Part of thesis is creating scheme and model of presentation object with software Autodesk Inventor Professional 2010. Last part of thesis is focused on creating a blueprint and machining strategy with CAM software PowerMill v. 9, verification of created lanes creation itself on vertical milling machine FV 25 CNC with guiding system Heidenhain iTNC 530.
Method of the production of part with tooth system.
Kubla, Dalibor ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the methods of production of gear, machinery and tools. The practical part compares the methods for the production of gears; method of hobbing milling and method of separating milling.
Options handling of tools and workpieces on CNC machines in actual practice
Dočekal, Václav ; Holub, Michal (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a detail description of authomatic tools change and automatic workpieces change of by CNC machines. Also it describes all matters connected with the issue, as types of bins, ways of clamping of tools and workpieces in the machine and possibilities of manipulation with tools and workpieces. This way dear and attentive reader gets wide look at the possibilities of realization of authomatic tools change and authomatic workpieces change. Author puts deeper emphasis at the actuallity of constructions and methods by these types of manufacturing automation at CNC machines.
Milling Tools Made from Cemented Carbide
Havran, Petr ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the development of cutting tools made of cemented carbides. The first part describes the theory of milling, which is necessary to determine the milling parameters. The next section contains an independent division of milling cemented carbide tools, their uses, advantages and disadvantages. The last part is the selection of tools from the catalogs of the world's businesses and overall assessment.
Machining of rotating Body-part on CNC lathe
Dlouhý, Vít ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on the technology fundamentals of machining for the use of the CNC lathe which was used for machining the required parts are made of stainless steel. In the introduction are mentioned the historical milestones related to machine tools. In the following chapter is analyzed machining process and related fact. A follow-up chapter contains the parameters common to a modern machine tool CNC machines. Followed by the practical part with the characteristics of the machined components. The next chapter includes a selection of CNC lathe for production. Continued by selecting the appropriate cutting tool and adjusting the machine for the given component. They were applied a total of three variants of production with the subsequent evaluation. In conclusion, it became established fact, for example, the advantages of the shape tools or the use of more spindles during the machining.
An analysis of the heat-affected surface layer after grinding of the bearing rings
Filípek, Timotej ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
The object of this bachelor thesis is a determination of the causes of burns origin at the surface layer of a workpiece after a grinding process and their elimination. The first chapter is focused on the description of the grinding technology, grinder types and grinding tools. The second chapter deals with the characterisation of the process fluids, their use and suitability depending on the cut conditions and the material. The third chapter explains what a burn is, the causes of its origin and the ways of subsequent elimination of this adverse event. The experimental part – performed in the Schaeffler Skalica, spol. s r.o. company – deals with the origin of the heat affected surface layer due to improper dressing grinding parameters and improper choice of intervals between dressing processes of the grinding wheel. At the experiment two different grinding wheels were used; subsequently, they were compared to each other from the point of view of suitability for the machining process. The final chapter comprises the experimental part assessment and a summary of the findings in this topic.
Development stages in CNC machining
Dlouhý, Vít ; Strejček, Jan (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with machining with the use of CNC machines. In the introductory part is outlined a brief historical development of these machines. The following are characteristics associated with machining processes. In the next chapter it is described for machining on the classic conventional machine tools. Followed by the entry of computer technology into the field of machining and its impact. The last theoretical chapter summarizes the capabilities of the current machines CNC machine tools. In the final part is a description of the production of the selected rotational components produced by using CNC lathe.
Proposal for Universal Clamping Fixture Production
Košútová, Katarína ; Kouřil, Karel (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the production concept of universal fixture designed for a small beamhouse. The thesis is divided into parts which follow each other. The thesis describes the machining technology. The practical part includes the production concept of a universal fixture in paper form made in parametric modeling program called SolidWorks. In the end od practical part is a production of universal fixture and assembly. The last part contents of a technical-economic evaluation and comparison of production.
Influences manufacturing technologies geometric and dimensional accuracy of workpieces
Suchomel, Kamil ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to describe influences of selected production technologies on geometrical and dimensional accuracy of workpieces. Specific technologies - turning, milling and grinding and the machines on which these technologies will be implemented - a vertical lathe, a portal milling machine and a center grinder are described in this thesis. Additionally a procedure is created for adding geometric errors to a tri-axial machine tool to describe the entire working area of the machine in terms of errors. Subsequently an analysis of each geometric error is created for each machine and their influence on the resulting workpiece is determined.
