Design of the car headlight
Struhár, Slavomír ; Bukvald, Jiří (referee) ; Buganská, Tamara (advisor)
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is design of headlamp for a further unspecified automobile. The first part of the thesis is formed by Overview of current knowledge dedicated to the history, the present and the near future of headlamps of series-production cars. The following sections describe the objectives of the thesis, the process of the design itself and present the final design of the headlamp. The final part evaluates the results of the work with respect to the stated objectives.
Modern trends in development of lighting systems
Mareš, Milan ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The task of this bachelor´s thesis is survey Modern trends in development of lighting systems. The entire work is devidet into 6 parts, which are also particular chapters. Opening chapter describes international specifications and describtion of lighting sources. Following chapter describes individual design in lighting systems. In the end of the bachelor´s thesis is comparing of lighting system and look at the future.

Porovnání halogenových a xenonových světlometů z hlediska viditelnosti chodců
Bradáč, Albert ; Semela, Marek ; Škoda, Jan ; Sumec, Stanislav ; Kledus, Robert ; Bilík, Martin
This case study presents a comparison of visibility and recognisability (discernibility) of objects – pedestrians – on the road in rural areas at night on encounter with low beam headlights fitted with halogen lights and xenon (high-intensity discharge) lights in one and the same vehicle model. The study was inspired by the results of dynamic measuring of the reactions of vehicle drivers to the presence of pedestrians on the right side of the roadway, where the results indicated subsequent reactions of drivers driving a vehicle fitted with xenon discharge lights. The study is therefore concluded with a static comparison that confirms the factual findings.

Spectral Line Amplitudes of Thermally Polarized 129 Xenon in Comparison with Hyperpolarized 129 Xenon
Rychnovský, Jan ; Buchta, Zdeněk ; Bartušek, Karel
We present the experimental results of hyperpolarized 129Xe spectral line amplitude obtained by 4.7 T NMR system and high power semiconductor laser with reduced emission linewidth. The hyperpolarization process was based on the spin exchange collision technique between 129Xe atoms and optically pumped Rb atoms. The amplification of the 129Xe spectral line amplitude about 400 times was achieved. Furthermore, the influence of the optical pumping duration to the 129Xe spectral line amplitude was surveyed.
