The Conclusion of a Contract under the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods in Comparison with Czech National Legislation
Krčálová, Kristýna ; Boháček, Martin (advisor) ; Levý, Jan (referee)
This Master's thesis focuses on the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), better known as the Vienna Convention. The main purpose of this thesis is to evaluate conditions for application of this international treaty and to assess the contracting process under the CISG including the similarities and differences with the Czech national legislation. Finally, it seeks an answer to the question, which of these rules (international or national) are more advantageous for a Czech contractual party with respect to concluding a contract. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first one represents an introduction to the CISG, its origin and the Czech Republic's attitude to it. The second part identifies the conditions for application of the CISG and therefore defines a subject and an object of an international contract of sale under the CISG. Both third and fourth parts gradually introduce two phases of the contracting process (offer and acceptance) including the relevant case-law. The last chapter strives to complete the contracting process with an analysis of the exact moment, when a contract is concluded, as well as with an analysis of a potential battle of the forms and its impact on a contract conclusion.

Hanzlovská, Nikola ; Gardášová, Alena (referee) ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (advisor)
The main objective of this diploma thesis is to determine the usual price for a manufacturing facility, by using valuation methods. A secondary aim was to determine best possible use of the building and the development possibilities, according to the results from valuation. Diploma thesis is divided to theoretical and practical part. In theoretical part are detailed valuation methods divided to two main parts, the valuation by price regulation and the market valuation. In the beginning the pratical part describes the location and property. Furthermore I applied valuation method for manufacturing complex. At the conclusion is recapitulation and analysis of results, where are considered diferences and the usual price is set. Swarm Intelligence
Winklerová, Zdenka ; Šaloun, Petr (referee) ; Škrinárová,, Jarmila (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
The intention of the dissertation is the applied research of the collective ( group ) ( swarm ) intelligence . To demonstrate the applicability of the collective intelligence, the Particle Swarm Optimization ( PSO ) algorithm has been studied in which the problem of the collective intelligence is transferred to mathematical optimization in which the particle swarm searches for a global optimum within the defined problem space, and the searching is controlled according to the pre-defined objective function which represents the solved problem. A new search strategy has been designed and experimentally tested in which the particles continuously adjust their behaviour according to the characteristics of the problem space, and it has been experimentally discovered how the impact of the objective function representing a solved problem manifests itself in the behaviour of the particles. The results of the experiments with the proposed search strategy have been compared to the results of the experiments with the reference version of the PSO algorithm. Experiments have shown that the classical reference solution, where the only condition is a stable trajectory along which the particle moves in the problem space, and where the influence of a control objective function is ultimately eliminated, may fail, and that the dynamic stability of the trajectory of the particle itself is not an indicator of the searching ability nor the convergence of the algorithm to the true global solution of the solved problem. A search strategy solution has been proposed in which the PSO algorithm regulates its stability by continuous adjustment of the particles behaviour to the characteristics of the problem space. The proposed algorithm influenced the evolution of the searching of the problem space, so that the probability of the successful problem solution increased.

Supplier management in automotive industry
Holubcová, Romana ; Štůsek, Jaromír (advisor)
In my thesis I deal with the process of Supplier management in automotive industry. Supplier - customer relationship is very important for a success both company and for the global development of the economy too. These relationships must be partnership and support the development of the companies and their each other businesses are beneficial for both sides. In my thesis I analyze current process of the supplier management in the company, what directly supply to OEM. Original Equipment manufacturing (OEM), is the final producer of automobiles, it is mean this company do not produce components but assemble supplied modules. I propose improvements and up-date the directive Strategic purchasing according to results from the analysis.
