Persian corridor to the USSR with American help under the Lend and Lease Act

This paper deals with the theme of the Persian Corridor, one of the supply routes selected for the support of the Soviet Union by Western Allies during the Second World War. The aim is to determine whether this assistance could have a major impact on the conduct of Eastern Front combat operations. The pre-war situation in Iran and Iraq and the relationship of these countries with the Word powers is described at the beginning of the thesis. At the same time, the importance of this region is explained from a strategic point of view. The second part of the thesis is divided into four chapters, each about the individual years of war and the events that took place in the region of Iraq and Iran. Each of these chapters lists the events directly affecting the supplies of war material and its quantity transported in that year. At the same time, each charter presents a description of the events that influenced the situation in the Soviet Union over the period, from the most important battles to the development of weapons production and material losses. The last charter summarizes the data provided in previous chapters and shows the overall picture of deliveries in individual years and their total volume. The Funding of the British Navy during the Second World War

This bachelor thesis analyzes the funding of the British Navy during the Second World War, whose beginning meant necessary mobilization and restructuring for the funding. The thesis focuses on transformation of the Royal Navy into the state of war, and the problems, that this transformation has caused. The thesis is based on well-known fact, that the United Kingdom was considered as a naval superpower. Detail focus in the thesis goes to assuring of the resources for the function of the navy, and to the production programs themselves. The goal of my thesis was to find out, how the Admiralty and other institutions manage to ensure the Navy, what kind of tools they used and how the Royal Navy stood during the war in comparison to its competitors and other components of Armed Forces.
Nation at war. Economic development of Great Britain during the Second World War (1939-1945).

My bachelor thesis focuses on analysis of Great Britain economy in years 1939-1945. Great Britain with W. Churchill in charge was important world power in this time. In part one, author looks into beginnings of war economy and its implications. The turning point was 1941, when Great Britain is financially exhausted and there was Lend-Lease Act approved in the USA; part two of thesis analyse this law and its impacts on Great Britain. Third and the last part of work, which beside the analysis of the economy concentrates also on the political scene of Great Britain, culminating by analysis of turning general election in 1945, which were surprisingly won by left-wing party.
