Economic and technical aspects of the use of IP telephony in the segment of small and medium-sized businesses
Holásek, Lukáš ; Doležel, Michal (advisor) ; Buchalcevová, Alena (referee)
This work is focused on the introduction of VoIP technology in the environment of small and medium-sized company from techno-economic perspective. The work introduces the VoIP technology in terms of functionality, but also with economic aspects of IP telephony. The aim is to determine whether the transition to VoIP technology may reduce corporate telecommunication costs while contributing to the development of corporate communications. Readers are shown the advantages, but also what the limitations and difficulties are associated with the transition to VoIP technology. The beginning is devoted to basic characterization of classical phone technology, which is good to know when deciding if one should migrate to VoIP. The work also describes the development of the telecommunications market in the Czech Republic in the context of the payment of charges for telecommunications. The practical part analyzes the specific deployment of a VoIP solution to one of Czech companies.

Special diffractive element based on fractals
Kala, Miroslav ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Kotačka, Libor (advisor)
This diploma project is focused on use the fractals in diffractive optical elements. Properties of diffraction patterns of various fractals are investigated. Properties of some simpler non-fractal structures are investigated too. Diffraction patterns are created by computer with program written in Delphi programming language. Potentialities of use the fractals in security optical elements (holograms) and their advantages against the classic non-fractal structures.

Klasická nukleační teorie-Poznámky k parním turbinám
Němec, T. ; Maršík, František
The Classical Nucleation Theory (CNT) is modified to treat a special case of admixtures - electrolytes. Thermodynamic features of aqueous electrolytic solutions are described in a slightly different way from that for ordinary liquid mixtures. Namely, the excess Gibbs energy is expressed in terms of the osmotic coefficient and the mean stochiometric activity coefficient instead of the activity coefficients.

Description of different sorts of HARMONIC-DRIVE gear box
Brus, Jan ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Kolíbal, Zdeněk (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis contains a technical search describing different sorts of harmonic drive gear-boxes. The search is engaged in the description of characteristics and possibilities of the application of particular sorts of harmonic drive gear-boxes, including operating characteristics (graphs), analysis of individual parts and the principle of operation. Further a comparison with other types of commonly used gear-boxes (cycloidal, classical gear-boxes) is presented. In the end the advantages and disadvantages focused on the usage and characteristics are summarized.

Measuring phonological awareness – blend phoneme test in the beginning of schooling: an comparison of classical test theory and item response theory
Gorčíková, M. ; Šafr, Jiří
The main purpose of this paper is to show dis/advantages of two approaches classical test theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT) to assess the level of diagnostic tools for evaluating phonemic awareness among first-grade students using longitudinal survey of children during the first grade of primary school (25 schools in Prague and Central Bohemia, 439 pupils). Phonemic awareness (FA) was measured by the task blend phonemes into syllables and words. The advantage of IRT compared to CTT is primarily a concept of independence of the test items. The probability of a response is dependent on the level of latent ability and characteristics of items. So if we know the characteristic of items parameter (difficulty) it could be estimated from the pupil´s responses the level of language skill for diagnostics. The results showed the need for blend phoneme test modifications (in particular for the end of the first grade) so as to adequately measure the high growth of FA ability levels during the first grade.

Games and the meaning of logical connectives
Majer, Ondrej
The main topic of the article is different understanding of logical connectives in logical systems (this is demonstrated on classical, intuitionistic and linear logic). The article focuses on the question how are the differences between the connectives captured in the game interpretation of the corresponding logical systems and on the adequacy of the game thoretical framework for characterising these differences.

MALE AND FEMALE ELEMENT IN CLASSICAL DANCE
Ličková, Gabriela ; Janeček, Václav (advisor) ; Křenková, Mahulena (referee)
Abstract This master thesis analyses the relation of classical dance to dancers of both female and male sex. The first part briefly describes the history of classical dance, especially in terms of its key personalities, revolutionary moments which somehow influenced the view of ballet dancers from a gender perspective, the development of classical dance technique and pedagogy. The second part consists of a methodical analysis of the elements of classical dance in which both female and male dancers present themselves significantly - females for example by the technique ?sur les pointes?, and males by ?allegro?. In general, it is difficult to determine the strict boundary between the elements performed exclusively by male or female dancers. Nowadays, the differences between the sexes in terms of classical dance technique are vanishing.

Leadership through responsibilities
Vokřínek, Martin ; Sedláček, Jiří (advisor) ; Mareš, Jakub (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to define leadership style called Leadership through responsibilities, show its advantages, disadvantages and offer recommendation, which should result in minimization or complete elimination of disadvantages. Introduced theoretical principle is shown on the company HUB, s.r.o. In the first chapter there are shown theories of leadership, there are introduced classical leadership styles using research of other authors and in this chapter we can also find definition of Leadership through responsibilities in the context of introduced styles of the other authors. In the second chapter we can find explanation of the term Svoboda v práci (literally -- freedom at work), its main characteristics and connection between Svoboda v práci and our examined style. In the third chapter we will introduce the company which will serve as a source of examples for putting Leadership through responsibilities into practice. We will introduce the advantages and disadvantages we found, which will be also accompanied with examples. In the final part of the thesis there are offered recommendations, how to minimize disadvantages. The data used in the research of this leadership model come from personal experience, structured interviews, in-house analyzes and membership questionnaires.

The impact of modern communication tools on international supply chains
Hricko, Ján ; Černohlávková, Eva (advisor) ; Olšanová, Květa (referee)
The subject of my thesis is to clarify main changes in national and international trade that could have been caused by modern communication instruments. Some of these changes have already been used by few retail sellers of light products in Slovakia. Nevertheless such changes are nowadays more and more likely to be seen also among wholesale dealers. I focus on current conditions of international trade and its possible way of development in future in theoretical part of my work. I did not omit even some examples of modern technologies that have been successfully implemented in our daily lives or are likely to be used in a foreseeable future. As a next step I chose to analyze internet communication and its advantages for either seller or customer. I assume that, as far as internet communication is concerned, it is progressively becoming interactive and therefore there is a greater demand on implementing new changes as fast as possible. The next point of my work is to describe typical representatives of market with light products and to analyze their current functions in international trade and ways in which they use their modern communication tools. In conclusion if we did not take a few well-known and also some new sellers into consideration, it could be said that modern technologies mentioned above have not yet been used by "classic" sellers. These sellers are not capable of implementing such methods quickly enough and this could, in my opinion, result in a considerable problem in future.
