Requirements and expectations of nurses in primary care

The aim of the work was to find out what the expectations of nurses in primary care and their requirements are. The research was carried out by the method of a questionnaire and in total 160 respondents from Prague responded. The nurses´ data confirmed a great interest in extending their own knowledge. Also proficiency and independence in their work performance is put in the first place.

Design of mobile horizontal wood-splitting machine

This thesis shows making of documentation for production powerfull wood-splitting machine for hardest forestal work. There are researched and soluted all phases of pre-production machine's lifecycle, also means analysis of conception, potentional risks and failures analysis and also definition of required properties. Based on those properties and results of analyses is possible to setting up condition which should be satisfied. At following part are descripted and shown features of machine-design . Main feature (component) of machine is its frame, also there are strenght analysis of frame. Machine movement features are mainly hydraulics pistons which are powered by asynchronous engine, whith alternative possibility movement by wheel tractor power-take off shaft or hydraulics output. There are performed all important properties. Working safety questions and high endurability of machine shold be also performed. At the end of work is realised conception and design study of forestal production system for wood processing with one universal source of energy – wheeled tractor.

The Physical strain of geocaching individual age categories

Due to the reduced activity of the movement for the wider public we want to prove that the concentration game geocaching and the movement is a good foundation for the development of movement and health. First, it is explained in the history of the game, its principle and performance requirements. Subsequently described physical activity and physical activity when Geocaching. Not forgotten the definition of physical exertion and energy conversion. Followed by a presentation of the system to write data and characteristics of the Indares qualitative research. By comparing the values for respondents at selected ages during the two seasons we want to prove which of these periods will be more productive. The findings of the energy performance of the movement of all physical activities at the research we want to clarify the demands of Geocaching. In the system of volunteers write required data Com for energy load by using a pedometer. In the exelových tables data the average heart rate, distance and the kilocalorie. The results clearly demonstrated the superiority of the summer for all respondents, and confirmed the intensity between physical activities of Geocaching.

Analysis of educational materials for patients with coeliac disease

The Dissertation deals with educational materials for patients with celiac disease. It describes general requirements for teaching materials and the didactical principles suitable for educational materials for patients with celiac disease. It presents a draft criteria for assessment of web sites intended for people suffering of celiac disease. Five Czech, as well as foreign Internet-based resources, have been selected and assessed for compliance with the criteria given by technical properties, contents, page structures, criteria evaluating credibility of the sites and educational criteria. All the sites assessed can be used for education of patients with celiac disease, but they are rather information sites with a low content of educational characteristics.

Aesthetics of Arts

This Bachelor work has no intention to analysis the History of art, either to explain the terminology of philosophy thru time; Great Masters did this before and compare with them will be completely useless. The purpose of this work is to prove that aesthetics there for arts, are extremely important in our days not only because art domesticates the ferocious beast (humans included), but also because aesthetics is ethics. In order of course to understand this association between this triangle aesthetics-art-ethics, a short historical preview is necessary as well as the explanation of main terminology is require; At the end however when we see our course as human kind from the beginning until now a question will be born; did we failure, did the modern time pays the price of our ancestors or our own? And if our time is actually the worst of all times can this failure be reverse? And how can this and the next generations do something to change the course of history since the luck of ethics is more than obvious in every corner of our world? This work will give the facts and at the end will show reality in a cruel and row way; but the answers for all this question is still yours...

Optimization capital charges in VaR model utilizing dynamic risk management strategies

Diploma thesis "Optimization capital charges in VaR model utilizing dynamic risk management strategies" deals with banks opportunity to reduce Basel capital requirements via estimation volatility in VaR model for separate time periods differently. It analyses current crisis, its sources, process, but especially its influence of new worldwide accepted regulatory standards, which require nearly doubled regulatory capital. Regarding high impact to industry return on equity the thesis discusses the possibility of dynamic capital optimization based on alternating conservative and aggressive risk management strategies. Empirical part of thesis tests outcomes of volatility modeling based on historical quotes of six European indexes since 2003, which are classified by volatility levels and broken down into several time periods. We suggest approach which enables financial institutions to reduce the impact of new Basel rules on their ROE, while they meet all VaR model conditions defined by the regulator. However, there are also negative consequences of this lowering level of capital represented by increasing failure rates of models. Although banks are able by suggested approach to achieve capital reduction by 20 percent, they are in the same time forced to use one of a very aggressive strategies. Dynamic...

