Map editing application working with GPS module
Plch, Jan ; Kubánek, David (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This thesis deals with theoretical design and practical realization of map editing application. The first chapter is focused on theoretical explanation of the most important terms in GPS describing basic principles and position monitoring possibilities. Further is described block scheme of GPS receiver. Next chapter describes NMEA 0183 protocol which is used for data transfer between GPS module and application. At the end of theoretical part is some information about geodetic system WGS-84 and files for trace recording. Application is creating in .NET Compact Framework in C# language. Application is able to load map in image format. Trace from specific file format can be displayed into map. Application can show currently recording trace too. Trace can be divided on segments according to type roads. Weak signal in record trace can be modified by correction methods. At the end of this thesis are instructions to using created application.
Mobile Application for Travelling Support
Kubiš, Radim ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Očenášek, Pavel (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis describes the design and implementation of application for travellers. The application is built on the Android mobile platform, uses the GPS module of device and requires the Internet access for most functions. The user of this application may track his waypoints, search for services around, look up current exchange rates of world currencies, record travel costs, access to the online translator, publish informations from journey to Facebook, display information about GPS position and display actual address. The application uses Google maps, the static data are stored in SQLite database, works with asynchronous tasks and is written in the Java programming language. The thesis also describes testing of the application and the possibilities of its further development.
Adding Geographic Coordinates Based on Track Record to Photographs
Mareš, Jiří ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Semerád, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to fill photos metadata with geographic coordinates using a track record obtained from the GPS system. Besides the automated process, users are given the ability to modify or fill the data themselves through a map canvas with the recorded track. The goal is to implement simple user-friendly application for this purpose. The Application was created using the Java programming language and this allows for great multiplatform compatibility.
Web-Based GPS Data Publishing System
Hamšík, Filip ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
This thesis focuses on development of a web application that allows the management and publishing of recorded tracks in GPX format on the Mapy.cz map data. For each track, it is possible to show the elevation profile, add photos to the given locations and other information. The application can be installed on user's server with an optional change of appearance or functionality.
Visualization of Route Information and Elevation Profile
Elman, Michal ; Šilhavá, Jana (referee) ; Kubíček, Radek (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is design and implementation of application for visualization of elevation profile and track information. GPS devices record track trace to GPX file which is opened in the application. The statistical indicators are calculated from input data, elevation profile is shown as a graph and track is painted on free maps OpenStreetMap. This work describes the entire application development from analysis through design to implementation.
