Mlátilíková, Eva ; Lukeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Fajfr, Marek (referee)
In thesis "The message and life of Jesus Christ - pedagogic preparation of curriculum according to Bavarian Lehrnplan for religion classes of German high schools" I've delft into exegesis of selected themes from the New Testament theology. When working with the New Testament, I baist my research according to handling of text named "Kulturwisssenshaft", which was developed by prof. dr. Sandra Huebenthal of Passau University. I chose this method because I had the opportunity to attend course by prof. dr. Heubenthal, which dealt with these aforementioned method. For each subject I prepared pedagogical materials for religion classes. I thought about how would I approach teaching these subjects. I chose such teaching methods with which I have personal experience from using them in practice.
Baroque nobleman under the protection of five stars
SCHWARZ, Jan
This bachelor thesis deals with the relationship of Adam Franz of Schwarzenberg towards the saint John of Nepomuk. Its main focus lies particularly on the role of the saint in the nobleman's mentality and how it influenced his expressions of piety. It puts emphasis on the form of the Schwarzenberg domain under the influence of the Nepomucean cult. The author analyses the causes and consequences of Schwarzenberg's intimate relationship towards the mentioned saint, which was fully demonstrated during the festivity of the saint's canonisation, to which the author gave a thorough attention. This bachelor thesis doesn't focus only at a concrete noble individual but tries to capture the collective mentality of the baroque man, shaped especially by his religious experiences.
History of Římov pilgrimage site
ŠRUBAŘ, Štěpán
The thesis describes the history of the foundation of pilgrimage site Římov in southern Bohemia in the 17th century that could be build thanks to a donation of the local farm to the Jesuit College in Krumlov. The most significant proponents were a Capuchin monk Alex and a Jesuit lay brother John Gurre. The area consists of a chapel built in close resemblance to the Italian model of Holy House in Loreto and a Way of Sorrows designed as a copy of the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem. The work shows the significance of sacred architecture in the life of Christians in the 17th century. The role of fraternities and Marian spirituality in traditional piety of Catholics of that period is also mentioned. Based on the regular annual reports sent by every Jesuit College, unusual events accompanying the first decades of the shrine as well as the economic issues of the Jesuit residence are described.
Marian Songs of Sepekov
Farová, Marie ; Stříteská, Leona (advisor) ; Palkovská, Jana (referee)
The Marian songs of Sepekov is the title for a handwritten Hymnal, which nobody comprehensivly examined and never publish. I discovered this manuscript when I was researching materials for my Bacherol thesis. The hymnal contains 489 czech-language pages from which I composed 43 songs with the organs accompaniment or songs in a four-part adjustment. The transcript od melodic line, next processing of melody and composition of polyphony give the readers an insight into the period of the formation of manuscript and it zooms miracles for which the manuscript was created. The historical events, which were accured in 18th century in Sepekov and were an integral part of the life of people from sepekov, are component of Marian songs. The whole Hymnal is built on devotion, supplication, prayers and the love of the pilgrims to Pana Marie from Sepekov. The pilgrimages, which they performed to this marian's place, were a seal of approval of their belief and it was culmination of their spiritual life for most of them.

Věchtová, Irena ; Sládek, Miloš (advisor) ; Matějec, Tomáš (referee)
The reflection of childhood in Baroque miracles This Master's thesis aims to capture the reflection of childhood in miraculously answered prayers of the Baroque era. It works with a representative sample of cases, which was collected from several diverse Czech and Moravian pilgrimage sites (Karlov in Prague, Church of Our Lady Victorious with the statue of Infant Jesus of Prague, Hájek, Sázava, Chlum sv. Máří, Chrudim, Dobruška, Svatý Kopeček u Olomouce, and Křtiny). The sample thus comprises children coming from various environments and social strata. The records referring to miraculous answers to prayer are taken from manuscripts as well as from printed books of the period related to religious pilgrimages. The individual chapters outline the main aspects of Baroque-era children's lives found therein. The thesis first analyses issues associated with the birth of new life - the infertility of married couples, miscarriages, or complications during pregnancy, giving birth and childbed. A significant part of the thesis is given over to childhood illnesses - an extremely serious issue of the early modern era. Attention is also paid to diverse accidents and injuries of children. In addition, matters concerning adolescent and adult offspring are presented (the world of work duties, various wrongdoings, problems...
