Drop forging of pinion
Cvrček, Jan ; Dvořák, Milan (referee) ; Štroner, Marek (advisor)
The final project has been elaborated in a frame of Bachelor’s studies branch Manufacturing technology assesses design of production pinion by method of die forging. The pinion is manufactured from alloyed structural steel 14 220 (1.7131). Size of production is set on 100 000 pieces per year. The pinion will be forged on the vertical forging press LMZ 1000 A with forming force 10 MN. The forging is formed in two operations. Forming tool is manufactured from alloyed instrumental steel 19 552 (1.2343). In the last chapter of the project is described the price comparison and costs for manufacture of die forging and machining.
Forging of the "lock-bolt"
Frýdl, Pavel ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
To lock-bolt manufacturing was selected technology of die forging. Lock-bolt is made of 11375 steel in a series of 2700 pieces per year. With the use of literary studies and practical knowledge has been developed technological process fittings. It includes the draft instrument stainless steel 19663 including drawings. Forging is performed on a hydraulic-pneumatic hammer KJH 2 with a nominal value of 20 kJ impact work. Blanks are cut from bars 30 mm 6 m long to bars 52.2 mm long. The techno-economic evaluation shows that the price of a forging is 4,71 CZK and for production will be need 24 pieces of bars.
Design of wheel hub production
Zahálka, Tomáš ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The subject of this thesis was to propose a possible way of production for a wheel hub on the front axle of VAZ 2101 made out of steel 12 050. Based on the accesible technologies was selected a volume thermoforming technology, specifically drop forging for its positive impact on mechanical features of forging. Construction of the die cnforms to the norm ČSN 22 8308 with closed spout groove. The forging is done by a hammer KHZ 8A, with an impact energy of 80 kJ. Dies, upper and lower, made of tool steel 19 552, tempered to 54 HRC.
Forging oblong forgings
Příkaský, Jakub ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The project deals with the design of the production of a rod-shaped component using a die swage. The material is steel 12 060. Based on a literature study on forging and calculations, the forging, the technological process and the hammer die were designed. Based on the calculated work required, the power hammer KHZ 2 was designed. Technical and economic evaluation was performed.
Precision forging
Bužga, Petr ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The thesis deals with methods, procedures and possibilities of precision forging. After the initial analysis methods of die forging with collar also comprises an overview, analysis and description of methods of precision forging, including a technological evaluation in view of technical possibilities, investment requirements and expected benefits. The main emphasis is laid on the technological conditions, procedure, on the construction of the dies and forging devices.
Production of the piston rod eye
Vahala, Jiří ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The project deal with technology design of production of the piston rod eye from steel 11 523 in the amount of 30 000 pieces. From various possibilities of technology was chosen as the most optimal method the technology die forging. Pursuant to the study of literature and calculations there will be made the forging as a double-edged in single-cavity die on hammer witch several hits in finishing hollow. According to the calculated energy there was selected pneumatic-hydraulic hammer KHZ-4A witch stated energy of 40kJ. The tool was made of steel 19 552, heat-treated according to the drawing documentation. The technical and economical evaluation was focused on the total material cost of the semi-finished material and the cost of manufacturing forging die, which is 1 229 507 CZK in total.
Sinumerik tools for programming of CNC machine tool
Chytil, Tomáš ; Sámelová, Vendula (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the usage of possible ways of the Sinumerik system for programming of the form of the drop forging. The first part of the thesis contains of the characteristics of the part and its function in the composition. In the second part there is all the proper visual documentation. The following parts of this piece of work is devoted to the history and specification of the Sinumerik control system and a suggestion on how to make a forging die.The next part is contributed to the possible ways of how to produce a form in the Sinumerik system. The final part deals with the very formation of the programme and its graphic simulation.
Production of chain wheel
Haltmar, Vojtěch ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the production of chain wheel using the method of die forging. The wheel is made of C45 steel and is a part of the transmission of construction machinery. Based on the required mechanical properties of the component and batch production which amounts 20,000 pieces per year, three operations die forging is proposed for the production. An intermediate good for the production of the wheel is a cylindrical block with a 50 mm diameter and length of 100 mm. The forming machine for the production is vertical forging press LMZ 1600 P/SH with the nominal force of 16 MN. The trimming press LKOA 200 with the nominal force of 2 MN is used to remove the excess material. Forging dies are produced from tool steel ČSN 19 650 and are based on the technical drawings. The thesis also compares the production of chain wheel by machining and die forging concluding that the use of die forging method saves an amount of 42 CZK per piece.
Precision forging
Alrawi, Hassan ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Lidmila, Zdeněk (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis describes the characteristics of precision forging and forgings followed by the prerequisites necessary for the implementation of technology. In the following sections the theoretical and technological basis of individual methods is discussed which includes closed die forging, isothermal forging, and finally rotary forging. Also, their advantages and disadvantages and practical use was considered. For future development it is necessary to implement the automation of the entire production process in order to optimize the process as best as possible. There is also a possibility of a large-scale development of new processes to replace some of the existing methods
Design of crane hook production
Horák, Tomáš ; Štroner, Marek (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of the production of a crane hook made of C45 steel. After evaluating suitable technologies, die forging on a mechanical press was chosen. Based on the analysis of technological technology, the shape of the part was modified and all necessary additions and limit deviations of forging dimensions were determined. The semi-finished product with a diameter of 65 mm and a length of 380 mm will be formed on a cross wedge rolling mill, bent on a separate press and subsequently forged. The crank forging press LZK 3150 B from the company ŠMERAL Brno a. S., With a nominal forming force of 31.5 MN, was chosen from the calculated forming force. The construction of the dies is based on the ČSN 22 8306 standard and they are made of 19,552 steel with subsequent heat treatment.
