Creation vissual process
Šuková, Klára ; Pfeiffer, Jan (advisor) ; Fulková, Marie (referee)
The work focuses on the personal authorial process. The author compares these personal processes and experiences and confronts them with other views on the subject. The aim of the work will be to highlight the process as a necessary part of art. The work will also examine authorship as itself. Emphasis will also be placed on the work of current and past authors and their process over decades of work. In the practical part, the work deals with "art based research" where the author analyzes her own works and tries to find recurring patterns in her creative processes. She also points out the importance of the teacher's role and leadership to the importance of the process and not just the goal. KEYWORDS Art based research, authorship, authorial process, creation, the process of creation

The dissertation thesis, Ornament in Nature, Science and Art, deals with the theme of ornaments in contemporary art, design and architecture. Individual chapters are dedicated to exploring nature and science as sources of inspiration for contemporary art. The chapter, Body and Ornament, is about ornaments for the human bodies and patterns created from the form of human bodies. Art creations by the author and her students make up an integral part of the main text. An individual chapter is dedicated to the Bodyornament project. Bodyornament is a project involving artistic, educational and research elements. Its primary body of work took place as an art performance in the Veletržní palace in Prague. Through the active participation of the students, patterns and ornaments made from their bodies were created. The process was documented by means of photography. The photographs together with the students' written reflections about the experience comprise the primary research documents. In this dissertation, these documents were analyzed and interpreted by using a combination of specific forms of qualitative research and art-based research. Our research model was based on three degree reflexive analysis according to Donald Schön. Through interpretation of the research results, thoughts of possible...

Pavla Gajdošíková: The Phenomenon of Architecture in One's Own Art and Pedagogical Work (Pedagogical Implications) Abstract: The dissertation looks at the perception of architecture and space in art and explores the possible uses of artistic and reflective processes in learning situations involving students of art education. It is based on ongoing public discussions regarding architecture's influence on the perception of the environment and the associated quality of life of each and every one of us. Thematically, it follows on the author's cycle of artworks titled Subjective Urbanism, which explored the subject using various artistic media. The dissertation makes use of a/r/tography, a methodology that offers a way of understanding a subject of research from three different perspectives (artist, teacher, researchers), thus enabling complementarily structured learning in "interspace." Metaphorically speaking, the subject of architecture and space is approached as an intertwining of these three identities. This also the paper's triadic structure. In the first part, the author introduces the subject at hand through her own works of art, a reflection of which formed the starting point for her subsequent inquiries. In the second part, she uses several case studies to describe three pedagogical projects aimed at...
