flexural strength of all laminates tends to be close to the flexural strength of the weakest component. Therefore the mix rule is not applicable for flexural strength estimation on the contrary of elastic characteristics. The change of component volume fraction leads only to change of flexural strength scatter. Thanks to gained knowledge about crack propagation and basic characteristic determination will be possible to design ceramic laminates more efficiently for given needs of application.

Business plan
