Design of Washing Machine

The topic of this thesis is design of front-loading automatic washing machine and options to built-in installation and top panel removal. The thesis objective is to simplify and enhance control interface and make the interface ready for colour options. The thesis is divided to analytic portion and accompanying report. The analytic portion describes historical development, existing technical solutions and designs. The accompanying report describes design process since design alternatives evaluation. The final design itself consists of physical form, ergonomic, technical, colour and graphical solutions.

Market Research in the Field of Laundry Care Technology

This thesis deals with the research of the current offer of household washing machines and driers in the first part. On the basis of this survey, there was made clear list of appliances currently available from all price ranges, including their specifications. The main core of the thesis is an enumeration along with description of modern technologies and features which are essential for the marketing of individual producers. The second part deals in detail with selected technologies of household laundry care, and assesses their usefulness in the professional field.

Usability of Simulink for Laundry Process Modeling

This thesis is devided into two parts. First part is a bibliographic search and speaks about maths modeling, simulations, a MATLAB Simulink programme, and a laundy process. Second part deals with a math model of an industrial laundry. In this part, there is a detailed descripton of the model and how the model was created.

Design of Vibroisolation Strut with Minimal Friction Losses

This bachelor's thesis is focused on design of Vibroisolation Strut, whose damper uses magnetorheological (MR) fluid. In order to take the full advantage of semiactively controlled MR damper to provide a wide control range, it demands a low value of friction losses, which is mainly caused by used seals. The first part is dedicated to research of dampers, aiming to find the ideal design that ensures this demand. In this purpose, friction of some rod seals was also experimentally determined. Further, calculations which were necessary to determine the MR damper's damping characteristic were carried out and the function of its magnetic circuit was verified by using FEM software. The parameters of the final design of the strut were adjusted for using in an automatic washing machine.

Vybavenost československých domácností domácími spotřebiči v šedesátých letech 20. století

My dissertation deals with the progress of consumer society in the 60th of 20th century in the Czechoslovakia. At the beginning of my work i try to theory of consumer society, everydayness and the free time in czechoslovak society. My aim is equipment of electric apparatus in the families and their importance for women's work in households. Especially I reply the questions, where and how the apparatus were sold, how was the quality of them and how much apparatus saved women's jobs. I analyse the availability of those apparatus for consumers/users. I compare amount, prices and design of home appliances in Czechoslovakia and abroad. My dissertation is based on the fact that in 60th of 20th century was very big increase of refrigerators, automatic washing machines, irons, hoovers, hairdryers, televisions and next smaller home appliances. I compare this growth with countries of Western Europe. My dissertation is based on studium of specialized monographs, articles and studies of czech and english provenance. The analysis of the technical equipment of Czechoslovak household in 1970´s

Bachelor thesis contains a description of everyday life and consumer society in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic at 1970s. It is focused on technical equipment of contemporary households. The thesis is based on the hypothesis that during the seventies market offers to women household appliances they never had before. In more detail it analyzes the situation of the first automatic washing machines. The aim of my thesis was to discover what changes the automatic washing machine brought to the nature of women's work and also what were the differences of laundry technology between the Czechoslovakia and Western countries during the seventies.
