Financing of Public Building Order from the Aspect of Supplier

Financing of construction contracts is one of the most important phases, where aim of every construction company, is to achieve the highest profit, thus ensuring the business. To the financing of construction contracts are used the own and mostly foreign sources. The procurement is linked with using subsidies from the European Union. In the theoretical part of this thesis there are described the basic concepts relating to public contracts pursuant to Act No. 137/2006 Sb. and financing, both in terms of suppliers and contracting authorities and the actual course of implementation. The practical part deals with the financing of specific public construction contract.

Real Estate and Related Judicature

The thesis maps the decision-making practice of courts in real estate cases and related areas. Judicial decisions are organized in logical parts and there was an effort to provide an overall and comprehensive overview of the opinions held by courts on the individual legal questions arising in real estate cases and thus define the most frequent causes of the disputes and their subject-matters. Explicated in the light of the decisions rendered by the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic and the Supreme Administrative Court of the Czech Republic, or even the findings of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, are judiciary’s attitudes to the basic principles of real estate agency and real estate activity in general, as well as to relating legal questions, with special regard to the contracts usually entered into in real estate practice, primarily agency contracts and mediated contracts. So far, case-law of this kind has not been comprehensively studied, despite the fact that there still are uncertainties regarding both the real estate legislation and the approach to resolution of real estate cases, as well as ensuing typical contractual obligational relations between parties on the real estate market. This is also the reason why this particular topic was chosen for the thesis. Based on the coverage and a thorough analysis of the judicial decisions at issue a conclusion is made that decision-making practice has already stabilized in some real estate areas and these decisions are used as basis in future cases. Nevertheless, there still are some legal questions which have not yet been tackled by courts or conflicting judicial decisions, which may even be rendered in the most essential and fundamental issues of real estate activity. This is partly due to the fact that the real estate market is still a relatively young business field and partly due to missing or inadequate legislation which is to provide for real estate activity, including real estate agency.

Ethical dilemmas of a social worker at work with people suffering from Alzheimer's disease

The diploma thesis is focused on the ethical dilemmas of a social worker when working with people suffering from Alzheimer's disease. The aim of this theses is to describe the ethical dilemmas that a social worker encounters when working with people suffering from Alzheimer's disease and then to point out how the chosen ethical theory can be helpful in solving the dilemma situation. The first to fourth chapters are conceived in an informative form. These chapters are based primarily on professional literature. In the first chapter I characterize the target group of my diploma thesis. The second chapter focuses on an institution with a special regime which is intended for people with Alzheimer's disease or other types of dementia. The third chapter deals with the social worker which is followed by the fourth chapter of negotiations with the applicant for residential social service in an institution with a special regime. The fifth chapter describes eight dilemma situations that I personally experienced as a social worker. The sixth chapter of the diploma thesis deals with the analysis of my chosen ethical dilemma from the point of view of the ethical theory of utilitarianism.

Homelesses with regress to the social services

This thesis concerns repeated returns of homeless people to social services. The theoretical part focuses on the description and the problem areas of homeless people, cultural-historical development of homelessness in Czech lands - defines the term of social services and discusses the model of work with the target group in Poland. At the end of the theoretical part a Center for homeless people the Bohuslav Bures social services center (BBSSC) Salvation Army is presented, in this way methods of work with the target group are demonstrated, the way of keeping documentation is described and the analysis of the shelter home relevant to the theme of the work are publicized. The research carried out in the practical part looks for factors which have caused the return of the former users of social services. For the purposes of the work the phenomenon of returning is studied in persons, who in the period of 2007 - April 2012 used a shelter home in BBSSC in Salvation Army, left for commercial housing and after their departure they come back to BBSSC within one year as candidates for a social service. In order to find this information semi- standardized interviews were held and analysis of the data was carried out (a study of documentation of personal files). Active employment policy in the selected region after establishment of the independent Czech Republic

The diploma thesis entitled "Active Employment Policy in the Selected Region after Establishment of the Independent Czech Republic" is divided into several thematic parts, which gradually introduce the issues of an active employment policy. The introductory parts of the diploma thesis deal with the general term "unemployment", the consequences of unemployment, and the gradual development of government intervention for unemployed people.
Among the essential components of the diploma thesis are the legislative and institutional solutions for unemployment, together with the characteristics of individual instruments of the active employment policy, which have gradually developed over time with regard to their necessity in the solving of unemployment issues. The thesis gives a very detailed description of the use of instruments of the active employment policy in the Prague region, which is specific from this perspective in comparison with the other regions of the Czech Republic. The most frequent problems connected with the application of particular instruments of the active employment policy are described, together with suggestions for possible improvements to their use and channelling.
