Evalution of the links between the elements of territorial systems.

This tesis is focused on a comparison of the major elements of territorial systems. That means an existing state before planned comprehensive land consolidation and expected state after comprehensive land consolidation. This was followed by evaluation of the links between the elements. These are erosions measures, regional system of ecological stability, road network, and water management measures. After selecting the area of interest I made detailed field research and I evaluated the condition of the road network and the hydric skeleton of the landscape. The evaluation was mainly focused on technical condition of roads and watercourses. Then I dealed with the proposed measures, in which I reviewed whether they are sufficient for the given area. Finally I discussed the possibilities of extending the proposed measures, especially the perspective of comprehensive land consolidation.

Institutional financing principles

The system of funding research institutions from public resources in the Czech Republic has undergone a complicated development since 1990 and, particularly during the last decade, arrived at a very unsatisfactory state. The decision process about which organisations should receive institutional support for R&D, and at which level, lacks strategic information. It relies on mere mechanical recording of outputs, with the rules changing every year, and ad hoc measures must then compensate for serious flaws. One of the main goals of the Individual National Project “Effective Evaluation and Financing System for Research, Development and Innovation” is to propose mechanisms for effective public funding of research institutions based on a new evaluation system and emphasizing excellence, motivation and medium-term stability.

Analysis of Situation of Non-governmental Organizations in the Sphere of Consumer Protection

The consumer protection is very topical area because it has reference to the majority of citizens which are consumers, producers and also salespersons. Shoping and using services is everyday activity for all of us but it bears some risks to shoppers especially from sellers and that is why should be the consumer protection priority for every one and the society should take actions to improve it. The role of consumer organizations is crucial as the role as agency which offer important information and gives advice to the consumers in situation in which their rights are in repressed or in danger. Those organizations are participating in the education of consumers. The main objective of the diploma paper {$\neg$}{\clq}qThe analysis of the position of non-governmental organizations in the area of consumer protection`` is to implement the research in area of knowledge of consumer organizations from the side of consumers and the research of consumer interest in membership in such organizations. The fragmental objectives were to evaluate the contemporary situation in consumer organization in the Czech market using the questionary research and propose the possible solutions that will help to improve the present state. The theoretical part refers to the consumer protection. In the practical part are discribed best known consumer organizations in the Czech Republic. There are also characterised results from the questionary research and from the comperative analysis of main actions of organizations. The results of the questionary research showed that the consumer protection is not strong enough. The problems are not only legislative, but the main problem is that consumers aren´t informed enough about their rights and about consumer organizations. My suggestions faces particularly for better awareness of consumers about consumer organizations and their role in the Czech market. My recommendations are to improve awareness of consumers from the side of consumer organizations, and their rights by using of communication medias and to introduce new ways of propagation of consumer organizations. Very important is also the good motivation for new members in those organizations etc. The level of the consumer protection is not still on the same high level as in the more advanced states in EU. The consumers have not big consciousness of the consumer organizations and their role in the market and of the possible help from the side of those organizations.

Image of Skeleton in the South Bohemian legends

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to capture the differences and to find the similarities in the legend of Skeleton of Chynov, which is compiled in many varieties. For the analysis I have chosen the oldest version of the legend, which was printed in the magazine Český lid by František Domorázek. Another adaptation was captured by Radovan Krátký. Finally, Hynek Klimek was also interested in this legend. I pay close attention to the analysis of the main motifs which are typical in individual adaptations. I also try to characterise the characters which appear in the legend, the motivation for their behaviour and moral lesson. Moreover, I explain the term of legend. The aim is to compare the three interpretations by means of motifs and to find similar legends of Southern Bohemia.

Representations of Death in the Nineteenth-Century Literature across Main Discourses

Presented bachelor thesis is focused on a form and a function of a theme of death in representative texts of main literary discourse of Czech literature of 19th century. Romanticism is represented by Mácha's Marinka, biedermeier by Němcová's Babička. The example of realism is presented by Kalibův zločin by Karel Václav Rais and naturalism can be found in a book by Josef Karel Šlejhar named Kuře melancholik. Introductory literature is dedicated to changes of the theme of death in the historical development of literature and in the development of the mankind itself. Following chapters interpret chosen books, which are compared in the last chapter of this thesis. At the end are summarized the most important knowledge, which were found during work.

Geodetic operations during realization of the new construction project

The thesis is focused on description of all geodetic operations, which need to be done before, during and after realization of a new construction project. The goal of this thesis is charting and orientation of a new construction project and following completion of the documentation for bureau of construction and the land registry. The theoretical part is aimed on common geodetic operations, which are devided into five main colums - Surveying operations for preparations and design of the new buildings, surveying operations carried out during design and completion of buildings, surveying operations for documentation and operational functionality of the buildings, other surveying activities and operations in land registry for constructions. In the practical part, the operations carried out during documents completion are described. This documentation serves for registration of a new object into the land registry and is also needed for building permission and final approval from the bureau of construction.

The response of Norway spruce and European beech's photosynthetic apparatus to some stress factors - comparative study

In the context of expected climate changes is more and more important to study how will species of present ecosystems react to this changes. Thus this study is focused on reactions of two main forest tree species of Central Europe ? Norway spruce (Piacea abies L.) and European beech (Fagus sylvatica L.) ? to water stress, higher quantity of N in soil, combination of theese stress factors and heat stress. The effects of stress were monitored on maximal photochemical efficiency of PS II (Fv / Fm) and on contents of photosynthetic pigments. It was found that Norway spruce is more resistant to all mentioned stress factors than European beech.

Principles of cultivation and possibilities of utilization of Miscanthus

Methodics is based on own and external experience with growing of miscanthus. Methodics presents overview on botanical characteristics of the plant, requiremenf of the plant on site conditions, farming techniques including fertilization, crop establishment, plant protection till harvest and postharvest treatment. The survey of main possibilities of utilization of miscanthus is presented.

The concept evaluation of dairy cattle nutrition

Bachelor thesis gives a comprehensive overview of the dairy cow nutrition and assesses the system of nutrition and feeding in relation to milk production. The main part is devoted to the basics of dairy cow nutrition, the main nutrient requirements and composition of feed diets. There was assessed composition of feed rations for the year 2010 in working conditions on the School farm Měšice. The recommendations were designed to improve the nutrition level on the farm on the based data.
