Factors affecting composition of goat milk
PECOVÁ, Lenka
The Bachelor thesis deals with composition of goat milk and effects influencing changes in the composition of goat milk. Goat milk is a product, quality of which is affected by a large number of factors. The outcome of this thesis is classified information about factors affecting the amount and composition of produced goat milk; the factors are divided into three main categories - biological factors, nutritional factors and factors of technology and management. Nutritional factors, in particular amount, quality and nutritional properties of feed and water, most affect the amount and composition of produced milk. Another essential factor is a genetic disposition which includes the individuality of the goat, its breed and pedigree. Among the other significant factors which affect quality of goat milk, we can classify health, age, lactation phase, technology and hygiene of milking, housing and treatment and a climate. Less important factor is e.g. earliness of weaning kids. All the factors are interconnected. Neglecting several less important factors can significantly negatively affect the composition of goat milk even though extraordinary care will be given to factors that are considered essential (and vice versa). Therefore it is important to take into consideration all factors involved, from the process of creation of goat milk to its manufacture.

Rückl, Josef ; Procházka, Pavel (advisor) ; Strejček, Ivo (referee)
The bachelor thesis focuses on applying of behavioural economics to economic policy. The thesis introduces behavioural economics as a school of economic thought and an idea of libertarian paternalism, which supports applying of behavioural economics to economic policy. Theoretical findings are applied to two fields - pension systems and environmental policy. I research behavioural factors that affect these two fields of economic policy. Furthermore I suggest alternatives how to eliminate some of these factors and how to increase efficiency of chosen systems.

Development of interest rates in the mortgage market in the Czech Republic between 2006-2016
Ditrichová, Gabriela ; Strejček, Ivo (advisor) ; Klement, Josef (referee)
This bachelor's thesis is focused on the development of interest rates in the mortgage market in the Czech Republic in the decade between 2006 and 2016. A strong economic growth between 2006 and 2007, which had positive effects in the mortgage loan market, was followed by a deep slump in the form of global financial crisis unleashed by speculations in the real estate market in the U.S. The main aim of the work is based on the development of mortgage interest rates and the significant factors that affect their amount - to verify or disprove the hypothesis that interest rates respond to changes of these factors. The results confirm the hypothesis only in certain areas. The influence of changes of interest rates has been proven in the case of inflation and discount rates by usage of the econometric model. Factors that have not shown a significant direct influence of interest rates may have an indirect influence on their change.

The Controlling Study
Herda, Tomáš ; Mikovcová, Hana (advisor) ; Herda, Zdeněk (referee)
The main goal of this Diploma´s Thesis is to make a model for calculation of water and sewer rates for the company Vodovody a kanalizace Náchod, a.s. when sticking to the set criteria both from the side of VaK Náchod, a.s. and law regulations. Based on the theoretical part an analysis of customer sensitivity to the price changes using the data for last 20 years follows. Findings from the first two parts are used in risk analysis in next part. The created model calculates the water and sewer rates based on the information from the company accounting system in the way to generate sufficient financial resources to fulfill the renovation plan of infrastructural property plant and equipment and to transfer given amount to the company funds. In addition, the model monitors whether the legal condition of maximal allowable increase of profit per m3 is met. In the customer sensitivity to the price changes part the price elasticity of demand for water and sewer rates is calculated based on the data from 1995 to 2015. The assumption of inelastic demand is confirmed. Risk analysis part is deals with potential risk regarding the demand and prices. Potential impacts for the most significant risk are quantified. The analysis uses knowledge gained in the first two parts. It was confirmed that potential risks are exiting but do not have any significant impact on the going concern of VaK Náchod, a.s. The created model has been already used for the calculation of prices for the year 2017. Customer sensitivity analysis to the price changes and link to the potential risks is an additional information for VaK Náchod, a.s. which validates that nowadays, there are no significant threats which could affect the demand and water and sewer rates significantly.

Anti-Plague texts in the late Middle Ages and the Early modern period.
PAMPUSCHOVÁ, Marie
The theme of this work are late medieval and early modern time anti-plague treatises and official regulations against plague. In times when many countries and even continents were affected by plague, many city councils and rulers themself had the treatises printed in order to reduce the risk of transmission of the infection and development of the illness. The treatises adjusted regulations of towns and villages. These official decrees against plague were supplemented with plague treatises that were written for inhabitants of towns affected by black death. Many of them were written in Latin and therefore incomprehensible to uneducated people. It changed when a doctor Jan Černý wrote such a treatise in Czech language. The treatises advised not only how to prevent plague but also how to treat it. I divided my work into two parts. In the first part I describe particular plague epidemics that took place especially in Bohemia and Moravia. I progressed chronologically from antiquity to the 18th century and described whole course of epidemics in various regions. In the second part I focused mainly on different ways how these treatises deal with prevention and treatment of the disease. I made a comparison of various plague treatises from Prague, České Budějovice and Nepomuk. In order to gather data and informations I focused on historical sources and literature that give us informations from people who had first-hand experience of plague. I do the overall comparison and critique of these sources in seperate chapter. I believe this work can work as an educational material for students and teacher

