Banking Crises: Identification & Dating
Indexy sa volajú Banking Sector Fragility Index a Index of Money Pressure.

Some Remarks on Chronology and Dating of the Early Middle Ages Civilization in Moravia
Mazuch, Marian
The main object of the text is a notice about some fundamental problems, which complicate or limit the efforts of more detailed chronology of the Early Middle Ages civilization in Moravia, let us say every single field archeology situations.

Dating of cave sediments and reconstruction of karst morphology of the Nízké Tatry Mts
Kadlec, Jaroslav ; Danišík, M. ; Hercman, H. ; Pruner, Petr ; Chadima, Martin ; Schnabl, Petr ; Šlechta, Stanislav ; Grygar, Tomáš ; Granger, D.
The paleomagnetic polarities were measured both in clastic and chemogenic cave sediments preserved in eleven horizontal cave levels occur at different alitudes in the Jánska, Demänovská and Mošnica karst valleys in the Nízké Tatry Mts. Based on the obtained polarity data were are able to distinguish cave sediments deposited during the Brunhes, Matuyama and Gauss chrons. The stratigraphic interpretation was partly verified by U-series datings of speleothems preserved in the sedimentary sections. Except for the horizontal cave levels located in karst valleys, additional cave systems were formed at extremly high alitudes in the Nízké Tatry Mts. Preliminary data show predominantly reverse paleomagnetic orientations in fluvial activity in these caves and deposition of clastic sediments during Gilbert Chron.

Microforms of sandstone relief and their using in relative dating
Krbcová, Klára ; Křížek, Marek (advisor) ; Engel, Zbyněk (referee)
Microforms and mesoforms play the main role in the sandstone relief. Their origin is conditioned by some processes, the main are weathering and erosion. Based on the background research, the deffinition, classification, diagenesis and occurrence of sandstones was described. The second part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the mechanism of weathering and erosion. The microforms and mesoforms of the sandstone relief were divided into groups according to the guiding process of their origin. The description of the sandstone forms, the way of their origin, the stage of development and their extension were described. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis, the microforms in the gorge Apatyka in CHKO Kokořínsko were analyzed. The practical part was focused expecially on honeycombs, because their extension in the gorge is huge and they enable the complex analyse of their location in the gorge and in the rock outcrops. Using suitable methods it was found, that the honeycombs are located primarily in the eastern quadrant, their coverage decrease with the decreasing height of the rock outcrops and their presence in the lowest and the highest parts of the rock walls is limited. The second part of the fieldwork was focused on the relative dating of the parts of the gorge with honeycombs. The odlest part of the...

Zaměření a stavebně-technický průzkum krovové konstrukce kostela Sv. Matouše v obci Postřelmov
Mičunda, Jan
This thesis assesses the state of the truss and steeple of the church of St. Matthew in Postřelmov. The main objectives are to draw the construction, conduct construction-technical survey and and date the construction using dendrochronology. The basic assessment consists in the analysis of the individual parts of the building and their typology. The drawing part of the thesis focuses on the truss, including the steeple. The objectives of the construction-technical evaluation are to assess the structural protection, to locate, identify and detect biological pest infestation; the dendrochronological dating will try to determine the exact year of construction and dates of potential repairs. According to the results, remedial measures will be proposed designed to maintain wood elements in a satisfactory condition.

Roman fortifications on the barbarian territory in the Middle Danube Region during Marcomannic wars – introduction and perspectives
Komoróczy, Balázs
Intensive terrain and theoretical archaeological research aimed to the period of the Marcomannic wars continuously brings new information about the subject. Interpretation of the archaeological evidences of the Roman military impact into the Germanic territories (Moravia, Slovakia and Lower Austria) requires a complex approach. The main objective of the paper is to deliver a revised outline of already known Roman military fortification, complemented with up-to-date results of the systematical research in the area occupied by Roman military power on the cadastre of ceased village Mušov. Analyses of the available sources - together with the latest findings from the Germanic settlements dated to the periods around the Marcomannic wars - show extraordinary intensity, exceptional geographical extent and deep social impact of the Roman military power on the Marcomannian and Quadian territories during the period from 172 to 180 AD.

Occurrence of human pharmaceuticals in the middle part of the Yangtze River. Literature rewiew compared to results from passive samplers POCIS.
KUBATA, Michal
Occurrence of human pharmaceuticals in the middle part of the Yangtze River. Literature review compared to results from passive samplers POCIS. Pollution of water environment by pharmaceuticals is becoming a major problem in recent years. Amount of discharged pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCP) is continually increasing in number and volume as well. The Yangtze basin is one of the world's most populated areas and its development is still growing. The goal of this thesis is to compare results from previous studies with concentrations of pharmaceuticals which were detected in POCIS samplers. Passive samplers were deployed in 10 localities in the middle part of the Yangtze River from October 12 to October 22, 2013. Temperature of water was from 20 to 21°C. Instrumental analysis was based on LC-MS/MS method. The passive sampling method was very succesful in detecting of pharmaceuticals. Range of detected substances was 39 PPCP. In our study, the total concentration of target substances ranged from 36 to 757 ng . POCIS-1 in respektive sites. The most abundant group were antibiotics. Several studies, which were aimed to asses the presence of pharmaceuticals in the river have been made to date. Authors of cited studies detected 36 pharmaceutical compounds. Influential substances were sulfamethoxazole, carbamazepine, indomethacine and ibuprofen. Their maximal concentrations reached more than 200 ng . l-1. Methods of the previous measurements consisted in collecting samples of surface water or sediments. Detection of polar micropollutants by using passive sampling is relatively new approach. Unfortunately it is not possible to compare results from water samples with data analysed in POCIS directly. There are calculations available only for limited range of pharmaceuticals and pesticides. Moreover most sampling rates were calculated in controled laboratory conditions only. There are many factors that can influence results of the filed measurements for example water temperature, turbulence conditions, fluctuation of concentration, biochemical degradation of substances during storage, etc. Amounts of concentration are mostly influenced by dilution in the river. Presence of individual substances depends on composition of using pharmaceuticals in particular area.
