Natural colors through the eyes of pre-school children - developing color sensibility

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of sensory sensitivity of preschool children through natural media and is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part of the thesis examines colors and their perception in nature, the use of natural media in contemporary visual arts, and the planning of an art education in kindergarten. The practical part describes the specific planning and implementation of an art series using natural colors and its reflection. The conclusion summarizes the findings, which indicate that some children can be highly sensitive to subtle differences in shades and less saturated colors in nature, although children generally respond best to vibrant and intense colors. The research also highlights that children are capable of independently finding materials and tools for artistic creation and show interest in observing and perceiving the colors of nature. Based on the findings, the thesis formulates principles for planning art activities with natural colors.
Bird world - theme for art activities in kindergarten

The topic of the bachelor thesis is the bird world - theme for art activities in kindergarten. The aim of the thesis was to create a set of art activities and activities related to the bird world. The theoretical part deals with the development of the preschool child and the development of drawing. The thesis also includes a chapter on art activities and techniques used in kindergarten, as well as information on environmental education in the kindergarten environment in relation to the Framework Curriculum for Preschool Education. For a deeper exploration of the topic, a chapter on birds in art is also included in the theoretical part. In the practical part, themes for art activities related to birds, a description of their implementation by preschool children and subsequent evaluation are developed. The participant observation method provides answers to the evaluation questions.
Folk traditions in art activities in the preschool class of kindergarten

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is folk traditions in art activities in the preschool class of the kindergarten. The aim of the work was to create a set of creative activities to strengthen the importance of folk traditions in the life of a kindergarten. The theoretical part contains chapters related to the preschool child, folk traditions and creative activities within the RVP PV, as well as chapters on the history, meaning of folk traditions with the possibility of their use in creative activities in kindergarten. Attention is also paid to creative activities and creative techniques suitable for preschool education. In the practical part, ideas for creative activities related to folk customs and traditions are developed, as well as, a description of their implementation with preschool children with subsequent evaluation. The answers to the research questions are formulated on the basis of participant observation and group interview. The course of activities was recorded by video recording.
The concept of art activities in the practice of kindergarten

This bachelor's thesis is focused on the concept of art activities based on experiential learning in practice in preschools. The theoretical part contains five basic parts. The first part deals with the concept of preschool children and their development. The second part goes on to describe artistic activities and methods for managing them, while the third part is focused on developing children's drawing skills. The fourth part is focused on art techniques, which are further divided into traditional techniques and non-traditional techniques. Finally. the fifth part deals with experiential learning and its features. The research part contains practical instructions for implementing art activities, including experiential learning, with Individual activities being divided according to the age category of children.
Art activities and creativity in the outdoors with preschool children

This Bachelor´s thesis is focused on art activities and creativity in the outdoor with preschool children. The main aim of this work is to create a practical set of art activities using natural materials. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part describes the development of preschool children, the child´s relationship to nature, environmental education of preschool children and also provides an overview of basic art techniques, art techniques with natural materials and types of natural materials. In the practical part, art and creative activities are proposed, arranged in a list according to the season, followed by the implementation and evaluation of specific selected activities with children in kindergarten. The practical part is supplemented by a questionnaire concerning the stay of parents with children in the nature.
Insects - theme for art activities in kindergarten

The theme of this bachelor thesis are insect themed art activities with preschool children. The theoretical part deals with the development of preschool children and the development of children's art expression. Furthermore, environmental education in preschool age, its goals, means and methods. For a deeper examination of the topic, the theoretical part also includes a chapter focusing on insects in fine art. In the practical part there are realized art lessons, of which each lesson focuses mainly on one kind of insects. Part of each lesson is its subsequent evaluation, which includes answers to research questions using structured observation. The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to understand the topic of insects as a specific topic for art activities of children in kindergarden. And watch how children's relationships and attitudes towards insects change, how it expands their interests.
Contemporary art in kindergarten

The purpose of the thesis is to describe how common objects are used in contemporary art and consequently in art classes for children in the kindergarten. The theoretical part of the paper outlines the importance of creativity in education, introduces art activities boosting development of creativity and describes what makes projects such an outstanding learning tool. The last chapter overviews contemporary Czech artists whose assortment of creative courses and methods has been used as inspiration for various art assignments in the practical part of the paper. The practical part of the paper is in the form of a project designed for a particular kindergarten. Photo documentation and the author's pedagogic reflection of the applied activities are enclosed.
