Dolkošová, Vendula ; Hrabec, Josef (referee) ; Boháč, Ivo (advisor)
ANNOTATION The subject of this bachelor thesis is an urban and architectural design of the built up-area of the vacant lot near the intersection of Brabansko Malá Dlážka Street. The area is located on situationally exposed location by the riverside of the Bečva river with a view on the historical center of Přerov across the river. The area is also adjacent to the border of the protection zone of the city conservation area. The area in question offers a high concentration of opportunities for sports and recreational activities. Eastern bank is a recreational area connected to a city park and natural reserve. To the west, there is a large area belonging to the Sokol club. At the intersection, which is defined by a flume of a former water mill, lies a sports center „Mlýn“ with an adjacent parking lot. The surrounding area has a high sports significance, it is a hub of local bike, pedestrian and educational trails. Given the high popularity of cycling, a bike center has been chosen as an appropriate functional utilization of the apartement house. Five-story building is situated as a solitaire, the parcel area is an open space oriented towards the junction and the riverside road. From an architectonical standpoint, the building is shaped as a simple cube with a black coat of a smooth glass façade. The exterior is designed as a park with architectonical elements. The layout of the building is completely subordinate to the basic functions of the building, which will valorize the nature of the site: housing, bike center, service to the public. The building comprises of 12 small flats, a sports shop, a bike shop, bakery shop with snack-bar and an underground garage. The main structure is a monolithic of reinforced concrete, facade is a sandwich construction of inside wall, thermal insulation and black glass panels. The foundations, utilizing monolithic water-insulating tub of reinforced concrete, are influenced by a high level of underground water and a relocation of an existing pipeline route. Realization of the proposed townhouse will fill in the gap in services of the neighbouring facilities. Prerov is a city of cyclists. The main idea of the cycling center can be further developed. A realization of a wide network of bicycle stations serving as bicycle rentals "citybike" offers itself. The bicycles’ movement could be monitored electronically. Promoting cycling is in line with reduction of motor traffic in urban areas.

Using Computer Aided Engineering for analyse the detector
Novotný, Marek ; Špinka, Jiří (referee) ; Maxa, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with electron microscopy. Examined equipment is environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM), namely scintillation a detector of the microscope. There is solved the influence of the profile of holes in diaphragms to the resulting pressure and gas flow on the path of secondary electrons at the detector. Introductory part of thesis informs about microscopy in general, with concentration on electron microscopy; especially on scanning microscope, because research is taken just on the environmental scanning electron microscope. Another part informs about both general principles of dynamics of gases and with finite volume method. Another part deals with concrete used software and with setting of individual parameters for calculation. At the beginning of calculation are used five basic profiles of holes in diaphragms for pressure 1000 Pa in the chamber of the sample. For modelling individual shapes is used 3D parametric modeller SolidWorks. Analysis of circulation of secondary electrons through detector is made by using Cosmos FloWorks module. The most suitable type of diaphragms is chosen from measured models. Another part of diploma thesis deals with measuring of chosen types of diaphragms for more pressures in the chamber of the sample; the pressure is 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 Pa. The outcomes of this research are both models of pressure and speed of circulation inside the detector and graphically processed values by using different diaphragms, respectively one type of a diaphragm in different pressures. Production drawings of each diaphragm, together with calculated models, are enclosed.

Guest House "Na Pasekach"

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the project of a guest house, which is located in the area of Žďárské Vrchy. The concerned building stays on its own in a gently sloped down terrain. The whole building is constructed in a barrier-free way and is primarily intended to be used for recreation as well as housing capacity including eating facilities. The aforementioned premises are build on a rectangular groundplan with architectonic features of a log farmer´s house with agricultural buildings inside of the inbuild yard. There is a restaurant in the ground floor, furthermore room for social activities, terace, hall, reception, kachen, store house, bathroom and premises for employees. Attic apartments are constructed in the way that allows different sizes of the rooms. This range varies from two bed up to four bed rooms with a maximum capacity of 18 people including private bathrooms; and also small flat for the keeper of the premises. The building is designed with a wall-bearing system based on fundamental isolating special shaped bricks wasted in boarding of a plinth of fundamentals TERMO, formed from a concrete of a type C16/20. The vertical bearing-constructions are bricked from Porotherm 44 PROFI, Porotherm 36,5 PROFI on a mortar and light construction of a type of wooden house. The ceiling construction is made of prestressed concrete floor slab Spiroll Goldbeck. Half-Hipped Roof is made of wooden roof truss and is covered with special roofing material EUREKO DDS II in the shade of black. Facade is partly made of wooden facing, and partly plastered with facade plastering BAUMIT. Windows and entrance doors are wooden. For parking there are 18 spots available, out of which 2 are reserved for people with disabilities.

