OSD data system design of small transport aircraft for training of maintenance personnel

This master’s thesis describes the area of operational suitability data that is established as part of the aircraft type certificate. The thesis first chapters are describing OSD, its origin and implementation. The thesis also analyzes all regulations that are connected with this matter and are focusing on the training of maintenance certifying staff. A part of this thesis deals with the description of aircraft Evektor EV-55 Outback, for which is created the educational material, and a description of its fuel system. The concept of educational material for maintenance certifying staff theoretical type rating training and an example of final test are at the end of the thesis.

Selected materials for teaching chemistry in lower grades at the eight-year grammar school

The incoherence of the Czech school system, which is based on the existence of three different types of grammar schools, results in a time inconsistency in the teaching of some subjects. Today, pupils at eight-year grammar schools encounter the subject of chemistry for the first time one to two years earlier than pupils at primary schools. However, the same textbook may be presented to both groups, but it may be inappropriate for younger pupils as it would not reflect the fact that they are not cognitively advanced enough. How do eight-year grammar schools themselves approach this disparity? Does the approach to teaching chemistry to younger pupils differ in foreign countries in any way? These are the questions this thesis seeks to answer. To find the answers, an analysis of Czech and selected foreign curriculum documents was used. The most important results of this thesis include the fact that eight-year grammar schools in the Czech Republic most often include a total of seven teaching units during the first year of chemistry teaching, of which the most abstract concepts are included in the teaching unit Particle composition of substances. Problematical issues of conservation biology education

The aim of the thesis is to map the problematic places in nature conservation teaching in primary schools and to create suitable teaching material to help pupils better master these areas. The research included an analysis of school educational programmes and textbooks on natural history and geography for the 2nd grade of primary schools. The analysis involved 26 school educational programmes and 24 textbooks. From this analysis it emerged that nature conservation teaching in primary schools is defined relatively vaguely and cursorily and most often focused on protected areas or protected species. Nature conservation as such is mostly devoted to only two pages in the textbooks. Following the research of Říhová (2019), Vodehnalová (2019), Tvrdá (2016) and the analysis of ŠVP and textbooks, several topics or problematic places in nature conservation teaching were selected. These places were then verified by a questionnaire survey among teachers of the 2nd grade of primary school. The questionnaire survey, which was conducted electronically using the Office Forms application in January 2022, was attended by 41 respondents, across all regions of the Czech Republic. Most teachers said surprisingly that they consider these topics important and are devoted to them in the teaching, but probably not to the extent that it would be needed. Some say that they would appreciate a higher time subsidy in order to cover all areas of this issue. Teachers are the least devoted to eutrophication in the teaching. For the above mentioned reasons, a suitable didactic material was created, which includes all important topics in nature conservation teaching at elementary school. Problematical issues of of ecology education at lower-secondary level from the teachers' point of view

The aim of the Master´s thesis is to identify the problem areas of the eco-logy curriculum at lower secondary level and to create educational activities that would help to better manage these issues. The theoretical part summarizes the situation of the ecology curriculum within biology as a school subject at lower secondary schools. In the practical part of the thesis a questionnaire survey was conducted among biology teachers in order to identify problematic issues of eco-logy and then an interview was conducted with selected participants in the que-stionnaire survey. Teaching materials have been created for those problem areas of the ecology curriculum.

Regionální výchova a výuka místního regionu na 1. stupni ZŠ (na příkladu ORP Pelhřimov)

This diploma thesis deals with regional education and teaching local region at elementary school. The theoretical part is also focused on the situation of regional education and teaching local region at elementary school and their inclusion into curricular documents. The thesis also includes geographical characteristics of Municipality with Extended Competence Pelhřimov. The practical part of the thesis is formed by teaching material, which is the main aim of the thesis. It consists of documentation of four school trips and includes introduction activities, which take place at school and their aim is to touch the topic in advance. The educational materials are intended for teachers and pupils of the 4th and 5th grade of elementary school. The practical part is made consistently with Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education.

The Life in the Soil: Practical Exercise for Elementary School

My thesis's topic is life in the soil. This thesis discusses soil itself and organisms that live in it. At the same time it describes an implementation of the topic Soil in schooling into an educational program in a specific primary school. The theoretical part contains eight basic areas - soil formation, its characteristics, soil types, functions, soil degradation and protection, soil nutrients, methods of studying soil fauna and, last but not least, topic of soil in general education schedule for primary schooling and school edaucation schedule of a specific primary school. Empirical part of the work contains an analysis of the natural history textbooks on the topic of soil and a description of teaching material which was used during lessons at the Primary School Bystřice. The aim of the work was to verify the functionality of the resulting teaching materials which were evaluated in post and pre-tests. Both tests were first evaluated separately and then compared together. The resulsts were very similar. In th both of class was the same number of students were get better or get worse. Analysis of Two Selected Teaching Materials

This diploma thesis deals with the partial analysis of two teaching materials which are used while teaching German as a foreign language. These materials are Themen aktuell 1 and Direkt neu 1, which are frequently utilized at secondary schools for the teaching of German at the language level A1-A2. The analysis of these teaching materials concentrates on the presentation of the grammar curriculum. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the teaching methods, current trends and also with the role of the teaching material in teaching. In the practical part of this diploma thesis the analysis of the presentation and the practice of the selected grammatical phenomena and also the classification of the exercises, which are found in the teaching materials, is carried out. The practical part also presents the results of the test, which was carried out on the basis of selected grammatical phenomena at Akademické gymnázium, school of the capital city Prague and Biskupské gymnázium J. N. Neumanna in České Budějovice. At Akademické gymnázium German is taught according to the teaching material called Themen aktuell 1, while at Biskupské gymnázium it is taught according to Direkt neu 1.