The role of tubulin transport between the nucleus and the cytoplasm
Bokvaj, Pavel ; Schwarzerová, Kateřina (advisor) ; Zažímalová, Eva (referee)
Tubulin is the basic building block of microtubules which ensure intracellular transport, morphological changes, the connection of proteins of metabolic pathways, the segregation of chromosomes during mitosis and many other essential processes in plant cells. The localization of tubulin regarding nucleus is strictly controlled and during the interphase, tubulin is usually not present in the nucleus. As we previously showed, one of the exceptions of the presence of tubulin in the nucleus is the cold stress condition. Also, we discovered several plant-specific nuclear export sequences (NES) in tubulin molecules: one in α-tubulin and two in β-tubulin. In this work I found that double mutation of both functional β-tubulin NESes cause slight accumulation of the protein in the nuclei. However, the phenotype of the transgenic plants expressing β-tubulin with mutations is probably not affected by the presence of the mutated protein. The effect of the expression of the mutated β-tubulins was observed in Nicotiana tabacum BY-2 cells as well. The expression of β-tubulin carrying a single NES3 mutation or double mutation of both NESes bring changes of the division activity of the cells, while the NES2 mutation does not have any effect. Furthermore, it was discovered that the 0řC cold tr eatment does not cause...

The Finnish Landscape Photography and Its Role in Helsinki School

The Role of a Nurse in Care of a Patient with Mononucleosis
LAŽANSKÁ, Soňa
Theoretical background Infectious mononucleosis belongs to relatively widespread viral infectious diseases in the Czech Republic. Epstein-Baar virus (EBV) participates in occurrence of the infection by 80 %, infectious mononucleosis may more rarely be caused by cytomegalovirus. Each individual factually suffers from infection caused by EBV during his/her life, however its course is unapparent in most cases. An affected individual or an individual not affected, who is a virus carrier may be considered the source of the infection. Infectious mononucleosis usually affects children and teenagers, in older individuals the infection is quite rare. The disease might start rapidly or gradually with prodromes like headache, sore throat, nausea, fatigue and perspiration. Infectious mononucleosis is often confused with other diseases like e.g. tonsillitis, or more serious progress of flue, particularly for the symptoms accompanying the disease. Fever, lymphadenopathy and hepatosplenomegaly are the most frequent symptoms. The disease may also cause numerous unpleasant complications, particularly hematologic, neurologic, cardio-pulmonary and autoimmunity complications. A nurse plays a very substantial role in client care. It is very important for a nurse to have sufficient knowledge and to know the right procedure of all interventions he/she meets within diagnostics and treatment of infectious mononucleosis. These are particularly biological material collection, per os administration or intravenous administration of medicines. A nurse should also be familiar with the Priessnitz compress application technique. In non-self-sufficient clients a nurse is also responsible for client's hygiene. A nurse has an important role in client education providing information on dietetic measures. A nurse has to lead a client to adherence to the prescribed diet and body calm. Everything depends on client's current condition. A client should also avoid mental strain during convalescence. We should note that not all forms of infectious mononucleosis require hospitalization. The aim of the thesis The aim of the thesis was to find out the role of nurses in the care of patients with infectious mononucleosis and also to find how satisfied patients with the nursing care and education are after going through mononucleosis. This was why the following research questions were chosen: What is the role of a nurse in care of a patient with mononucleosis? How satisfied are patients with the nursing care after going through mononucleosis? How satisfied are patients with education in diet regime adherence after going through mononucleosis? Applied Methods Qualitative research was chosen for finding out the required information. The information was gained by means of deep interviews with nurses working at the infectious department of České Budějovice Hospital and with clients after going through infectious mononucleosis. All the interviews were recorded on a voice recorder and then transcribed. The transcribed interviews were subject to detailed analysis by the paper and pencil method with open coding. Results Six categories were set upon analysis of the interviews with nurses: Awareness of the infectious mononucleosis disease among nurses, Nursing care of a client with infectious mononucleosis, Regime measures, Information on dietetic measures, Recommendations after infectious mononucleosis and Education of a client with infectious mononucleosis. Five categories were set upon detailed analysis of the interviews with the clients: Recommended treatment, Nursing care, Recommended measures, Methods of information communication and Information sources for clients. Subcategories, in which the key data are coded, are assigned to the individual categories.

Family housing decision-making

This thesis is concerned with choosing the best and most real estate mortgage loans for family with children. The family should be chosen property near his residence momentary, then it should be recommended for this property the best mortgage loan. Selecting the property was affected by the demands of all family members and subsequent mortgage loans was selected from the products offered on the Czech market in November 2016. The thesis can be thematically divided into three main parts. The first part includes a literature search, which is divided into two areas. First described methods of multi-criteria decision making, which will be used in the decision making process. Along with these methods includes a literature review and theoretical part of the program area Super Decisions, which will be used in the practical part. Furthermore, theoretically they recognized concepts related to mortgage loans, according to which are then laid down criteria for assessing mortgage loans. The second part contains already a practical perspective on family issues, which therefore includes the selection of the best and most real estate mortgage loan program with the help of Super Decisions. The third part includes a summary of the work and the interpretation of results obtained through the program Super Decisions.
