Bakalářská práce popisuje problematiku forem bydlení pro seniory v České republice. Zabývá se péčí o seniory v systémech sociálních služeb dle zákona č. 108/2006 Sb. o sociálních službách a zdravotní péče. Popisuje také překrývající se působnost těchto systémů a problémy z nich plynoucí. Mimo to se zabývá formami bydlení seniorů v domech zvláštního určení a obecně problematikou bydlení. Práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit poptávku po službách pro seniory ve Zlínském kraji a posoudit, zda jí odpovídá dostatečná nabídka těchto služeb. Při hodnocení stavu sociálních služeb vychází taktéž z očekávaných demografických změn a z nich vyplývající rostoucí poptávce po službách pro seniory. Stav zajištění služeb pro seniory ve Zlínském kraji je zhodnocen jako celorepublikově nadprůměrný, nicméně stále hodný rozvoje nejen v souvislosti se stárnoucí populací. Jako podpora popisu situace zajištění sociálních služeb ve Zlínském kraji je v práci prezentován výstup provedeného šetření péče o seniory v konkrétních obcích tohoto kraje. V rámci tohoto průzkumu bylo zjištěno, že ve většině obcí, jejichž zástupci se šetření zúčastnily, byla k otázce péče o seniory zaujímána aktivní role a zpravidla tak buď již na jejich území byla nějaká forma péče o seniory poskytována, nebo o ní bylo alespoň uvažováno. This bachelor thesis describes issues with housing for elderly people in Czech Republic. It deals with the care for seniors in the system of social services by the Social Services Act No. 108/2006 Coll. and in the health care system. It also describes these two rather separate systems and talks about problems that come from this discreteness. The thesis is also concerned with the flats of special purpose and with housing issue in general. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the demand for services for seniors in the Zlín Region and to consider if the demand is met by a sufficient supply. Predicted demographic changes are also taken into account when considering the situation of services for elderly people and in connection with the expected growing demand. The situation in services for elderly people in Zlín Region was found to be above the average level for the Czech Republic. However it still requires development in many aspects and a connection with the ageing population. This thesis presents the outcome of the survey about the elderly care in concrete municipalities of the Zlín Region. The survey shows that in most of the municipalities considered some kind of care was either already provided or it was planned for the future.