Diploma thesis submit processing and evaluation of experiment which was made at University of Hertfordshire. Aim of this experiment was practically confirm and compare efficiency of drying bottles with blower and compressor. The next purpose was to suggest solution against recondensation on dry surface of bottles. Diploma thesis involves also economy calculation. In the diploma thesis was described issues of drying and condensation, realized analysis of drying equipment and methods of air conditioning. As the most suitable and the most cost effective way of drying was at the base on experiment and energy and economy calculation chosen tested turbo blower 587. As the solution, against recondenzation was created anticondensation tunnel. As the most suitable way for condition the dew point inside the tunnel for require value was chosen desiccant rotor Munters.

Specifics of nursing care for the blind patients to standard wards

Bachelor thesis is focused on the specifics of nursing care for the blind patients on standard bed wards. This topic is actual because in the Czech Republic live from 7 000 to 12 000 thousands of blind people. The most frequent reason of blindness is cataract. If these reasons begin to heal in time, blindness can in many cases completely preventable. Blindness is the hardest stage of visual impairment. Blind person suffers from a lack of visual cues that compensates for increased tactile and auditory perception. During a blind person's hospitalization is therefore necessary to respect the specific frequent related to the implementation of individual interventions. For treating blind people is also important that the nursing staff is familiar with when the blind lost his sight. His care must be subordinated to it. It should be realized that the organ of sight is the most important sensor for active and quality life, therefore his protection is important and people must regularly visit an ophthalmologist. The thesis consists of two parts, from the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part includes anatomy and physiology of the visual system, visual defects and their causes, diagnosis and classification of visual impairment. It also focuses on the specifics of nursing care of blind patients in the reception area of the department, the moving inside the hospital, examination, self-care, communication with blind patients, aids for blind patients and organizations for the visually impaired. In relation to the topic were two objectives. The first objective was focused on the specifics of nursing care for the blind on standard bed wards. The second objective was focused on the experiences of blind admissions to the standard bed wards. Based on those targets two research questions have been established. The first research question was focused on finding out the specifics of nursing care of blind patients. The second research question was aimed at finding the experience of blind patients requiring hospitalization. The practical part was processed using qualitative research. The survey was carried out at the Eye Department of the Hospital České Budějovice and the charitable society Tyflo Vysočina Jihlava. The research sample included blind clients who have previously or currently hospitalized in inpatient department. A qualitative survey was conducted through semi-structured interview. Interview contained 20 question divided into four groups. The research sample consisted of nine respondents (R1-R9), four women and five men aged from 27 to 75 years. The data were collected during the months of March and April 2015. Interviews were tape-recorded and then transcribed verbatim. Interviews were transcribed using paper and pencil method and analyzed by open coding. Based on analysis of the data was created 5 categories with several subcategories. Based on analysis of the gathered data can be said that the specifics of nursing care for the blind include patience, cooperation and communication with a blind patient. In this area are health works increased demand especially in the appropriate client familiarization with the hospital environment, providing enough information about various examinations and procedures. According to the respondents the nursing staff communicated correctly in most cases. The blind must be communicated about everything that is done and what will be done. It was also found that the majority of blind respondents have a standard admission to the inpatient department quite a good experience. But they experienced some uncomfortable moments. These moments were associated with theft, defamatory salutation, misperception that if a person can not see, still he can hear. One of the respondents also said the fact that the staff spoke when communicating with accompaniment and not with him. Bachelor thesis will be used for improve in nursing care and will be proposed draft standard for nursing.

Failure wave simulation after the Pastviny dam break

This task deals with an extremely unsteady flow both in the channel and in the flood-plain. Similar solutions of such sudden wave are often unstable and require accurate treatment of boundary conditions and input data. One-dimensional model HEC-RAS was used. Results were evaluated in the ArcView environment.

Types of Senior Housing Focused on Situation in the Zlín Region, Description of Supply and Demand

This bachelor thesis describes issues with housing for elderly people in Czech Republic. It deals with the care for seniors in the system of social services by the Social Services Act No. 108/2006 Coll. and in the health care system. It also describes these two rather separate systems and talks about problems that come from this discreteness. The thesis is also concerned with the flats of special purpose and with housing issue in general. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the demand for services for seniors in the Zlín Region and to consider if the demand is met by a sufficient supply. Predicted demographic changes are also taken into account when considering the situation of services for elderly people and in connection with the expected growing demand. The situation in services for elderly people in Zlín Region was found to be above the average level for the Czech Republic. However it still requires development in many aspects and a connection with the ageing population. This thesis presents the outcome of the survey about the elderly care in concrete municipalities of the Zlín Region. The survey shows that in most of the municipalities considered some kind of care was either already provided or it was planned for the future.
