Controlling and visualization of operational parameters of growth chambers

In the thesis I outlined principles and ways of physical values regulation with the goal of the most efficient cultivation of the plants. Pursuant to identified facts I chose and programmed way of growth cabinet control in PLC AMiNi2DS. To access relevant data and possibilities of adjustment I also created SCADA and HMI. In conclusion I created manual for operating the device and software for acquainted people.
Equipment for automatic watering of plants

This bachelor project deals with design of converter of soil moisture into usable data format using moisture sensors and microcontroller Silicon Laboratories C8051F120 series and evaluation kit to care for plants, especially their irrigation. Furthermore, the project deals with the development of software modules for converters operation and operation of irrigation.
Automated measuring system for irrigating plants with IoT connectivity

This bachelor thesis deals with IoT networks and considers their use as part of embedded devices. The purpose of this device is to control the flower bed or garden based by data from sensors monitoring the environment. The device not only controls the irrigation operation itself, but also sends all traffic data over the IoT LoRa network. Thus, the device also functions as a weather station, as all data are sent to a second device that acts as a receiver. This receiver displays the data and also sends them to the Internet, where the data are publicly available. The module for sending and measuring data is mounted on its own PCB and is covered in a waterproof cover, so they can be operated outdoors. There is an integrated battery, which is a backup of savings in case of power failure. The battery is designed to back up power for 25 days.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of sanitary installations and the gas pipeline. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on green roofs and their function, runoff coefficient C, retention capacity and irrigation of this type of roofs. It also deals with drainage of green roofs and dimensioning of emergency overflows. The design and calculation part deals with specific solutions for sewerage, water and gas pipelines in a multifunctional building and their connection to existing utilities. The solved object is located on the territory of Otrokovice. The building has three floors and no basement.

Vertikální konstrukce pro pěstování interiérových rostlin

The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of indoor vertical vegetable constructions. Literature research part is mainly focused on modern trends and types of realizations of this vegetable element. Author gave himself a goal to categorise vertical vegetable constructions by the type of growing medium which is used. Thesis also deals with the description of realization of the experiment on the vertical vegetable construction in the public space inside the Kabinet múz club in Brno city. There is described the work procedure and also used materials and reasons for choosing them. In the last part of the thesis author contemplates mainly about succes rate of the experiment and pros and cons of conventionaly used systems of vertical vegetable constructions.
The effect of irrigation with treated wastewater on the development of soil hydrophobicity

In this work I have dealt with the influence of irrigation with treated wastewater on the development of soil hydrophobicity. In the theoretical part I deal with the influence of using treated wastewater on the development of hydrophobicity in soils irrigated in such manner, the methods used for measurement and in general the benefits and risks of application of treated wastewater to soil. In the practical part, I focused on measuring hydrophobicity using the Water Drop Penetration Time (WDPT) method. Soil samples originated from the Hostětín, where a long-term irrigation test with treated wastewater is underway. For the purpose of testing the WDPT method, soil samples taken at the beginning of the experiment (in 2018) were used, as well as long-term irrigated samples with treated wastewater from the constructed wetland under laboratory conditions. As a control served irrigation with well water and part of the samples from both variants was additionally irrigated with rainwater, which simulated the amount of precipitation that fell on average in the Zlín Region during the experiment. The water used for this experiment came from a constructed wetland close to the Perlová voda complex near Kostelec nad Ohří in the Ústí Region. The samples were irrigated for one year. Our bachelor work deals with the difficulty of natural additional soil substances, their basic classification and particular types. We tried to describe the basic features of these substances, their importance in a substrate. We were concerned with the issue of tree nursery, its history and present in Czech Republic and Slovakia. The work also mentions planting of decorative wood species in containers.
