Optimization of single-page application startup
Bartoň, Jan ; Švikruha, Patrik (referee) ; Ilgner, Petr (advisor)
This thesis concerns with optimalisation of launching the single page JavaScript application Kentico Kontent. It especially focuses on dividing JavaScript libraries and packages into independent files according to certain criteria. These adjustments to the application are divided into several scenarios. For every scenario, six types of measurements have been carried out, due to which the impact of the change on the speed of loading the application and the amount of transferred data from server to client was found. The result of this thesis is a proposal of adjustments which lead to a faster launch of the application, due to a smaller amount of data being transferred from the server, therefore the application can use the browser cache more effectively.
Web Collaboration Platform for Activists
Kabelka, Jiří ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is creating a web collaboration platform for connecting ecologically oriented activists containing tools for finding suitable collaborants and subsequent project management. The platform is built using the Model-view-controller architectural pattern. The platform is using the PHP Framework Laravel for server side communication and a MySQL database for data storage. The platform user interface is built using the CSS library Bootstrap, Blade templating engine, Sass compiled using the webpack module bundler and native Javascript with jQuery library.
Sample assignments in VHDL
Huzlík, Petr ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Holek, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor’s study connects on semestral project and is focused on VHDL language and FPGA and CPLD circuits by Xilinx. The aim of this study is to describe how to work with profossional design tool WebPack. Documents detaily describes how to create new project on advanced level - with emphasis on methodiology and examples from practice in VHDL lenguage.
System for Automated Server Administration
Pavelka, Martin ; Pánek, Richard (referee) ; Krčma, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to design the user interface and implement the information system as a web application. Using the custom implemented library the system communicates with GraphQL server which manages the client data. The thesis describes possible solutions for physical servers automatization. The application provides the application interface to manage virtual servers. Automatization is possible without human interaction. Connection to the virtualization technologies is handled by web interface APIs or custom scripts running in the virtual system terminal. There is a monitoring system built over project components. The thesis also describes the continuous integration using Gitlab tools. Running the configuration task is solved using the Unix CRON system.
