Tato práce analyzuje financování britského loďstva za druhé světové války, jejíž začátek pro něj znamenal nutnou mobilizaci a restrukturalizaci. Zaměřuje se na přechod Royal Navy do válečného stavu a na problémy s ním vzniklé. Vychází ze známé skutečnosti, že Velká Británie platila před druhou světovou válkou za námořní velmoc. Práce se detailněji soustředí na zajištění prostředků na fungování loďstva a na samotné výrobní programy. Cílem mé práce bylo zjistit jak se Admiralitě a dalším institucím dařilo loďstvo zabezpečit, jaké k tomu využívaly nástroje a jak si Royal Navy stálo v průběhu války v porovnání se svými konkurenty a dalšími složkami branné moci. This bachelor thesis analyzes the funding of the British Navy during the Second World War, whose beginning meant necessary mobilization and restructuring for the funding. The thesis focuses on transformation of the Royal Navy into the state of war, and the problems, that this transformation has caused. The thesis is based on well-known fact, that the United Kingdom was considered as a naval superpower. Detail focus in the thesis goes to assuring of the resources for the function of the navy, and to the production programs themselves. The goal of my thesis was to find out, how the Admiralty and other institutions manage to ensure the Navy, what kind of tools they used and how the Royal Navy stood during the war in comparison to its competitors and other components of Armed Forces.