A combination of real options, simulation and decision trees for investment decisions
Pavlovská, Tereza ; Dlouhý, Martin (advisor) ; Dlouhá, Zuzana (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the evaluation of real options whose value represents a certain flexibility of the firm to decide about company´s assets in the future. In addition to classic models which were developed for option rating, such as binomial and Black-Scholes model, which have advantages and disadvantages, there is introduced a possible combination of decision trees and simulation Monte Carlo which runs directly inside the tree. This combination can erase the disadvantages which these methods have when they are used separately for option evaluation. In this thesis there can be found an application example inspired by a real situation and there are described different possibilities of usage of the mentioned combination and there is also demonstrated an unambiguous advantage of this method and that is a bigger amount of information which is provided in comparison with standard models. It allows the company to access much more complex image of the investment. The result is also various option values according to the used technique.

The thesis "Frank Stella/Milan Grygar - The Space Inside and Outside of the Picture" is an comparative paper concerning different artistic phases in the work of Frank Stella and Milan Grygar. The thesis focuses on the analysis of the pictorial space. The opening chapter introduces a brief description of the early work of both artists. Then pictures from the series with the same title Black paintings (Černé obrazy) are confronted. The comparison stresses out the differences between pictorial space in Stella's Black paintings and the one in Grygar's Černé obrazy. On the contrary, the following chapter points out the similarities in the spatial solution of the paintings from the series Exotic Birds by Frank Stella and Hmatové kresby (Tactile Drawing) by Milan Grygar.

Device Proposal for Measurement and Evaluation of Environmental Thermal State
Janečka, Jan ; Němeček, Pavel (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vdoleček, František (advisor)
The thesis deals with evaluation of the environmental thermal state in closed rooms with people inside the room. The achievement of thermal comfort is related to thermal balance of human body. People are producing heat during their work, which has to be carried away from the body to surrounding area by radiation, convection, conduction, respiration and evaporation. The intensity of heat removal is influenced by environmental parameters, especially by air temperature, mean radiant temperature, air velocity and humidity. Personal factors as energy expenditure of human body and clothing resistance are influencing the intensity of heat removal as well. People are able to influence the thermal comfort by their behaviour in given environment, appropriate clothing and regulation of basic environmental parameters. CSN EN ISO 7730 standard states that environmental parameters should be estimated or measured. The operative temperature is than evaluated from collected data. This operative temperature is defined as the temperature of black enclosed area where the human body will be by convection and radiation sharing the same amount of heat as in real inconsistent environment. Nowadays on the market there is no cheap solution for sensor which is able to evaluate the operating temperature and could be used in buildings. There are a lot of professional sensors which have very high accuracy, but are very expensive. Therefore are mainly used only for research or for single and exceptional measurement of environmental thermal state in rooms. The thesis is therefore focused on proposal of suitable (compact) operative temperature sensor assembled according to valid regulations and standards. Emphasis is placed mainly on the sensor price together with guarantee of sufficient accuracy. The proposed sensor is providing information to control system which is than able to adjust the parameters of environment using appropriate way based on relevant requirements. Here is some space for energy savings due to possible continuous measurement and evaluation of environmental thermal state in different rooms. Therefore, during continuous measurement no unnecessary rooms overheating in winter as well as unreasonable cooling in summer should occur. This research and solution is than reflected in reduction of energy consumption used for building operation and subsequently reduction of the pollutants production. This issue is being watched with increasing interest. Another advantage is that whole system is able to work autonomously without human intervention. People no longer have to continuously adjust air temperature because the control system is able to evaluate the most appropriate adjustments based on objective data obtained from the sensor. The thesis includes subsequent verification of proposed sensor as well as the definition of sensor technical parameters including analysis of measurement uncertainties.
