Analysis of costs on the workers in the construction company

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of the costs of workers in the construction company. The subject is the definition of the costs of permanent employees and external employees in a particular construction company. The terms wage policy in the Czech Republic, wages and salaries, prices in construction, workers and THP workers are defined. The following section describes the costs that an undertaking has for its permanent employees and the cost it has for external employees. It is also compared whether it is advantageous to hire or have permanent employees. At the end of the work, it is evaluated whether it is preferable to hire or have them as permanent employees. The reasons why the company has it set up in this way are also clarified.

The thesis focuses on motivation and stimulation of workers and employees in a specific company. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical part. The first part contains theoretical basis related to the topic of motivation and stimulation. In the practical part of the stated evaluation of the current situation in the company and at the base of the results was made a proposal on improving the current motivation system and increase the satisfaction of workers.

This bachelor thesis deals with construction-technological phase of supporting skeleton structural system's realization of the transfer station at waste dump Uhy. It contains operating procedure, equipment of the construction site, time schedule, machinery, control and testing plan, work safety, calculation and alternative proposal for prefabricated part from reinforced concrete. The alternative proposal solves sizing of the reinforced concrete element, calculation and machinery.

Výstava Dělník je smrtelný, práce je živá, kterou připravila Renata Skřebská, kurátorka Galerie výtvarného umění v Ostravě (GVUO), představuje dosud nezpracované téma práce ve výtvarném umění od počátku 20. století do současnosti. Zastoupeni jsou nejen autoři již etablovaní, jako například Jan Zrzavý, Otto Gutfreund, Bohumil Kubišta, Adriena Šimotová nebo Stanislav Kolíbal, ale i střední a nejmladší generace, například Zbyněk Sedlecký (1976), Václav Buchtelík (1990) či Filip Nádvorník (1995). Výstava bude zahájena v úterý 22. září v 17 hodin. V ostravském Domě umění bude k vidění do 3. ledna 2021. Výstava byla prodloužena do 21. února 2021.

Workers'and Trade Union Press in the Kladno Region in the Interwar Period

This master's thesis addresses the functioning of the workers' press in Kladno District during the interwar period (1918-1938). The theoretical part describes early days of mining and metallurgical industry in this region with a special attention being paid to the development of the Pražská železářská společnost and Poldina huť. Furthermore, this chapter outlines the growth of the town Kladno and its national composition until the end of the researched period. The chapter continues with providing a detailed description of work and private lives of Kladno workmen during the First Czechoslovak Republic. Trade unions and changes in legislation are discussed as they directly impacted the key professions in Kladno District - miners and steelworkers. Finally, the last section of the theoretical part is dedicated to the beginnings of the workers' press in the region, namely the paper Svoboda which played an essential role in this area. The practical part studies five titles from Kladno District, for which the local workmen constituted the target audience. Prevalence of substance abuse among employees of low-threshold and outpatient addictology services in the Czech Republic

Background: The prevalence of substance use in the general population is commonly mapped, as is the issue of substance prevalence among drug users themselves. There is no official research in the Czech Republic that deals with the prevalence of substance use among workers in addictology services. Objectives: The aim of the research is to map the prevalence of the use of legal and illegal addictive substances in a selected research population. The results of the mapping will show which addictive substances are most frequently used by members of the research population, which substances have the highest lifetime prevalence and which substances are not very popular in this population. Methods: The basic orientation of the empirical survey was quantitative. Data were obtained through an online questionnaire survey. Out of the total number of 589 employees, 41.9% of employees of outpatient or low-threshold addictology services participated in the research, ie 247 respondents.
