The influence of media to the public administration
Foglová, Leona ; Louda, Tomáš (advisor) ; Matula, Miloš (referee)
The bachelor thesis deals with influence of media to public opinion. The main goal of this thesis is to verify or to disprove the hypothesis of the influence of media to the public administration. The quantitative sociological research is applied for finding results of defined hypothesis. The hypothesis says: media influence public opinion and public administration. The other goal of this thesis is to discovery if factors like gender, age or educational background influence how society perceives impact of media. The questionnaire is divided into five age categories and each of them has a different number of respondents. For that reason we can not compare the results but only speculate. After evaluation and analysis of the survey is the hypothesis accepted and these factors are commented.

The natural seasonal changes in the food choice and digestive tract of wild ruminants
Kamler, Jiří ; Homolka, Miloslav
Herbivore populations all over Europe have been strongly influenced by human activities. A combination of harvest, changes in forest structure, supplementary feeding, predator extirpation and others factors have led in most cases to increases of their populations and a severe impact on the composition and structure of the forest vegetation. The food choice of free living ungulate species is strongly influenced by season and animal species and changes in diet composition and quality cause the changes in the digestive tract. Effective management of ungulate populations and forest ecosystems should be based not only on detailed information about the impact of deer browsing and the number of deer to harvest but also on the density of deer species, the food supply, the structure of diets consumed by individual species, attraction and quality of the individual components of food supply the total quality of food taken and seasonal changes in digestive tract.

Rockfalls in the Jestřebí Castle area
Kaňková, Helena ; Engel, Zbyněk (referee) ; Kalvoda, Jan (advisor)
Rockfalls in the Jestřebí Castle area Abstract Rockfalls are one of essential causes of direct as well as indirect damages in residential areas. To mitigate negative impacts on society it is necessary to assess the risk posed by rockfall and choose suitable protective measures. Achievement of these targets needs a better understanding of the whole process of rockfall including natural conditions and trigger factors. Presented case study deals with rockfalls in the Jestřebí Castle area. The castle bedrock is formed by quartzose sandstones of the Cretaceous age. Stability of the masiff deteriorates in the last 200 years. The first rockfall was registered in the year 1811. Main cause is imputed to human interventions after 1400 AD when construction of the castle began, including the sandstone quarrying in 1750 - 1850 AD. As additional adverse conditions and factors were identified the weathering along conglomerate and bioturbated horizons resulted in a horizontal dissection of the sandstone outcrop and also a vertical separation along joints caused by nearby fault zone. The latest significant rockfall in October 1st 2009 wasted over 100 m3 of rocks from the western wall of the sandstone massif. Further rockfalls due to low stability of the massif can be expected in the near future. Keywords: rockfalls, slope...

Applying of Behavioural Economics to Economic Policy: Experiments in years 2000-2016 and proposals for implementation in the Czech Republic
Rückl, Josef ; Procházka, Pavel (advisor) ; Strejček, Ivo (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on applying of behavioural economics to economic policy. The thesis introduces behavioural economics as a school of economic thought and an idea of libertarian paternalism, which supports applying of behavioural economics to economic policy. Theoretical findings are applied to two fields - pension systems and environmental policy. I research behavioural factors that affect these two fields of economic policy. Furthermore I suggest alternatives how to eliminate some of these factors and how to increase efficiency of chosen systems.

Development of interest rates in the mortgage market in the Czech Republic between 2006-2016
Ditrichová, Gabriela ; Strejček, Ivo (advisor) ; Klement, Josef (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the development of interest rates in the mortgage market in the Czech Republic in the decade between 2006 and 2016. A strong economic growth between 2006 and 2007, which had positive effects in the mortgage loan market, was followed by a deep slump in the form of global financial crisis unleashed by speculations in the real estate market in the U.S. The main aim of the work is based on the development of mortgage interest rates and the significant factors that affect their amount - to verify or disprove the hypothesis that interest rates respond to changes of these factors. The results confirm the hypothesis only in certain areas. The influence of changes of interest rates has been proven in the case of inflation and discount rates by usage of the econometric model. Factors that have not shown a significant direct influence of interest rates may have an indirect influence on their change.

View from statistics perspective on fatigue crack growth influenced by constraint effect
Seitl, Stanislav
The issue of the fatigue crack behavior is studied in connectivity on different levels of constraint. The constraint is quantified by using T-stress. The problems are studied on two different forms of specimen (Center cracked plate tension specimen and compact tension specimen) that have different values of T-stress for the same value of the stress intensity factor.

Influence of temperature on permeability and stress strain behaviour of granodiorite
Daněk, T. ; Konečný, Pavel ; Kožušníková, Alena ; Nowakowski, A.
Behaviour of rock samples in unaxial and triaxial stat of stress is influenced by a lot of factors as mineral composition and origin of the rock, degree of diagenesis etc. One of the important factors is temperature. Especially high temperature influences very strong the behaviour of the rocks. High temperature could be generated in varous ways in rock massif. The research results could be improved in solution of serious problematic of burning in tunnels, underground waste storage or modelling of temperature field in rock massif.

The Analysis of Carbide Cutting Inserts.
Pavelka, Rudolf ; Humár, Anton (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This study states basic technological aspects of metal machining with cutting inserts, with special stress on coated carbide cutting inserts. Among others, it states wear-out theory incl. wear-out accompaniments, problems of chip-forming and other factors of metal machining. At the end of the study, it contents a description of the latest cutting materials and construction elements of cutting inserts from reputable producers and, for some of them, also the course and the results of practical tests and comparison.

Factors of Success of a Crowdfunding Campaign within Scope of the Czech Internet
Pekárek, Jan ; Kubálková, Markéta (advisor) ; Topolová, Ivana (referee)
Crowdfunding is a way of financing a project when money is raised from a large number of small contributors. The main objective of this thesis is to identify key contributing factors of success of a crowdfunding campaign based on statistical analysis of projects on HitHit.cz. As a further contribution, this thesis aims to provide recommendations on how to create a successful crowdfunding campaign, as well as to review characteristics associated with the biggest crowdfunding portals in the USA and Czech Republic.
